This study aimes to understand trends in alternative medicine use as new therapeutic ways to overcome the limits of western medicine, and is primarily concerned with function of alternative medicine to influence cancer theraphy in the United States after 1970s. Features of oriental medicine and western medicine through the comparison of Quantum medicine and Newton physics are pointed as the basic theory in alternative medicine. Homeopathic medicine, Chiro practice, Aroma theraphy, Transcendental meditation, Acupuncture is shortly is shortly introduced by alternative medicine use. The advantage of this study is to gain as follows : Firstly, To be recognized alternative function of cancer theraphy by Western nations including United States. Secondly, To understand the integrative program utilized as the alternative ways of cancer theraphy in the field. Thirdly, To understand side effects in alternative medicine use. :astly, To recommand marketing stratigies on alternative medicine services to develop Korean health tourism. In conclusion, it is increasingly emphasized that the importance of alternative medicine in relation to health promotion in the western nations. Western travelers expect that alternative medicine service is attractive and effective as the complementary function on incurable disease. Health tourism to experience alternative medicine services by travel will be expected one of the key industries in the future.

UR 협상과정과 WTO의 영향에 대한 평가

The Uruguay Round (UR) on Agriculture was initiated by a small number of exporting countries like the United States, European Union, and Cairns group who were motivated to transfer their internal problems in agriculture to international markets. Although they highlighted the theme of global agricultural reform by comparative advantage and welfare of the all participant, the Round was an unfair game of economic politics in the name of multilateral negotiation that could solve their accumulative problems of over-production, stockpiling, export dumping and increasing subsidies. In fact, the negotiation was prepared in advance by the policy reforms of the leading countries in a way to fit with their own needs and budget capabilities. As the result, the monopolistic power of those exporting countries has strengthened in the international market on the one hand; while deepening the disparities between the rich and poor and food security dependency of many importing countries on the other hand. Unfairness of the Agreement lies in the fact that; export- restrictions and embargos of exporting countries were allowed; but no exemption for importing countries other than admitting tariffication and minimum market access (MMA) in the rule of market access. This paper, in analyzing the nature of unfairness of the Agreement and the impact, on the basis of Korean experiences in order to provide information to those who are concerned in the agricultural arena of globalization.

흑임자를 첨가한 설기떡의 항산화 활성 및 품질 특성

As modern people's eating habits change and diseases such as adult diseases increase, interest in foods with high antioxidant activity has been focused in both industry and academia. Therefore, current study conducted to develop a functional food that can reduce inflammation in the body using black sesame seeds. In this study, water content, pH, physical properties (color, texture), antioxidant activity (sample-extracted ABTS radical scavenging activity), DPPH radical scavenging activity), total polyphenols, and total flavonoid contents were measured. The research results are as follows. First, as a result of measuring total polyphenols, flavonoids, ABTS, and DPPH of black sesame sulgidduck and the antioxidant activity increased as the amount of black sesame increased. Second, BS-6% showed the highest result in the sensory evaluation result. Based on these research results, it was verified that sulgidduck containing black sesame seeds can be used as a functional food material through the development of various products with not only excellent sensory but also antioxidant activity.

전통의료관광산업의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

서양의료의 한계로 인해 전통의료를 보완대체의료로 인정하려는 제도적 움직임이 확산되고 있어 전통의료개발이 세계의 주된 관심의 대상이 되고 있으며, 여기에 경제성장으로 인한 삶의 질의 변화로 인해 여행이 보편화되면서 전통의료와 여행을 접목시킨 목적형관광이 새로운 유형의 관광유형으로 대두되고 있다. 풍부한 전통의료를 보존 ․ 계승 ․ 발전시키고 있는 국가들은 민 ․ 관차원에서 의료를 관광과 연계하여 고부가가치를 창출하기 위한 전략수립에 진력하고 있다. 하지만, 우리나라는 아직 제도적 차원 에서 전통의료를 관광상품화 하려는 노력이 부족하고, 의료관광에 대한 인식이 낮다. 다행히 최근, 정부는 ‘한의약육성발전계획’ 등을 통해 전통의학의 과학화 ․ 세계화를 달성하려는 노력을 보임으로써 늦게나마 의료관광산업에 관심을 나타내고 있다. 그러나 아직은 경쟁국에 비해 의료관광에 대한 인식이 부족하고 활성화 방안이 구체화되어 있지 못하여 신의료시장 개척에 능동적이지 못하다. 그러므로 문헌고찰, 선행연구 등에 의해 작성된 본 연구를 통해 전통의료관광산업을 활성화하는데 장애가 되고 있는 요소들, 즉 의료관련법의 개정, 그리고 민 ․ 관의 협력체계 구축 등에 관한 방안을 제시하였다. The traditional medicine tourism has a huge effect of economies of scale. The other countries including China, Singapore, Thailand have actively nurtured the traditional medicine tourism into a new growth engine for economic development by creating basic conditions where the each nation's traditional medicine can be marketed with the wave of globalization. The traditional medicine through the efforts of nations attempting to create new market to attract overseas patients has been rapidly changed as a part of prospective fields of trade. However, we have difficulties in entering the global market because of the lack of the public and private concerns on health tourism. So, The Korean traditional medicine system must be reformed to attract health tourists from abroad. In this respect, this study aimes to provide the alternatives on the development of the Korean traditional medicine through basic understanding of health tourism.

위성통신시스템에서 심볼율 추정과 변조 방식 구분법

본 논문은 위성 통신 시스템에서 심볼율에 대한 사전 지식 없이 다양한 심볼율에 대한 심볼율 추정 방법과BPSK, QPSK, 8PSK 신호를 구분하기 위한 간단화된 변조 방식 구분법을 제안했다. 심볼율을 추정하기 위해 신호의 스펙트럼을 추정하기 위한 슬라이딩 FFT와 단순 moving average를 사용하였고, 슬라이딩 윈도우와 decimation, Low pass filter (LPF) 블록을 이용하여 정확한 심볼율을 추정하였다. 기존의 변조 방식 구분법은 test statistics로써 SNR값을 사용하지만 수신기는 통신 시작시에 변조 방식을 알지 못하기 때문에 SNR 값을 추정할 수 없는 문제와 log, cosh과 같은 비선형 함수를 사용하는 기존의 변조 방식 구분법이 비트 resolution이 높은 문제가 있기 때문에 기존의 변조 방식 구분법에 간단화된 고정된 SNR 방법을 제안하였다. 심볼율 추정과 변조 방식 구분법의 성능은 Monte Carlo 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 보여주었고, 심볼율 추정이 낮은 SNR에서도 좋은 성능을 나타내는 것을 볼 수 있었고, 변조 방식 구분법을 간단화 하였지만 기존의 방법과 비교해서 비슷한 성능을 나타내는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. This paper proposed symbol rate method which does not require a priori knowledge on the symbol rate and simplified modulation identification method to classify BPSK, QPSK, 8PSK signal. In order to estimate the unknown symbol rate, sliding FFT and simple moving average to estimate the spectrum of the signals is utilized, and sliding window and decimation, LPF blcok to estimate the proper symbol rate is used. Although conventional modulation ID method must use SNR value as the test statistics, the receiver cannot estimate the SNR value since the receiver cannot know the modulation type at the start of communication, and bit resolution is high due to using nonlinear function such as log, cosh. Therefore, we proposed the simplified fixed SNR value method. The performance of symbol rate estimation and modulation ID is shown using Monte Carlo computer simulation. This paper show that symbol rate estimation also has good performance in low SNR, and proposed simplified fixed SNR method has almost equivalent performance compared to conventional method.
