Neutropenic enterocolitis is observed in approximately 10~46% of patients with acute leukemia, as well as in patients with other diseases, like acquired immunodeficiency syndrom (AIDS), that lead to profound neutropenia. Patients who become neutropenic after combined chemotherapy are at special risk of developing neutropenic enterocolitis. With the recently increasing numbers of patients with solid tumors treated with high-dose chemotherapy, the frequency of this disease is expected to increase. However, this disease has been rarely reported in patients with colon cancer treated with leucovorin and 5-fluorouracil for adjuvant chemotherapy. We report a case of neutropenic enterocolitis after a treatment of 5-fluorouracil and leucovorin for sigmoid colon cancer.

This paper studies that Busan Port boosts its relation continuity intention with customers as part of efforts to survive the cutthroat competition among regions and countries and to gain a competitive advantage over rivals. The establishment of such a relation continuity intention is based not only on a number of study results showing that raising customer loyalty enables ports to achieve a competitive advantage, but also on an assessment that from a defensive marketing point of view, the source of port competitiveness depends more on preventing existing customers from severing relations than creating new clients. The results and suggestions of this study are summarized as follows. First, it has expanded the path of influence by adding customer trust and commitment to the paradigm of port logistics service quality and customer satisfaction, which affects customer loyalty and relation continuity intention. Secondly, safety has been found to have the greatest impact on customer satisfaction, followed by reliability and speediness. Thirdly, an analysis of the impact of service quality factors on trust has shown that safety, which has influenced customer satisfaction the most, has a meaningful effect on customer trust. Fifthly, customer satisfaction has been found have a positive influence on trust and commitment. Fourthly, trust and commitment pertaining to relation quality has been found to have a direct positive impact on relation continuity intention.
채진목(Amelanchier asiatica) 열매 에탄올 추출물의 생리활성

본 연구에서는 채진목(Amelanchier asiatica)의 항산화 활성과 xanthine oxidase, angiotensin converting enzyme 그리고 elastase 저해활성 등의 생리활성 효과를 조사해 보았다. 채진목열매추출물에는 17.6 mg/g의 페놀성 물질이 함유되어 있으며, 추출물의 항산화 활성 실험에서 전자공여능은 채진목 열매 추출물을 50 μg/mL 이상으로 처리했을 때, 50% 이상의 효과를 보였으며, 200 μg/mL 이상 처리 하였을 때는 90% 이상의 전자공여능을 보였다. 또한 ABTS [2,2`-azinobis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid] radical cation decolorization 측정과 thiobarbituric acid reaction substance 측정에서도 각각 200 μg/mL 이상 처리하였을 때, 98%와 73%의 우수한 항산화력을 보였으며, antioxidant protection factor 측정에서는 1.03 PF의 효과를 보였다. XOase 저해활성 측정에서는 200 μg/mL 이상 처리하였을 때, 15% 이상의 저해활성을 나타냈으며, ACE 저해활성에서는 150 μg/mL에서 50% 이상, 200 μg/mL에서 82% 이상의 우수한 저해활성을 확인할 수 있었다. Elastase 저해활성에서는 50, 100, 150, 200 μg/mL 첨가 시 각각 3.9, 18.8, 32.1, 41.3%의 저해율을 보여 농도가 증가함에 따라 그 효과 또한 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 대조구인 Vit C가 200 μg/mL 첨가 시 12.6%의 낮은 저해율을 보여 상대적으로 그 효과의 우수함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과로 채진목의 항산화활성 및 통풍과 고혈압, 주름개선에 도움을 줄 수 있는 기능성식품 및 기능성 화장품의 개발 가능성이 확인되었으며, 안전한천연 기능성소재로서의 활용을 기대 할 수 있게 하였다. Amelanchier asiatica fruits have been used as a traditional medical food. This research was investigated to assess angiotensin converting enzyme, xanthine oxidase (XOase) and elastase inhibitory activity and antioxidant activities. The content of total phenolic compounds in A. asiatica fruits extracts was 17.6mg/mL. In extracts, the electron donating ability by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl free radical scavenging test of A. asiatica fruits extracts was 90.18% at 200 μg/mL. The 2,2`- azinobis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid radical decolorization of A. asiatica fruits extracts was 98.81% at 200 μg/mL. The inhibition rate of the antioxidant protection factor was 1.03, and thiobarbituric acid reactive substance was 73.27% at 200 μg/mL. The XOase inhibition activity of A. asiatica fruits extracts of showed to be 13.19% at 200 μg/mL. The angiotensin converting enzyme activity was significantly inhibited by A. asiatica fruits extracts as 82.52% inhibitory rate at 200 μg/ mL. Elastase inhibitory activity in the A. asiatica fruits extracts (41.48% at 200 μg/mL) was higher than vitamin C (12.8% at 200 μg/mL). These results suggests that A. asiatica fruits extracts have the greatest property as a functional food and functional cosmetic source.
정금나무(Vaccinium oldhami) 열매의 생리활성 및 항균활성

정금나무 열매의 생리활성 및 항균활성을 측정한 결과, ABTS radical decolorlization은 200 μg/mL에 92.7±4.1%로 positive control인 BHA의 200 μg/mL에서 52.4±1.9%보다 높은 활성을 보였다. 지용성 물질의 항산화력을 나타내는 TBARS값은 200 μg/mL에서 74.4±2.9%, antioxidant protection factor는 200 μg/mL에서 3.6±1.6%로 항산화효과가 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 정금나무 열매 추출물의 angiotensin converting enzyme 활성억제 효과는 200 μg/mL에서 28.6±0.6%의 저해율을 나타내었으며, xanthine oxidase 저해활성을 측정한 결과 200 μg/mL에서 43.3±0.8% 이상의 활성을 나타내었다. 정금나무 열매 추출물의 항균활성을 측정한 결과 Helicobacter pylori는 200 μg/0.1 mL 농도에서 24 mm의 저해환을 보였고, Staphylococcus epidermidis는 28 mm의 저해환을, Staphylococcus aureus, Eschericia coil, Propionebacterium acnes는 각각 13 mm, 26 mm, 16mm의 저해환을 나타내어 200 μg/0.1 mL의 농도 이상에서는 모두 항균활성이 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 주름억제 효과를 나타내는 elastase 억제효과를 측정한 결과 200μg/mL에서 52.7±0.9%로 비교적 높은 활성을 나타내었다. This study was carried out to investigate the biological activity and antimicrobial activity of Vaccinium oldhami fruit extracts. ABTS radical cation decolorization and the antioxidant protection factor (PF) of extracts as 92.7±4.1% and 3.6±1.6 PF were higher than a BHT of 200 μg/mL as 52.4±1.9% and 2.0±0.8 PF, and the TBARS of extracts was 74.4±2.9% with 200 μg/mL. The hypertension inhibitory activity of extracts from Vaccinium oldhami fruit indicated the activities of 28.6±0.6% with 200 μg/mL, and anti-gout activity was 43.3 ±0.8% with 200 μg/mL. Antimicrobial activity was found in Vaccinium oldhami fruit extracts on Helicobacter pylori, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus aureus, Eschericia coli and Propionebacterium acne. This activity was illustrated as 24 mm, 28 mm, 13 mm, 26 mm and 16 mm clear zones with 200 μg/mL respectively, and the elastase inhibitory activity which is related to the wrinkle cause was observed in extracts as 52.7±0.9% with 200 μg/mL.
