볼륨감 우수한 진보라 소화의 절화용 숙근 스타티스 ‘드림블루’ 육성

‘Dream Blue’는 절화용의 숙근 스타티스로 2009년에전라북도농업기술원에서 종간 교잡을 통해 신품종으로 육성되었다. 2003년 라티폴리아(모본)와 카스피아(부본)의 종간 교잡을 통하여 당년 11월에 3,240개의 실생계통을 획득하였고, 2004년 3월에 3,000실생계통을 육묘하여 특성평가한 결과 절화 볼륨감이 우수하고 진보라 화색의‘Sta03-26’을 선발하였다. 2005년 조직배양묘를 번식하였으며, 2006년부터 2007년까지 2년 동안 생육과 개화특성 등 특성검정을 통해 ‘Dream Blue’를 육성하였다. ‘Dream Blue’는 개화습성이 사계성이며, 화형은 산방상원추형이다. 화경의 분지각은 39정도이고, 잎의 색깔은 진녹색(RHS G139A)이다. 화경 당 탁엽수는 5.4개 있으며, 엽장과 엽병장은 짧고, 엽장에 대한 엽병장의 길이도 짧다. 화색은 진한 보라색(RHS PVN82B) 을 띠고 있으며, 소화 크기는 작지만 소화수는 ‘Ocean Blue’보다 3.7배 많다. 꽃잎수는 5개이며, 암술과 수술은 각각 5개이다. 꽃대는 진녹색(RHS G125A) 이고, 하단부에는 고유의 갈색 반점이 있다. 준고냉지 하계 재배에서개화시기는 ‘Ocean Blue’보다 15일 늦고, 절화중은 화경당 248g으로 3.7배 무겁다. 2009년 2월 국립 종자원에품종 등록되었다. Limonium spp. ‘Dream Blue’ was selected byinterspecific crossing of L. latifolium O. Kuntze (maternalparent) and L. bellidiforium Dumout (paternal parent) at theJeollabuk-do Agricultural Research and Extension Servicesin 2009. Growth and flowering characteristics wereinvestigated from 2006 to 2007. Its major characteristicswere the four-season flowering and corymb panicleinflorescence. An angle of branching was 39 degrees. Leafcolor was dark green and stipule was 5.4 sheets per flowerstalk. Leaf length and leaf width of ‘Dream Blue’ wereshorter compared to ‘Ocean Blue’ used as the control. Floret color was dark purple (RHS PVN82B). Floret sizewas smaller and floret numbers were 3.7 times greaterthan those of ‘Ocean Blue’. The number of petal, pistil andstamen in floret was 5 ea, respectively. Flower stalk colorwas dark green with brown spot. Blooming of ‘Dream Blue’was 15 days late than that of ‘Ocean Blue’. ‘Dream Blue’produced cut flower with a good quality as fresh weight of248 g per flower stalk. ‘Dream Blue’ was registered toKorea Seed and Variety Services (KSVS) for new plantprotection rights in 2009.

일년생 스타티스 준고냉지 여름재배의 묘 저온처리에 따른 생육 및 개화

일년생 스타티스의 준고냉지 여름 절화재배에서 묘 저온처리가 개화 및 절화 생산에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 저온처리에 따른 묘 생육은 초장, 엽장, 엽폭에서는 차이가 없었으나, 엽수는 파종시기가 늦을수록 증가하였고, 저온처리 후 묘 손실률은 40일 저장에서 16.5%로 높았다. 묘를 정식한 70일 후 저온처리간의 생육은초장, 엽장, 엽폭에서 차이가 적었으나 엽수는 무처리가2배 정도 많았다. 개화기는 30일과 40일 묘 저온저장이공히 7월 14일로 무처리의 8월 5일에 비해 20일 정도빨랐다. 절화품질에서 절화장, 분지수와 경경은 40일 저장을 제외하고는 비슷하였다. 절화 생산량은 30일 저장이 1,000m2당 6,339속으로 가장 많았고, 7월 의 초기수량이 3,135속으로 약 50%를 차지하였다. This study was conducted on growth and floweringcharacteristics of Limonium sinuatum Mill. ‘Deep Blue’ bychilling treatment at sub-alpine region during summercultivation. The seedling quality was not different, regardlessof the low-temperature processing on plant height, plantlength and plant width, but the more number of leaveswere recorded as the sowing time was delayed. Themortality ratio of seedling was highest with 16.5 percent in40 days chilling treatment at 2οC with dark condition. Thegrowth at 70 days after transplanting had no effect onplant height, leaf length, leaf width, and regardless of thechilling treatment, but twice the number of leaves in non-chilling treatment. The flowering time in 30 days and 40days chilling storage were earlier about twenty days thancontrol. The quality of cut-flower was not significantlydifferent between treatments, except for 40 days in chillingstorage. Cut-flower yield was highest in the 30 dayschilling treatment in 6,339 bundles per 1,000m2, and inJuly 3,135 bundles the initial quantity of about 50 percent.

흰녹병에 강한 백색 절화용 스프레이 국화 ‘원스’ 육성

‘Once’, a new spray chrysanthemum (Dendranthema grandiflorum) cultivar, was developed for white rustresistance and cut flower production by the openpollination of ‘Puma’ at the Jeollabuk-do AgriculturalResearch and Extension Services in 2010. The seedsharvested on February in 2007 were sown at green houseon June in 2007. One of seedling lines was selected onOctober in 2007 according to its breeding criteria. Growthand flowering characteristics were investigated from2008 to 2010. The vegetative line was named as ‘Once’according to the last selection in 2010. ‘Once’ hasanemone type flowers and white petals (WNN155C, RHScolor chart). The color of flower center is yellow-green(YG154B) and the stem color was green due to deficiencyof anthocyanin pigment. The flowering time of ‘Once’ isaround the middle of October in natural condition. Thedays to flower in summer cultivation required 53 days fromthe beginning of short-day treatment and the diameter offlower and flower center bloomed on September is 4.0cmand 1.7cm, respectively. Blooming of ‘Once’ was delayedby 3 days, its diameter of flower was broader, the numberof ray flowers was less, when it compared to ‘Puma’. Thenew variety chrysanthemum cultivar, ‘Once’ has theresistance to chrysanthemum white rust in inoculation testwith seedlings. ‘원스’는 전라북도농업기술원에서 2010년도에 흰녹병 저항성의 절화용 스프레이 국화 신품종으로 육성되었다.2006년 ‘Puma’를 모본으로 방임 수분하여 2007년 2월에 채종하였고, 동년 6월에 유리온실에서 파종하였으며,10월에 화색과 화형에 따라 실생 1계통을 선발하였다.2008년부터 2010년까지 삽목묘를 번식하여 생육과 개화특성을 구명하였으며, 2010년 최종 선발된 영양계통을‘원스’로 명명하였다. ‘원스’의 화형은 1륜의 설상화를 가진 아네모네 형에 속한다. 설상화 색은 흰색(WNN155C,RHS Value)이며, 화반 색은 옐로-그린(YG154B)이고. 줄기 색은 안토시아닌이 분포하지 않는 그린계열이다. ‘원스’의 자연 개화기는 10월 중순이며, 여름재배에서 개화소요기간은 단일처리 후 53일이고, 꽃 직경은 4.0cm, 화반 직경은 1.7cm이다. 개화기는 대조품종인 ‘Puma’에 비해 3일 늦고, 꽃 직경은 크고, 설상화 수는 적다. ‘원스’는 국화 흰녹병 저항성 품종이며, 2012년 국립 종자원에 품종 등록되었다.
