전통 교실과 Active Learning Classroom 간 비교 연구: 학습 공간이 대학생들의 인식에 미치는 영향을 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to compare students’ perception shaped by two different university classrooms: Traditional Classroom and ALC(Active learning classroom). We conducted survey of 71 university students who were taught by an identical instructor using same pedagogy. The survey questionnaires asked respondents about their perceptions on teaching and learning and physical environments relations, teaching proficiency, social context, student satisfaction and immersion. The data was analyzed using Student’s T-test. The results showed that ALC group, compared to the traditional classroom group, demonstrated statistically higher awareness on teaching and learning and physical environments relations, teaching proficiency, and instructor-student unofficial relations. Based on these findings, implications and limitations of this study were discussed. 본 연구는 학습자의 능동적인 학습활동을 촉진하여 학습의 질을 제고하기 위해 설계된 ALC(Active learning classroom) 수업에 대한 학습자의 인식을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 수도권 소재 A대학 71명의 학생(ALC 수업 43명, 일반교실 수업 28명)을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, 교실 구성요소 간의 관계, 교수자의 수업전문성, 교실의 사회․문화적 환경, 심리․정서적 환경에 대한 인식을 비교하였다. 주요 연구 결과로는 첫째, ALC 수업 학생들은 교수․학습과 물리적 학습환경의 관계를 보다 긍정적으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, ACL 수업 학생들은 ALC 환경을 능숙하게 다루는 측면에서의 교수자의 전문성을 긍정적으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, ALC 수업 학생들은 교수자와의 비형식적 관계가 보다 촉진되었다고 인식하였으나 심리․정서적 측면에서의 만족도 및 몰입은 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 새로운 학습공간 설계에 있어 교수․학습활동 운영을 위한 실제적인 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대한다.

The Beijing family of Mycobacterium tuberculosis has been emerging in the world. However, there are few nationwide data of genotypic distribution in Korea. This study aimed to identify the genotypic diversity of clinical isolates of M. tuberculosis and to demonstrate the population of Beijing family in Korea. We collected 96 clinical M. tuberculosis isolates from 11 university hospitals nationwide in Korea from 2008 to 2009. We observed 24 clusters in IS6110-RFLP analysis and 19 patterns in spoligotyping. Seventy-five isolates were confirmed to be Beijing family. Two isolates of the K strain and 12 isolates of the K family strain were also found. We found that drug resistance phenotypes were more strongly associated with Beijing family than non-Beijing family (P=0.003). This study gives an overview of the distribution of genotypes of M. tuberculosis in Korea. These findings indicate that we have to pay more attention to control of M. tuberculosis strains associated with the Beijing family.
The change in flow dynamics inside the post chamber of hybrid rocket

Visualization of the flow field inside the post chamber of hybrid rocket has been conducted with direct imaging technique. It has beensuggested that the flow dynamics inside the post chamber of hybrid rocket strongly affects the occurrence of Low frequency instability(LFI). Conventional observations of pressure and temperature measurements are insufficient to investigate the flow dynamics, therebythe visualization was applied. Direct imaging was used and the simple inexpensive method showed its capability of capturing interestingflow dynamics at reduced accuracy. First of all, in-phase like behavior between the unsteady heat release approximated by luminosityfluctuation and pressure oscillation has been confirmed. The coupling mechanism between local heat release and pressure oscillation ofnon-acoustic instability would lie in the hydrodynamics. Further analysis was done on visualized flow field with Proper orthogonal decomposition. The difference due to the existence of LFI was repeatedly appeared in mode 3 analysis. As a result, it is suggested thatmode 2 and 3 interaction generates a rotating motion. The frequency characteristic of the rotating motion is found to be at a higher frequencythan the most dominant frequency in the vicinity of 20 Hz. It is suspected that this rotating motion is closely related to vortexgeneration and is seemed to share similar characteristics to the Benard-von Karman instability found in bluff-body combustions. Investigationswill be extended to the previously found cases of instability occurred experiments to understand the change in flow dynamics dueto LFI.

This study is about the meaning of wooden brackets that are distinctive elements of wooden architecture in Korea, Japan, and China. Existing studies about wooden brackets have been limited to the boundary of formalism, so the object of this study is to make a breakthrough in the field of those studies. The Wooden brackets in this study are considered to be decorative elements, and the principles of their design are examined. The specific subject of the study is wooden architecture with Jusimpo-styled brackets that have brackets only on pillars. The definition of Jusimpo is reexamined first, and ChulMok-Ikkong which has not been regarded as a Jusimpo-styled wooden bracket is interpreted as Jusimpo-styled one in this study. Categorized into three types, Jusimpo is examined how it is expressed according to the type of the roof in a building. In view of the results, the wooden bracket system is an effective technique to express the formality, and two designing principles can be seen in Jusimpo; one that wooden brackets observed externally are standardized and regarded as the same ones, and the other that the style of wooden brackets used in the most formal building is Yi-ChulMok. These designing principles mean that the carpenter who was in charge of building the architecture had certain principles when expressing wooden brackets as well as the roofs according to the class of the architecture. In addition, although the styles of wooden brackets that were used in the most formal architecture during the Chosun period were mostly Dapo, Jusimpo in the form of Yi-ChulMok was also adopted in some temples depending on their scale, and that means Jusimpo-styled wooden brackets were never considered to be inferior to Dapo-styled ones. And this point leaves the argument that the reexamination of Jusimpo-styled wooden brackets which have been regarded as the style used in the attached building or small structures since the Choun dynasty should be conducted.
Flow Dynamics Associated with the Low Frequency Instability Occurrence in Hybrid Rocket Post-chamber

하이브리드 로켓에서 발생하는 저주파수 불안정성은 후연소실 내에서 발생하는 와류 흘림을 포함한 유동 특성에 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 판단된다. 이를 검증하기 위해 불안정성이 발생하는 형상에서의 안정한 구간과 불안정한 구간, 후방링을 장착하고 불안정성이 발생하는 구간의 후연소실 내부 유동을 가시화하여 POD 기법을 적용하였다. 모드 1에서 나타난 시간계수를 분석한 결과, 후연소실 내에서 발생하는 열적 진동이 실험상에서 나타나는 압력 진동 주파수인 16~19 Hz의 저주파수를 나타내는 것을 확인하였다. 공간적 모드 분석 결과를 통해 불안정성이 발생하였을 때와 발생하지 않았을 때 유동 특성의 변화를 확인하고, 이는 시간에 따라 유동 대칭축의 회전으로 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. In order to investigate the change in internal dynamics of hybrid rocket motor post-chamber due to low frequency instability occurrence, visualization technique was applied. Hybrid rocket motor post-chamber was visualized for stable, unstable and rear ring inserted unstable cases. Proper Orthogonal Decomposition(POD) technique was applied to the visualization images to qualitatively analyze the flow dynamics inside the post-chamber. Time coefficient result of unstable cases show the low freaquency characteristics of 16~19 Hz. Spatial mode distribution and reconstruction of primary modes confirmed that upon the occurrence of low frequency instability, the rotation of symmetric axis of the flow field occurs.
