        Small molecule ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 1 inhibitors in cancer immunotherapy for harnessing innate immunity

        Ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 1 (ENPP1) was recently identified as a major hydrolase of an endogenous stimulator of interferon genes (STING) agonist, 2′,3′-cyclic guanosine monophosphate–adenosine monophosphate (cGAMP). ENPP1 is a promising therapeutic target in cancer immunotherapy, in which the inhibition of ENPP1 enhances anticancer immunity via STING-mediated innate immune activation. This review highlights the role of ENPP1 in innate immunity and the recent discovery of small molecule ENPP1 inhibitors as immunomodulators in cancer immunotherapy.

        119구급대의 스마트의료지도 직무수행능력 영향요인

        Purpose: The present study was conducted to identify the factors influencing the perfromance of the emergency medical technicians (EMTs) utilizing smart advance life support (SALS) and to provide appropriate feedback to improve SALS performance. Methods: The study subjects were recruited from 119 EMT members working in G city participating in SALS project. A total of 155 data were used in the analysis. Results: Of the three areas, the mean score of importance was the highest (4.53±0.48). followed by educational needs (4.24±0.66), and SALS performance (4.08±0.55). Importance was identified as a significant factor influencing SALS performance (β=.187, p<.047).The length of education. work scope. amd role of level 1 EMTs vary significantly depending on the type of qualifications they have as emergency medical professionals, while the supply of level 1 EMTs has already reached a point of saturation. Accordingly, the current regulation on allowing level 2 EMTs with at least three years of experience to take the level 1 EMT test presents serious inequity for students just graduating from their emergency medical services program. It is also a factor that degrades the professionalism of level 1 EMTs. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it was found that mediation and education programs need to be implemented to highlight the importance of the tasks performed in SALS situations in order to improve performance.

        팔로워십 유형화 및 각 유형별 특성 분석

        Based on my previous study of proposing new followership concept which is composed of seven factors and literature review about followership, this study investigated some research problems as followings: Research Problem1. Identifying followership types based on factor scores of seven followership dimensions. Research Problem2. Comparing the levels of seven followership factors among identified followership types. Research Problem3. Identifying demographic characteristics of each followership type. Research Problem4. Predicting the job satisfaction by identified followership types. Research Problem5. Predicting the affective organizational commitment by identified followership types. The seven followership factors extracting from previous study were ‘active and responsible performance’, ‘symbiotic comradeship’, ‘job commitment’, ‘ethics and integrity’, ‘organizational rule conformance’, ‘job competency’, and ‘sincerity’. By using cluster analysis which is based on the factor scores, the respondents were categorized into four types of followership. Those four types are ‘a man of self-assertion(Type 1)’, ‘truepenny without commitment(Type 2)’, ‘insincere conformist(Type 3)’, and ‘cooperative activist(Type 4)’. Cooperative activist type occupies the largest portion of 41.1% and insincere conformist type is the second largest type with 24.5%. Truepenny without commitment is 17.5% and a man of self-assertion type is 16.9%. Based on post-hoc analysis of ANOVA, some meaningful differences among four followership types for each followership factor were found out as followings.*** For ‘active and responsible performance’ factor, Type 1(b), Type 2(c), Type 3(b), Type 4(a) For ‘symbiotic comradeship’ factor, Type 1(c), Type 2(b), Type 3(b), Type 4(a) For ‘job commitment’ factor, Type 1(a), Type 2(b), Type 3(a), Type 4(a) For ‘ethics and integrity’ factor, Type 1(bc), Type 2(c), Type 3(ab), Type 4(a) For ‘organizational rule conformance’ factor, Type 1(d), Type 2(b), Type 3(a), Type 4(c) For ‘job competency’ factor, Type 1(ab), Type 2(ab), Type 3(b), Type 4(a) For ‘sincerity’ factor, Type 1(c), Type 2(a), Type 3(d), Type 4(b) Some differences of demographic composition were also found out among four followership types. For gender, level of education, and occupational group, no differences were found out among followership types. For age, the portion of 40s or higher is highest in type 4 while 20s and 30s are highest in type 2. For position****, each followership type shows different aspects as followings. For type 1, the portion of lowest position(27.0%) and the portion of highest position(27.0%) among 5 positional categories occupy the majority. For type 2, the portion of lowest position(29.2%) and the portion of second lowest position(24.6%) occupy the majority. Type 3 is mainly composed of middle positions including manager and senior manager(51.6%). The positional composition of type 4 is most evenly distributed among all types with 4 out of 5 positions occupies around 21% ~ 24% each. For years of employment(including previous career in other companies), each followership type shows different aspects as followings. For type 1 and 3, the portion is evenly distributed compared to other 2 types. For type 2, the portion of 10 years or less occupies 67.7%. For type 4, the portion of 16 years or higher is the majority with 35.3%. Through the analysis of multiple regressions with 7 factor scores as independent variables predicting criterion variables of job satisfaction and affective organizational commitment, the majority of factors are found to significantly explain the two criterion variables. Based on another multiple regression analysis which put 4 followership types with dummy variable type as independent variables, type 4 is found to be significantly satisfied with their jobs and more affectively committed with their organizations co... 본 연구는 저자가 한국 기업 구성원들의 특성을 고려하여 팔로워십의 구성요소로서 주도적 책임수행, 상생, 직무열의, 진정성, 조직제도 순응, 업무능력, 성실성 등의 일곱 개 요인들을 규명했던 연구를 발전시켜 동 데이터를 활용한 추가적인 분석을 통해 팔로워십의 유형화를 시도한 연구이다. 즉, 팔로워십의 일곱 개 요인점수를 활용한 군집분석을 통해 팔로워십의 주요 유형을 도출하였고, 도출된 팔로워십 유형들의 특성을 규명하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 군집분석을 통해 도출된 팔로워십의 유형은 독불장군형, 타성적 성실형, 불성실한 순응형, 협력적 조직주도형 등의 네 가지이다ㅏ. 두 번째로, 도출된 팔로워십 유형들간에 각 팔로워십 요인들의 수준에 있어서 유의한 차이가 있는지를 일원분산분석을 통해 확인하였다. 분석 결과 협력적 조직주도형이 타 유형들 대비 주도적 책임수행 역량이 유의하게 높은 수준으로 나타났으며, 기타 역량들도 유형간에 다양한 차별적 양상이 나타났다. 세 번째로, 도출된 네 가지 팔로워십 유형과 응답자들의 인구통계적 특성간의 독립성 검증을 실시한 결과 연령, 직급, 근속연수 등에서 유의한 결과가 나타났다. 네 번째로, 각 팔로워십 유형별로 직무만족과 정서적 조직몰입의 수준에 유의한 차이가 있는지를 다중회귀분석을 통해 검증하였다. 분석 결과 협력적 조직주도형이 타 유형들 대비 직무만족에 대한 영향이 강하게 나타났다. 정서적 조직몰입의 경우에는 협력적 조직주도형과 불성실한 순응형이 나머지 두 가지 유형들보다 강한 영향이 나타났다. 상기의 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의, 시사점, 한계, 그리고 향후 연구방향 등을 제시하였다.

      • 신장-반사 운동이 비만청소년들의 근 기능과 체력에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 6주간 비만청소년에게 플라이오메트릭 트레이닝이 신체구성, 기초체력, 근 기능에서 근력(60。/sec)과 근 파워(180。/sec)에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 규명하고자 실시하였다. 본 연구는 강원도 C시에 거주중인 비만 청소년들(n=10)을 대상으로 선정하였다. 피실험자들 에게 6주간 주 3회, 회당 50분(준비운동, 정리운동 10분포함)의 플라이오메트릭 트레이닝 프로그램을 실시하였다. 운동의 강도는 칼로리를 이용 하여 조절하였으며, 주차별로 강도를 다르게 하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 26.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 운동 프로그램 전과 후의 차이를 대응 t-test를 이용하여 검증하였다. 통계적 유의수준은 ɑ=.05로 설정하였다. 플라이오메트릭 트레이닝을 운동을 6주간 진행한 후 신체구성의 신장, 골격근량, 체중에서 통계적으로 유의한 증가를 볼 수 있었으며, 기초체력의 근력, 근지구력, 유연성, 순발력, 협응력, 심폐지구력에서 통계적으로 유의하지 않지만 증가하는 경향을 볼 수 있었다. 또한 근 기능 평가에서 오른쪽 무릎 관절의 폄, 굽힘의 근력, 근 파워와 왼쪽 무릎 관절의 굽힘 근력 그리고 폄, 굽힘의 근력과 근 파워에서 통계적으로 유의하지 않지만 증가하는 경향을 볼 수 있었다. 결론적으로 6주간의 플라이오메트릭 운동이 비만청소년들의 신체구성과 더불어 기초체력과 근 기능의 결과에서 증가하는 경향을 보였기 때문에 비만청소년에게 효과가 있는 것으로 판단된다. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of plyometric training on muscle strength (60˚/sec) and muscle power (180˚/sec) in body composition, physical fitness, and muscle function in obese adolescents for 6 weeks. For this study, obese childrens (n=10) living in C city of Kangwon-do were selected. A plyometric training program of 50 minutes per session (including 10 minutes of warm-up and cool-down exercises) was administered to the subjects 3 times a week for 6 weeks. The intensity of the exercise was controlled using calories, and the intensity was different for each week. For data processing, the difference between before and after the exercise program was verified using the T-test using the SPSS 26.0 statistical program. The statistical significance level was set to ɑ=.05. After 6 weeks of plyometric training, there was a statistically significant increase in height, skeletal muscle mass, and weight of body composition, and statistically significant increases in strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, quickness, coordination, and cardiorespiratory endurance of physical fitness was not significant, but an increasing trend was observed. Also, in the evaluation of muscular function, the right knee extension and flexion strength, muscle power and left knee flexion strength, and extension and flexion strength and muscle power showed a statistically insignificant but increased trend. In conclusion, it is judged that 6 weeks of plyometric exercise is effective for obese childrens because it showed a tendency to increase in the results of physical fitness and muscular function as well as the body composition of obese childrens.

        변혁적 리더십이 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향: 분배, 절차, 상호작용 공정성의 매개효과 고려

        This study investigated the influence of transformational leadership on the employees’ perception of subjective career success. Also, mediating effect of organizational justice has been verified through mediation analysis between transformational leadership and subjective career success. Organizational justice can be divided into three closely related but conceptually and statistically discrete dimensions. They are distributed justice, procedural justice and interactional justice. For these three types organizational justice, many studies support similar but different influences on many organizational variables. Accordingly, this study investigated each mediating effect of these three dimensions between transformational leadership and subjective career success. Based on literature review about the variables in the research model, hypotheses were derived as followings: H1. Transformational leadership will positively affect subjective career success. H2. Transformational leadership will positively affect organizational justice. H2-1. Transformational leadership will positively affect distributive justice. H2-2. Transformational leadership will positively affect procedural justice. H2-3. Transformational leadership will positively affect interactional justice. H3. Organizational justice will positively affect subjective career success. H3-1. Distributive justice will positively affect subjective career success. H3-2. Procedural justice will positively affect subjective career success. H3-3. Interactional justice will positively affect subjective career success. H4. Organizational justice will mediate the effect from transformational leadership to subjective career success. H4-1. Distributive justice will mediate the effect from transformational leadership to subjective career success. H4-2. Procedural justice will mediate the effect from transformational leadership to subjective career success. H4-3. Interactional justice will mediate the effect from transformational leadership to subjective career success. The data was collected by web-based survey from employees who are with several Korean companies located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do province. The analysis showed positive significant correlation among transformational leadership, subjective career success, distributed justice, procedural justice and interactional justice. Mediation analysis supported significant mediating effects for distributive and procedural justice. For interactional justice, however, mediating effect was just marginally (p < .10) supported by Sobel Test and rejected by Bootstrapping Test. For the purpose of pursuing more robust research, mediating effect of interactional justice was rejected. Based on the results of the analysis, implications, limitations and suggestions for future research were discussed. 본 연구는 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 구성원들의 주관적 경력성공 지각에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보았다. 또한 조직공정성의 세 가지 하위 유형이 변혁적 리더십과 주관적 경력성공간의 관계를 매개하는지에 대한 검증도 이루어졌다. 조직공정성은 분배공정성, 절차공정성, 상호작용공정성 등의 세 가지 하위 차원으로 구성되는데, 이들은 상위 차원의 조직공정성을 구축하면서도 각 개념간의 변별타당성과 주요 조직 관련 변인에 대한 차별적인 영향력이 지지되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 조직공정성에 미치는 영향을각 하위 차원별로 검증하였다. 연구 결과 변혁적 리더십, 주관적 경력성공, 분배공정성, 절차공정성, 상호작용공정성 상호간에 모두 정(+)의 상관관계가 나타났다. 위계적 회귀분석을 통한 매개효과 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 분배공정성과 절차공정성은 변혁적 리더십이 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향을 유의하게 완전매개 하는것으로 나타났다. 반면, 상호작용공정성은 검증 방법에 따라 제한적(p < .10) 지지와 기각의 혼합된 결과가 나타났다. 보다 엄격한 검증을 추구하는 의미에서 변혁적 리더십이 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향을 매개하는상호작용공정성의 효과는 기각되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 이론적 의의와 실무적 시사점, 제한점, 그리고 추후 연구방향에 대하여 논하였다.

        침대 형태에서 기능성 직물 전도성 전극 위치에 대한 심전도 측정 방법의 Pilot Test

        Electrodes are one of the types of biosensors capable of measuring bio signals, such as electrocardiogram (ECG) and electromyogram (EMG) signals. These electrodes are used in various fields and offer the advantage of being able to measure ECG signals without the need for skin attachment, compared to Ag/AgCl electrodes. The pur- pose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of conductive textile electrodes in collecting ECG signals in a bed- like environment. Three adult participants were involved, and a total of 30 minutes of ECG signals were collected for each participant. The collected ECG signals were analyzed to determine the heart rate, normLF and a comparison was made between the conductive textile electrodes and Ag/AgCl electrodes. As a result, the change in heart rate and normLF could be observed, and in particular, the difference between the two electrodes decreased. This study confirmed that conductive textile electrodes can effectively collect ECG signals in a bed-like environment. It is hoped that this research will lead to the development of a system that can detect various sleep-related diseases through the use of these electrodes.
