In this paper, we have studied internal quality including chemical compositions. microscopic structure and nonmetalic inclusion of test materials. We have analyzed dynamic characteristics of cutting force of milling including tensile strength value, hardness etc. Test materials are used in the tempered carbon steel and the non-tempered carbon steel. The obtained results are as follows: 1. In analyzing internal quality, the tempered carbon steel have typical martensite structure and the non-tempered carbon steel have ferrite + pearlite structure. 2. Yield strength, tensile strength and hardness value are in the non-tempered carbon steel but elongation is maximum value in the tempered carbon steel. 3. Cutting force is smaller non-tempered carbon steel than tempered carbon steel when feed speed and depth of cut is constant. 4. Cutting force is smaller non-tempered carbon steel than tempered carbon steel when cutting speed and depth of cut is constant.
알루미늄 합금의 미세조직 개선에 의한 절삭 가공 특성 향상

This research has been carried out to experiment machining characteristics by elements addition and subtraction of AC8B and sample that is used for car piston materials. 1. Mechanical properties of development sample expressed unique mechanical properties than AC8B. 2. Cutting resistance of development sample decreased about 10% than AC8B according to increase of the cutting speed. 3. According to increase of the feedrate, all comparison workpiece found that specific cutting resistance decrease. 4. It was found that sample's machining characteristics that is developed by addition and subtraction of elements improves.
자동차 소재의 미시적 조직 개질에 의한 표면 거칠기 특성에 관한 연구

In this paper the following conclusions were obtained after examining and analyzing data through the various experiments by engine piston as tile experimental materials among the automobile materials which are being commercialized. The following conclusions all obtained by examining & analyzing the experimental data through machining simulation and machining test through processing test after looking into the variables for interior quality improvement and making two experimental materials by using finite element package; KS AC8B existed already and developed material utilizing the system variable effects. The processing materials are processed on the conditions: spindle speed: 100 rpm, feed speed: 1 mm/rev, and depth of cut: 1 ㎛ and the phase of surface & roughness of the materials are analyzed by 3-D surface analysis microscope(Zygo)As the result of the above experiment, Sample, for example, shows the most excellent surface roughness, P-V 2.382 ㎛, rms 0.137 ㎛, Ra 0.102㎛. <br/> Accordingly, the various data of automobile materials that are examined in this study is judged to be used as the basic references which can help to improve the processing abi1ity, maintaining its own mechanical property when the selection of material and the processing are done at the industrial field.
