본 논문에서는 동일한 평균 전력을 가지며 주파수 비선택적 느린 나카가미 m-분포의 페이딩을 겪는 MPSK 신호들에 대한 다수의 다이버시티 가지 중 크기가 센 두세개의 신호를 순서대로 선택하고 합성하는 일반화된 선택성 합성 기법에 대한 평균 심벌 오류 확률식을 유도한다. 오류 확률식을 유도하기 위해 순서 통계량(Order Statistics)의 개념을 적용한다. 유도 과정에서 수신 신호의 확률 밀도 함수에 대한 새로운 전개가 소개되고 있으며, 다양한 수학적 기법들을 사용한다. 기존의 선택적 합성과 최대비 함성 기법과의 성능을 비교하여 적절한 다이버시티 가짓수를 찾는다. In this paper, a new closed form expression for the average symbol error rate(SER) of generalized selection combining(SC), whereby the two(three) signals with the two(three) largest amplitudes are combined from the original diversity branches in the channel, for MPSK signals in a frequency-nonselective slowly m-distributed Nakagami fading channel is derived. In order to analyze the error performance for a generalized SC, the Order-Statistics is applied. To derive the SER of MPSK signals with SC, the new expression of pdf is introduced and many other mathematical methods are used. Comparing the derived SER with that of MRC, we find adequate diversity branch number from total Lth-order diversity branches.

We studied the mechanism of arachidonic acid on the secretion of a neurotransmitter in rat pheochromocytoma PC12 cells. Arachidonic acid inhibited the 70 mM $K^+$-induced secretion of norepinephrine. Arachidonic acid also inhibited the 70 mM $K^+$-induced $Ca^{2+}$ mobilization which is due to the opening of the voltage-sensitive $Ca^{2+}$ channels (VSCC). Both the half maximal inhibitory concentration ($IC_{50}$) of the norepinephrine secretion and VSCC coincided at 30 uM. The major oxidized metabolites of arachidonic acid, prostaglandins did not mimic the inhibitory effect of arachidonic acid. Nordihydroguaiaretic acid (NDGA) and indomethacin which are inhibitors of lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase, respectively, did not block the inhibitory effect of arachidonic acid. The results suggest that arachidonic acid serves as a signal itself, not in the form of metabolites. The pretreatment of various $K^+$ channel blockers such as 4-aminopyridine, tetraethylarnmonium, glipizide, or glibenclamide also did not show any effect on the inhibitory effect of arachidonic acid. Through these results we suggest that arachidonic acid regulates VSCC directly and affects the secretion of neurotransmitters.

The purpose of this study is to present the basic data that can be used for the optimal planning with genetic algorithm considering the support cost and gas energy consumption for heating by major unit improvement items such as insulation, windows, and infiltration in the energy efficiency improvement projects of low income housing. As a result, these findings in this study will contribute to the reduction of national greenhouse gas emissions as well as the improvement of the thermal comfort of low-income housing.
베이비붐세대의 부양의식에 미치는 영향 : 노인 이미지와 친밀감 중심으로

This study examines the awareness of supporting the elderly among the baby-boom generation, in relation to their image of the elderly, and whether the degree of intimacy plays a role in affecting their awareness. To collect the data, the author surveyed 243 people from the baby-boom generation who are living in either Gyeonggi, or Chungnam Province with a questionnaire that asked about sociodemographic factors, their awareness of supporting the elderly, their level of intimacy, and their image of the elderly. To analyze the data, SPSS v.23 and AMOS v.21 were implemented. The results of the study varied from each other based on the three different types of awareness of supporting the elderly: economic, emotional, and physical. First, when it comes to the economic awareness of supporting the elderly, this study demonstrated that the participant`s level of education, marriage status, and monthly income show a positive relationship. Second, when it comes to the emotional awareness of supporting the elderly, both the participant`s gender, and hometown location turned out to play a significant role. Third, the physical awareness of supporting the elderly indicated that the participant`s marriage status, hometown location, and birth order were important. Meanwhile, the use of structure equation modeling analysis showed that higher intimacy has a positive relationship with an elevated awareness of supporting the elderly. The implications of the research, which deal with the analysis of the factors, which are assumed to affect the awareness of supporting the elderly among the baby-boom generation, can be critical in constituting a policy/law to support the elderly in our society.

N/A In this study, double bond, unsaturated group was introduced to the main chain of EVA by chemically treating EVA, nondiene polymer. Benzene sulfonic acid, ENB and DCPD were used as a third element. Also, from blending CR and SBR, conventional synthetic rubber we prepared vulcanizates and examined their physical properties. The datum lead to the following conclusion that some problems were modified; limited temperature in use and mechanical properties like hardness, tensile strength, tensile stress, and elongation rate of thermoplastic EVA, keeping the following advantages of original EVA; green strength, injection molding by pressure, adhesion, tackiness, dimensional stability, and ozone resistance, etc. It is expected that continuous research of the modification between nondiene and dime polymer will improve what were shown disadvantages in synthetic polymer; processing, oxidation resistance, and adhesion. In addition, it will be possible to continue process of rubber products by utilizing possible fluidity for fusion of EVA.
냉장고 사이클의 LCCP(Life Cycle Climate Performance) 평가

In order to prevent climate change such as global warming, greenhouse gas reduction is important and various efforts are made throughout the economy. LCCP (Life Cycle Climate Performance) was developed to evaluate the environmental impact of the refrigeration and air conditioning system. The LCCP consists of Direct emissions which are related to refrigerants and Indirect emissions which are from other factors besides refrigerants. From this point of view, the largest share of CO2 emissions are from energy consumption. In this study, LCCP evaluation for various cycles was carried out based on 800 liters refrigerator which is widely used as domestic refrigerator. In the refrigerator cycles using two evaporators, there are Serial circuit cycle, Bypass circuit cycle and Parallel circuit cycle according to the connection method of the evaporators. Parallel circuit cycle reduces CO2 emissions by 23% than baseline cycle.

About 80% of Bladder cancer is non muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). Despite of appropriate therapy, a lot of NMIBC recur as a superficial tumor or progress to muscle invasive disease. Several studies about prognostic factors of recurrence and progression have reported a single risk factor variously according to each study. These efforts were developed to predict the risk by scoring system and large-scale studies had been conducted. These studies had limitations that their patients did not receive BCG (bacillus Calmette-Guerin) immunotherapy, immediate intravesical chemotherapy, second-look TUR (transurethral resection) in high-risk group. Through studies to date, patients with NMIBC have showed heterogenous prognosis and a more sophisticated scoring system can give personalized treatment and exact prediction.
