유아교사의 교사효능감이 유아의 놀이성에 미치는 영향 : 교사 전문성인식의 매개효과

본 연구는 유아교사가 인식한 교사효능감이 유아의 놀이성에 미치는 영향에서 교사 전문성인식이 매개하는지를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 수도권 및 기타지역의 어린이집, 유치원에 다니고 있는 만 3, 4, 5세 유아-유아교사 297쌍이다. 유아교사의 교사효능감은 Rigg와 Enochs(1990)의 교사용 과학 교수 효능감 측정 도구(Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instrument: STEBI)를 신혜영(2004)이 번안하고 수정한 도구를 사용하여 측정하였다. 유아교사의 전문성인식은 Wang(2005)의 전문성인식 평정척도(Current Status and Self-Desire for Professional Competence)를 정아람(2016)이 번안하고 수정한 도구를 사용하여 측정하였다. 유아의 놀이성은 김명순, 김길숙, 박찬화(2012)가 개발하여 타당화한 ‘유아용 놀이성 평정척도(Children’s Play-fulness Rating Scale, CPRS)’를 사용해 유아의 담임교사가 평정하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석하기 위해 빈도와 백분율, 신뢰도 계수를 산출하고 기술통계분석과 상관분석을 실시하였다. 또한 교사 전문성인식의 매개효과를 알아보기 위하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 후, Sobel-test를 통해 매개효과의 유의성을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 본 연구의 대상인 유아교사들이 교직에 임함에 있어 교사 역할을 적절하게 수행할 수 있다는 신념을 가지고 있으며, 자신의 전문성인식에 있어 유아와의 의사소통능력을 중요하게 여기고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 연구대상 유아들은 놀이성의 하위요인 중 즐거움을 가장 활발하게 표현하며 놀이하고 있었다. 둘째, 유아교사의 교사효능감 전체와 하위요인인 개인효능감, 일반효능감, 그리고 전문성인식 전체와 하위요인인 교수 능력, 운영관리능력, 의사소통능력, 전문성 신장능력, 보육보호 능력 모두 유아의 놀이성과 유의미한 상관관계를 확인하였다. 셋째, 유아교사의 전문성인식은 교사효능감이 유아의 놀이성에 미치는 영향에서 부분 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 유아의 놀이성이 유아교사의 교사효능감에 직접적인 영향을 받을 뿐만 아니라, 유아교사의 전문성인식을 통해 간접적으로도 영향을 받는다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 유아교사가 자신의 교수 행동과 영향력에 대해 기대하고 확신하는 교사효능감 증진을 통해 담당 유아, 학급운영, 행정업무 등에 대한 전문성인식 수준이 향상될수록 유아에 따라 서로 다른 놀이방식이나 놀이에 대한 태도인 놀이성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 결론적으로 유아교사의 교사효능감은 교사의 전문성인식을 매개로 하였을 때 유아의 놀이성에 더욱 유의미한 영향을 미친다. 다시 말해 전문성인식은 유아교사의 교사효능감과 유아의 놀이성 사이에서 주요한 역할을 하는 매개변인인 것이다. 즉, 유아교사의 교사효능감 증진을 통해 전문성인식을 향상함으로써 유아의 놀이성이 높아질 수 있으므로 교사효능감과 전문성인식의 중요성을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러므로 유아교육 현장과 정책적 차원에서 유아교사의 교사효능감과 전문성인식을 증진하는 다각적이고 실질적인 방안들을 마련해야 한다. The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of perceived professionalism in the relationship between teacher efficacy of the early childhood teachers and children’s playfulness. The subjects were 297 children aged 3, 4 and 5 years and 297 their teachers at kindergartens and childcare centers located in all over the country. Teacher efficacy was measured using the Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instrument(STEBI; Rigg and Enochs, 1990) adapted and modified by Shin(2004). Teacher’s perception of professionalism was measured using the Current Status and Self-Desire for Professional Competence(Wang, 2005) adapted and modified by Jeong(2016). Children’s playfulness was evaluated by the homeroom teacher using the Children’s Playfulness Rating Scale(CPRS) deveploped and validated by Kim, Kim, and Park(2012). The collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, reliability measurement, descriptive statistical analysis, and correlation analysis. In addition, a hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to find out the mediating effect of teacher’s perceived professionalism. The significance of the mediating effect was also verified through the Sobel-test. The results of this study were as follows: First, it was found that early childhood teachers, the subject of this study, have a belief that they can properly play the role of a teacher in teaching, and value communication skills with children in recognizing their expertise. And the young children in the study were playing with the most active expression of pleasure among the sub-factors of playfulness. Second, both the overall teacher's teacher efficacy as a whole and sub- factors, personal efficacy and general efficacy, showed a positive correlation with the playfulness of young children. In addition, the entire perception of professionalism and its sub-factors, teaching ability, operation management ability, communication ability, professionalism growth ability, and childcare protection ability, all had a positive correlation with children's playfulness. Third, it was found that the early childhood teacher's perception of professionalism played a partial mediating role in the effect of teacher efficacy on children's playfulness. This means that the playfulness of young children is not only directly influenced by teachers' teacher efficacy, but also indirectly influenced by teacher’s perception of professionalism. Therefore, it can be seen that if the level of teacher’s perceived professionalism is improved by enhancing the teacher efficacy, the children’s playfulness is also improved. In conclusion, the early childhood teachers' teacher efficacy has a more significant effect on the children's playfulness when the teacher's perception of professionalism is mediated. In other words, teacher’s perception of professionalism is a major role-playing parameter between the early childhood teacher’s teacher efficacy and the children’s playfulness. This study confirmed the importance of teacher efficacy and perception of professionalism. Therefore, practical measures should be prepared to promote the teacher efficacy and perception of professionalism in early childhood teachers at the field of early childhood education and at the policy level.

21세기 이래로, 중국의 영화산업은 전례 없는 성장을 경험하였다. 비록 중국 영화시장에서 판타지 영화의 역사는 길지 않음에도, 많은 주목을 받았다. 중국 영화산업이 발전함에 따라 <무극>, <화피>, <백사전설>, <신서유기> 등의 중국식 판타지 영화가 탄생했다. 비록 판타지 장르는 중국에서 그 역사가 깊지 않으나, 중국의 전통문화를 적극적으로 재현함으로서 중국의 대중들에게 점차 친숙한 장르로 거듭나고 있다. 즉 중국의 전통문화를 담아냄으로서 판타지라는 생소한 장르에서 익숙한 지점을 찾아낼 수 있는 것이다. 이러한 중국적 판타지 영화의 호소력은 박스오피스 흥행을 통해 증명되며, 이는 중국 특유의 ‘중국식’ 판타지 영화가 탄생했음을 알리는 현상이다. 본고에서는 대중문화의 시각에서 중국에서의 판타지 영화의 흥행 원인을 고찰하고, 나아가 판타지 영화 속에서 중국 전통문화의 재현 양상을 분석하고자 한다. 더불어 상업성과 작품성을 겸비한 서구의 판타지 영화와 비교하여 보면, 중국의 ‘첫 번째 판타지 영화’라고 불리는 <무극>은 비록 흥행 실적은 뛰어났으나, 작품성에서의 비판은 피하지 못했다. 또한 중국 판타지 영화 <화벽>, <백사전설>, <천녀유혼 2011>등 역시 흥행에는 성공하였지만, 낮은 작품성에 대한 논란이 끊이지 않았다. 중국의 판타지 영화가 비록 미성숙한 수준에 머무르고 있음에도 불구하고, 특기해야할 지점은 중국 대중들에게 인기있는 장르로 자리매김하고 있다는 사실이다. 이제 판타지 영화 또한 대중문화의 일부로 정착하였다. 중국의 여러 학자가 기술적, 미학적인 시각에서 판타지 영화를 분석하는 것과 달리, 본고에서는 중국 판타지 영화의 서사적 특징, 주제, 이미지를 고찰하여 중국 판타지 영화가 가지고 있는 문제점을 도출하고자 한다. 또한 소비문화의 시각으로 중국 판타지 영화의 문화적 특징을 제시하며, 문제점에 대한 분석도 이루어질 것이다.
