        조기 재배시 감자의 비닐 피복 재배 연구

        Appropriate soil temperature and early planting of potato is very important for the successful potato-soybean cropping system in central region of South Korea. This experiment was carried out to determine the effect of mulching materials on the growth and yield of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.). Five different mulch treatments were had been applied on an upland soil as follows ; no mulch (NM), transparent film (TF), transparent film + additional transparent film (TF + ATF), black film (BF), and black film + additional transparent film (ATF). In the period of sowing time to removing additional films, mean soil temperature of the treatments was in the order of TF+ATF > TF > BR+ATF > BF as 20.3°C > 18.5°C > 16.1°C > 15.4°C, respectively and that of NM was 13.8°C. The accumulated soil temperature was TF > NM > BF during the removing additional films to earthing at inter-tillage. On the changes in the soil temperature during a whole day, the temperature in the BF was lower than NM during around 18:00 PM to 12:00 NM, while NM was higher than BF in the time period of 10:00AM to 21:00PM. The sequence of potato sprout emergence was 15 > 18 > 20 > 22 days of TF+ATF, TF, BF+ATF, and BF, respectively and that of NM was 24 days. Comparing to the NM, potato sprout emergence was observed on the TF+ATF treated plot as early as 9 days. At 10 days before harvest, the significant difference in the tuber dry weight had been observed and the sequence tuber weight was in the order of TF > TF+ATF > BF+ATF > BF > NM. The potato yields of TF, TF+ATF, and BF+ATF were increased of 40.7, 37.3, and 22% as compared to NM (2,805 kg 10a-1), but almost same yield in the BF. The differences of tuber dry weight and potato yields was co-related with the temperature rise of soil by the application of mulching materials on soil. Based on these results, application of mulching film had been very effective to increase the tuber size and the yield of potato by the temperature rise during seedling stage of potato. Transparent mulching was better than black mulching especially for the emergence of sprout of potato in relation to minimizing cooling injury. 중부지역에서 감자와 콩의 안전다수확 작부체계를 위해서는전작물인 봄감자의 조기 파종과 초기생육을 위한 적정 토양 온도의 확보가 결정인으로 작용한다. 따라서 본 실험은 비닐피복의 종류별 지온상승효과와 이에 따른 감자의 생육과 수량에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 봄감자 초기생육기간인 파종부터 덧 필름 제거 시까지 처리구별 평균지온은 무피복구(NM) 13.8℃에 비하여 투명필름+덧 필름 > 투명필름 > 흑색필름+덧필름 > 흑색필름 순으로 각각 20.3℃ > 18.5℃ > 16.1℃ > 14.5℃ 높았다. 일중 시간대별 온도변화를 보면, 기온이 낮은 오후 6∼ 9시부터 익일 오전 11∼12시까지는 BF의 지온이 NM보다 낮았던 반면, 기온이 높은 오전 10∼12시부터 오후 6∼9시까지는NM의 지온이 BF의 지온보다 높았다. 감자 싹의 지상부 출현은TF+ATF > TF > BF+ATF > BF 순으로 각각 15일 > 18일 > 20일> 22일 빨랐으며, TF+ATF 처리구의 경우 무처리구(NM) 24일에 비하여 무려 9일 이나 빨리 감자 싹이 출현되었다. 수확 10일전 처리구간 감자 지하부 건물중 차이는 TF > TF+ATF > BF+ATF > BF > NM 순이었으며, 통계적으로 유의성 있게 높았다. 이는 처리구별 지온상승효과와 거의 일치하였다. 감자 수량은 대조구인 NM 처리의 2,805 kg 10a-1 비하여 TF에서 41%, TF+ATF 처리는 37% 및 BF+ATF 처리는 2% 증수되었고, BF 처리는 유사하였다. 본 실험은 비닐피복으로 지온을 높여 생육을 증진시키고자 하는데 목표가 있었다. 본 실험의 결과 봄감자안전다수확 재배를 위해서는 생육초기 지온상승과 생육촉진효과가 높고 조기파종과 출현을 촉진하여 보다 긴 생육기간을 확보 할 수 있는 투명필름 피복이 효과적이고, 덧 필름 피복은 기상조건에 따라 경제성을 고려하여 선택을 하는 것이 좋은 것으로 판단되어진다.

      • CMV감염에 의한 Infection-Associated Hemophagocytic Syndrome 1예

        저자들은 임상과 혈액검사에서 CMV monoucleosis로 진단된 21세 남자환자에서 골수검사상 적혈구를 탐식하는 조직구의 증식으로 보아 CMV가 그 원인으로 추정되는 IAHS 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. The 21-year-old male patient complained of high fever, chills, severe malaise, myalgia, and gingival bleeding for 10 days. The patient presented pancytopenia and hepatosplenomegaly. We examined peripheral blood smear, bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, serologic tests for antibodies on cytomegalovirus(CMV), platelet and heterophil, and upper abdominal ultrasonography. There were pancytiopenia and peripheral lymphocytosis with atypical lymphocytes in the peripheral blood smear and histocytes phagocytosing red blood cells in the bone marrow examination. The CMV-specific IgM antibody was positive. The antibodies for platelet and heterophil were absent. We diagnosed as Infection-Associated Hemophagocytic Syndrome (IAHS) due to CMV for the patient. Therefore, we report a case of IAHS associated with CMV mononucleosis with a brief review of literature.

        한국인 산모와 신생아에서 NANB 간염과 B 형 간염에 관한 연구

        N/A To assess the frequency of hepatitis in pregnant women, we examined the findings of the physical examination, medical history, liver function tests and viral markers in 7,580 pregnant women who delivered at St. Columbans Hospital in Mokpo City from April 1st, 1985 to June 30th, 1988. We compared the characteristics of hepatitis B in 28 mothers and 17 newborn infants, and of non-A, non-B hepatitis in 17 mothers and 61 newborn infants, The results were as follows; 1) Among 7,580 pregnant women, there were 629 cases (8.30%) of HBV carriers. Abnormal elevation of transaminase at delivery was noted in cases of hepatitis A (2, 0.03%), hepatitis B (25, 0. 33%), NANB hepatitis (57, 0.75%) toxemia (9, 0.12%) and drug induced hepatitis (1, 0,01%). 2) The earliest elevation of transaminase was noted at 3 months in 9 hepatitis B infants (6, 66.7%) and 61 NANB hepatitis infants (57, 93.4%). The highest elevation of transaminase was noted at 3 months in 61 NANB hepatitis infants (41, 67. 2%) and seemed to be delayed in 9 hepatitis B infants due to the effect of vaccine. 3) Abnormal transaminase was normal within 6 months in 17 cases (60.7%) of 28 mothers with hepatitis B, and 14 cases (82.4%) of 17 mothers with NANB hepatitis. If we test and observe for )onger time the cases of chronic hepatitis with intermittent elevation of transaminase may increase more. Twenty-seven of 28 hepatitis B mothers were positive for HBsAg for more than 1 year. Duration of abnormal transaminase in hepatitis B infants was much different by the vaccination, but total number of cases was very small. Among 61 NANB hepatitis infants, continuous elevation of transaminase was noted in 5(62.5%) of 8 infants who had no imrnunoprophylaxis, 19(55.9%) of 34 infants who received HBIG & Hepavax, 5(26.3%) of 19 infants who received gamma-globulin. There was slight but not significant inhibition of persistence of abnormal transaminase in group of gamma-globulin injection (0.05<p<0.1). The mean level of maximal ALT was higher in hepatitis B (148.32+162.47 IU) than in NANB hepatitis mothers (76.53<53.14 IU). It was similar in infants of both hepatitis B & NANB, and lower in infants who received Hepavax, gamma-globulin but it was not statistically significant. 4) Among the factors which may influence the elevation of ALT in hepatitis infants the level of ALT in hepatitis mothers had no influence. The immunoprophylaxis with HBIG & hepavax for hepatitis B infants, gamma-globulin for NANB hepatitis seemed to inhibit the elevation of ALT in infants, but not signficantly. ALT was normal in 5 infants (23.8%) of 21 HBeAg positive hepatitis B mothers and in 6 infants (85.7%) of 7 HBeAg negative hepatitis B mothers. There was significant elevation of ALT in infants of HBeAg positive hepatitis B mothers (p<0.0001). The results suggest that the prevalence of NANB hepatitis was higher than hepatitis B in Korean pregnant women at the time of delivery. Duration of abnormal transaminase was similar in mothers with hepatitis B and NANB. The time of the earliest and highest elevation of ALT, the mean level of maximal elevation of ALT were similar in infants with hepatitis B and NANB. Duration of abnormal transaminase and maximal elevation of ALT seemed to be decreased by the immunoprophylaxis with HBIG and Hepavax for hepatitis B infants, gamma-globulin for NANB hepatitis infants, but there was a significant difference in hepatitis B infants whose mothers had HBeAg positivity.

      • Ceramide에 의한 세포증식 억제 작용

        Sphingolipids play important roles in cell regulation and signal transduction. Recently, a sphingomyelin cycle has been described in which activation of neutral sphingomyelinase leads to the breakdown of sphingomyelin and the generation of ceramide. Ceramide, in turn, has emerged as a candidate intracellular mediator for action of certain cell agonists and has multiple biologic actions. Ceramide is potent suppressor of cell growth and an inducer of apoptosis. The present studies show that exposure of IM-9 cells to ceramide resulted in internucleosomal cleavage of DNA. DNA fragmentation induced by ceramide was confirmed by ^3H-thymidine release and diphenylamine assay. Transmission electron micrographs of IM-9 cells treated with ceramide showed typical apoptotic morphology with marked nuclear chromatin condensation and apoptotic bodies. These results show a role for ceramide in the regulation of cell growth and apoptosis.

        피조개(Scapharca broughtonii) 조미가공품의 관능 및 영양특성

        The objective of this study was to investigate the sensory and nutritional characteristics of seasoned broughton’sribbed ark Scapharca broughtonii product (S-BRA). Based on 100 g, the proximate composition of S-BRA was 68.9g moisture, 16.1 g crude protein, 4.0 g crude lipid and 4.0 g ash. The salinity was 2.2 g. Based on the results of a tasteintensitytest using an electronic tongue, S-BRA had a stronger umami taste and less sourness than the control (BRAprepared with commercial seasoning sauce) (P<0.05). In a sensory evaluation, S-BRA scored higher for appearance,taste, flavor, and texture compared to the control. The total amino acid content based on 100 g of S-BRA was 16.04g, and the major amino acids were aspartic acid, glutamic acid, leucine, and arginine. The S-BRA was higher in calcium,phosphorus, potassium, iron, and zinc than the control. The fatty acid content based on 100 g of S-BRA was3,242 mg, and the major fatty acids were 16:0, 20:5n-3 and 22:6n-3. These results indicated that S-BRA had greaternutritional value than the control.
