        12세 아동의 우식경험영구치 Significant Caries(SiC) Index에 대한 조사 연구

        Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the significant(SiC) index of the 12 year old children`s permanent teeth caries experience. A total of 428 children aged 12 years old were recruited from metropolitan city(215 children) and rural area(213 children) in this study. SiC index was obtained from DMFT index. Data were analyzed by gender, region, and DMFT. Methods: DMFT index and Sic index were analyzed and compared by pit and sealant fissure treatment, dental caries, gender, and areas. A total of 428 children aged 12 years old were recruited from metropolitan city(215 children) and rural area(213 children) in this study. Results: Boy students(6.73) tended to have a higher SiC index than girl students(7.84). There were significant differences(p<0.05). DMFT index in urban area was 2.59, and that in rural area was 3.35. In SiC index, rural children showed a higher index(7.77) than urban children(6.72).There existed a significance between DMFT index and SiC index(p<0.05). Conclusions: It is important to educate and to develop the oral disease prevention program for the high risk group children. This study showed the relationship between DMFT index and SiC index in 12 year old children in urban and rural areas.

        소아환자 치과진료 시 행동유도법 적용에 대한 보호자와 치과종사자의 인식도 조사

        Objectives: The purpose is to establish positive relationships between pediatric patients, their guardians, and dental workers by investigating behavioral induction methods used in pediatric treatment and to encourage active cooperation during dental treatment of pediatric patients, leading to successful treatment. Methods: From March 2023 to September 2023, general hospitals, dental hospitals, and dental clinics were randomly selected and a survey was conducted on guardians of pediatric patients and dental workers, and a total of 154 copies were used in the final analysis. Results: The difference in perception of physical restraint as a behavioral induction method was that 49 people (65.3%) perceived that guardians could only allow physical methods that would not put them in dangerous situations, while dental workers could only accept physical methods that would not put them in dangerous situations. Only 41 people (51.9%) could allow it. Conclusions: In the clinic, a positive relationship must be maintained between dentists, patients, and guardians, and effective behavioral induction methods must be applied to maximize the efficiency of pediatric dental care.

      • 방과후 학교체육활동의 만족정도에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this research was to investigate the present conditions of the school gymnastic activities after class by inquiries conducted to instructors(teachers and preofessional trainers from the outside) and student, and to identify factors influencinf their satisfaction with and the management of them to ultimately provide basic data for making plans for satisfactory after-class school gymnastic activities to both the teacher and student. The subjects were 397 students and 96 instructors (including both teachers and professional trainers) in 24 coeducational middle schools randomly sampled among those schools located in Seoul and Kyong-gi province and which carried out after-class school gymnastic activities. For analyzing data statistically, frequency analysis and factor analysis were used. And the results from this research can be summarized as follow : 1. The present conditions of the school gymnastic activities after class, 92.7% or the teachers and 85.6% of the students answerd those activities were necessary. The items for participation were chosen in accordance with the student's aptitude and interest. The items being executed were 2 or 3 in average, and 85.5% of the instructors in charge said that they had no experience of receivinf in-service training. 2. The degree of satisfaction with the environments around the school gymnastic activities after class. As for the school gymnastic facilities, 83.9% the instructors and 77.0% of the students showed dissatisfaction, and in regard to gymnastic goods 89.2% of the instructors and 76.5% of the students showed dissatisfaction, And 81.6% or the instructors were dissatisfied with the financial support. 3. The degree of satisfaction with the school gymnastic activities after class. As for the school's concern for the gymnastic activities class, 69.3% of the instuctors and 71.3% or the students showed dissatisfaction, and the degree of dissatisfaction shown by two groups was much higher with the programs and frequency. 4. The degree of saticfaction with the management of the school gymnastic activities after class. As for the management system for the school gymnastic activities after class, 56.3% of the instuctors and 52.4% of the students showed dissatisfaction, and all instructors and students were dissatisfied with their educational achievements and learning materials. 5. Obstructive factors in managing the school gymnastic activities after class. The most obstructive factor was revealed to be the school's administrative indiffrence and lack of facilities, which was pointed loy 77.1% of the instructors and 49.2% of the students. Consequently speaking, both instructors and students admitted the necessity of the school gymnastic activities after class but they were generally dissatisfied with the facilities, aiding goods, school's concern, and the education for instructors. Therefore, the school and educational authorities should develop educational materials further and supplement financial support to manage the school gymnastic activities after class effectively to extend students' aptitude and interest through active participation in them.
