Purpose: Medial capsulorrhaphy is additional hallux reduction method following various hallux reduction procedures and we are going to report author's opinion about several methods of medial capsulorrhaphy. Materials and Methods: We performed three kinds of medial capsulotomy and imbricatory capsulorrhaphy in hallux valgus surgery. Through 8 cadavar study, we compared the easiness of sesamoid reduction and hallux valgus angle reduction. Also, we measured thickness of capsule in various portions. Results: Longitudinal capsule incision and imbrication was useful in sesamoid reduction and vertical procedures was useful in hallux valgus angle reduction. The capsule thickness was measured thickest in dorsal and distal portioin. Conclusion: The methods of medial capsulorrhaphy should be planned preoperatively considering individual hallux deformities. These selected medial capsulorrhaphy can help the reduction of hallux valgus deformity correction and its maintenance.

본 논문은 지상파 DMB 자동재난경보방송을 위한 서비스 모델, 전송 채널, 서비스 시그널링의 설계에 대해 기술한다. 우선 본 논문의 설계와 관련한 지상파 DMB 방송 기술 및 표준을 분석한다. 다음으로 일반적인 DMB 서비스와의 재난경보방송 서비스의 차이점에 대해 기술하고, 기존의 서비스 모델에 재난경보방송 서비스를 적용할 경우 발생하는 문제점을 파악한다. 본 논문에서는 공통 서비스라는 새로운 개념을 제안하여 재난경보방송 서비스 모델을 설계한다. 다음으로 재난정보를 전송하기 위한 전송 채널을 선택한다. 문자를 기반으로 하는 핵심적 내용의 메시지와 이를 보완하는 멀티미디어 추가정보로 재난정보를 구분하여 각각을 위한 전송채널을 선택한다. 메시지 전송을 위해 FIDC를 사용하는 EWS (FIG 5/2)를 선택하고, 추가정보는 MSC를 사용하는 모든 채널을 사용할 수 있도록 제안한다. 마지막으로, 이러한 공통 서비스와 전송 채널을 수신기에 알리기 위한 시그널링 방법을 설계한다. MCI를 사용할 경우의 발생하는 문제점을 파악하여 이를 해결할 수 있는 새로운 시그널링 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문의 내용은 추후 타 디지털 방송매체를 위한 재난경보방송 시스템 및 표준 설계에 활용할 수 있을 것이다. This paper presents the design of service model, transport channel, and service signaling for the Terrestrial DMB Automatic Emergency Alert Service (AEAS) Standard. The paper begins with the analysis of technical backgrounds related to the design topics. Next, the paper presents the design of service model for the AEAS. Since, unlike the regular T-DMB services, the AEAS is event-driven and common to all services, some problems have been identified to design a service model conforming to the T-DMB standard. So, the paper proposes a new concept, called the common service, and the AEAS is modeled using the common service. Next, in order to decide the transport channel for the alert information, the paper proposes to divide the alert information into the message which contains code/text-based essential information, and the supplemental multimedia information. Then, the paper tries to find the most efficient transport channels. Emergency Warning Service (EWS) which uses FIG 5/2 is selected for the delivery of the message. The paper proposes no constraints on delivery of supplemental information except that it shall use the MSC. Finally, it proposes the service signaling for the common service and transport channel. Due to the problems of conventional signaling using the MCI, it proposes a new signaling method. The paper will contribute as a guideline to the development for emergency alert service standards for other broadcasting media.

This paper uses the conditional VaR to derive the optimal portfolio investment weight of the bond, which is the main investment target of special account of the mutual finance of National Agricultural Cooperative Federation(NACF). Also, this paper compares the optimum portfolio weights of the mean-variance model and the conditional VaR model. Based on the derived results, we confirm whether the predicted return distribution is close to the normal distribution or not. In this study, the Bayesian approach is applied to estimate the posterior predictive distribution. The Bayesian method can easily reflect uncertainties in parameters and models. A vector-autoregressive model was used to estimate the posterior predictive distribution using the Bayesian method. For an empirical application, we use data on daily returns for government bond, industrial financial debentures, corporate bonds. When the Bayesian method is used to estimate the posterior predictive distribution, the results of the two models are derived similarly. Also, we find that the optimal investment weights vary depending on the target return rates.

Fretting damage can be observed in automobile and railway vehicle, fossil and nuclear power plant, aircraft etc. In the present study, railway axle material RSA1 used for evaluation of fretting fatigue life. Plain and fretting fatigue tests were carried out using rotary bending fatigue tester with proving ring and bridge type contact pad. Through these test, the following results are obtained: 1) it is found that the fretting fatigue limit of standard specimen decreased about 37% compared to the plain fatigue limit. 2) The early crack of Shinkansen type specimens initiated in contact area and final fractured below σamp=214 ㎫. 3) The early crack of all TGV type specimens initiated in rounded area and fractured. 4) Tire tracks and rubbed scars were observed in the oblique crack region and fatigue crack growth region of fracture surface. 5) The wear debris is observed on the contact surface, and oblique cracks at an earlier stage are initiated in contact area. These results can be used as useful data in a structural integrity evaluation of railway axle.

Directed energy deposition (DED) was adopted as a metal additive manufacturing method to develop a mold for the hot stamping process. The test piece was machined from Heatvar laminate material, and results were obtained through microstructure and defect observations, as well as hardness, tensile strength, and joint strength tests. 1) Spherical pores and irregular-shaped cavities were observed as lamination defects, and columnar dendrites formed in the structure, which tended to become coarse upon heat treatment. 2) The hardness of the heat-treated material (480HV) was slightly lower than that of the non-heat-treated material (500HV). 3) In the tensile test, the maximum tensile stress and strain of the heat-treated material were 1392 MPa and 15%, respectively, which were slightly higher than the values of 1381 MPa and 13%, respectively, for the non-heat-treated material. 4) In the case of the early final fracture in the tensile test, in most cases, pores or irregularly shaped cavities were observed at the fracture surface or near the surface. 5) In the joint strength test, most of the specimens finally fractured in the laminated metal area, and the fracture surface was intragranular. In addition, dimples formed over the entire area on the fracture surface of the fractured specimen after sufficient elongation.

천추 신경초 낭종(sacral perineural cyst)은 척수 경막 내 신경근의 지주막(arachnoid membrane)으로 구성된 낭종으로서 Tarlov 등에 의해 최초로 보고되었다. 저자들은 요통 및 하지 방사통을 호소하였던 환자에게서 시행한 자기 공명 영상에서 천추 신경초 낭종을 우연히 발견하여 광범위 후방 감압술 및 낭종 절제술을 시행하였다. 추시 관찰상 임상증상이 호전되었기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. A sacral perineural cyst is composed of an arachnoid membrane of the nerve root at the sacral region. We performed a wide posterior decompression and cystectomy in a patient who suffered from back pain with pain radiating in both lower extremities, and whose MRI findings coincided with those of a sacral perineural cyst. Clinical improvement was observed during the follow-up review. We report the surgical treatment with a review of the relevant literature.
