        극소저출생 체중아의 생존율

        목 적 : 저자들은 최근 6년간 단국대학교병원 신생아 중환자실에 입원한 극소저출생 체중아의 생존율의 변화를 2기간으로 나누어 조사하고자 하였다.방 법 : 1997년 1월 1일부터 2002년 12월 31일까지 단국대학교병원 신생아 중환자실에 입원한 1,500 gm 미만의 극소저출생 체중아 228명에 대해 I기(1997-1999년)와 II기(2000-2002년)로 나누어 기별 출생 체중과 재태 연령에 따른 환아의 분포와 생존율, 합병증, 사망원인 등에 대해 병록지 검토를 통해 후향적 조사를 실시하였다. Purpose:We observed changes in the outcome of very low birth weight infants(VLBWI) admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit(NICU) of Dankook University Hospital(DKUH) in the last six years. Methods:The distribution of birth weight and gestational age, survival rate, neonatal complications, and causes of death for 228 VLBWI who had been admitted to DKUH from 1st January 1997 to 31th December 2002, were observed by retrospective review of medical records. We compared the above variables between period I(1997-1999) and period II(2000-2002). Results:The mean birth weight, mean gestational age, gender ratio, rate of inborn infants, and other perinatal and obstetric variables were not significantly different between the two periods, except for the rate of infants with Apgar scores less than 4 at 5 min. The survival rate of VLBWI significantly increased from period I(81.0%) to period II(85.4%)(P<0.05). Major neonatal complications of VLBWI were respiratory distress syndrome, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, retinopathy of prematurity, necrotizing enterocolitis, periventricular leukomalasia and intraventricular hemorrhage. The most common cause of death in VLBWI was pulmonary hemorrhage, and the age of death was mostly less than seven days after birth. Conclusion:The survival rate of VLBWI who had been admitted to the NICU of DKUH was increased without any increase in major complications, and this increase(4.4%) in survival rate was mainly from the increase in survival rate of infants with birth weights of less than 1,000 gm and gestational ages of less than 28 weeks.

        극심한 청색등으로 표현된 선천성 폐정맥 협착증 1례

        Congenital pulmonary vein stenosis(CPVS) with anatomically normal connection, a rare anomaly, usually leads to progressive pulmonary hypertension, cardiac failure in infancy, and death if untreated. Most are combined with other anomalies, particularly left to right shunt lesions. Very often, the detection of CPVS is overlooked on the initial cardiac echocardiogram, because it may be mild in its severity initially, but progresses over time. CPVS shows the turbulence at color Doppler echocardiogram and a pulsed-wave Doppler signal of >1.6 m/sec with loss of phase. We experienced a case showing a small sized secundum atrial septal defect and mild turbulence at the right pulmonary vein on the initial color Doppler echocardiogram, and at follow-up, severe cyanosis, pulmonary hypertension, right heart failure, and reopened ductus with bidirectional shunt. Complete examination of echocariogram must be warranted at the initial stage and follow-up, in order not to miss CPVS. 선천성 폐정맥 협착증은 매우 드문 기형이며, 진행성 폐동맥 고혈압과 우심실 부전으로 치사율이 매우 높은 질환이다. 좌우 단락을 가진 흔한 심기형과 잘 동반이 되는데 첫 심초음파 시행 시 간과되기 쉽다. 점차 진행하는 특성이 있으므로 처음 시행 시 및 기존 기형에 대한 추적에서도 color 및 Doppler 심초음파 검사를 주의 깊게 완전히 시행하여야 한다. 저자들은 극심한 청색증 및 폐 고혈압의 임상 양상을 나타내고 수술 후 생존한 정상적인 해부학적 구조를 가진 선천성 폐정맥 협착증 1례를 경험하였기에 이에 보고하는 바이다.

        기술 교과 중심의 통합, STEM 교육 연구 동향 분석

        This study has analyzed the research trend of domestic and foreign integrated curriculum for the last 10 years from 2000's to February, 2010 by limiting as Journal of Korean Technology Education Association, Journal of Korean Institute of Industrial Educators, Journal of Korean Practical Arts Education, Journal of Engineering Education Research and Journal of Technology Education while performing by the purpose of presenting the study objective of STEM integrated education. For the study method, the number of theses, study themes, integration types, study design types and characteristics of researcher by each year have been set as standards by selecting 46 volumes of analysis targeted theses and contemplating the related literature while the analysis and discussion were performed by a team of 3 researchers over stages 1 and 2. The conclusions gained from this are as follows. First, it could be verified that the research ratio related to integrated education in the technology education of secondary education standard was considerably low while this has been confirmed as not being able to reflect the demand on integrated education in the interdisciplinary peculiar characteristics of technology education, cognitive development aspect of the students and reorganization of knowledge aspect, etc. Second, while the education policy of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (2011) is presenting terms called integration and convergence in its education policy or the new paradigm such as STEM integrated education is being presented in various places of the world including the United States and England,a reflective reconsideration on the fact that the integrated education related research in the field of domestic technology education is rather showing as a decreasing trend. Third, it was confirmed that half of the researches have been focused on the theme of 'curriculum'. Fourth, it was confirmed that the researches being accepted as STEM integrated education are being performed in case of domestic journals among the integrated types of integrated education related research. In addition, it was also confirmed that the research on 'science+technology+mathematics+sociology' is also actively in progress. Fifth, the domestic research securing diversity in the research design or research method aspects and the field research being actively performed compared to foreign countries have been confirmed in the research design and research method aspects. Sixth, the professors and graduate school students participating relatively in active way has been confirmed in case of our country and this is interpreted as a positive factor of widening the scene of research on technology education.

        회로도면과 IC Mask Layout을 위한 2차원 Grphic Editor

        This paper describes the SEAS which is a 2-dimensional graphic editor for schematic circuit and IC mask layout. This system runs on general purpose computer and Tektronix 4110 series graphic terminal. With this system, user can edit schematic circuits and/or IC mask layout with 2 level hierarchy. This system supports more than 20 kinds of built-in symbol, user definable internal symbols, 60 macros, 16 function keys, 4 level on-screen menu operation and edit-in-place of cell in main drawing. And it provides editing functions such as reflection, rotation, move and copy of one or a group of elements, and modification of polygona geometry etc. To improve the excution speed, we used local memory of graphic terminal. For the portability of the program, the system is written in FORTRAN 77 programming language.

        중등 과학, 기술 교사의 발명에 대한 이미지

        The purpose of this study was to examine the image of inventions of science and technology teachers. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the factor structure related to image on inventions through semantic differential method were analyzed, and image was analyzed and compared according to words and pictures for science, technology texts, gender, invention education experience, invention education training experience and inventions. The contents of the examination were made on 60 teachers in charge of science curricula, and 60 teachers in charge of technology curricula. The questions used in the survey were the 33 questions used in the studies of Choi Yoo-hyeon (2006), and they were all used without any question excluded through the factor analysis. The nine factors of the semantic differential method for identifying the factor structure. In order to analyze the images of teacher for these nine factors, SPSS was used to utilize the average value and standard deviation, as well as T-verification of images, and the considerable level was set at 0.05. The results of this study are as follows. 1. From the results of the factor analysis of invention images of secondary science and technology teachers were categorized according to each of the nine factors. 2. Results of the t-verification for invention images of science and technology teachers, showed that the image of technology teachers were positive in four factors (feeling, taste, qualitative, active factors). This is interpreted to be the result of implementing the invention units in technology curricula. 3. In examining according to gender and experience in invention education, there was no difference in image, but a difference in image for invention based on having or not having experience on education courses. The active factor was higher among the group that had education courses. It is interpreted that education for teachers on inventions enhanced the activity of invention education. 4. When asked what word came to mind when hearing the word 'invention', both science and technology teachers answered creativity and ideas, and when asked to draw the image of invention, they drew a light bulb or question mark. This was interpreted to mean that they though of invention as an activity that stimulated the mind. 이 연구의 목적은 과학, 기술 교사의 발명에 대한 이미지를 알아보는 것이다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 의미분별법에 의해 발명에 대한 이미지 관련 요 인구조를 분석하고, 이미지를 과학, 기술 교과, 성별, 발명교육경험, 발명교육연수경 험, 발명에 대한 단어나 그림에 따라 비교, 분석하였다. 조사내용은 과학교과를 담당하는 교사 60명과 기술교과를 담당하는 교사 60명을 대상으로 실시되었다. 설문에 사용한 문항은 최유현(2006)의 연구에 사용된 33문항 이었는데 요인분석을 통해 제외되는 문항이 없이 모두 이용되었다. 의미분별법의 9 가지 요인의 요인구조를 파악하는데 이용되었다. 아홉 가지 요인에 대해 교사들의 이미지를 분석하기 위해 SPSS를 이용하여 이미지의 평균값과 표준편차, T-검정 등 이 사용되었고 유의수준은 0.05로 하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 중등 과학, 기술교사의 발명이미지 요인분석결과 발명 이미지는 각각 9개의 요소로 범주화하였다. 2. 과학, 기술교사의 발명 이미지 t-검정 결과 4개의 요소(감정요소, 기호요소, 질 적요소, 활동요소)에서 기술교사의 이미지가 더 긍정적으로 나타났다. 이는 기술 교 과에 발명단원의 도입에 따른 것으로 해석된다. 3. 성별, 발명교육 경험의 유무에서는 이미지의 차이가 없었으나 연수경험의 유 무에서 발명에 대한 이미지에 차이가 있었다. 활동요소는 연수경험이 있는 집단이 높게 나타났다. 교사의 발명에 대한 연수가 발명교육의 활동성을 높이는 것으로 해 석된다. 4. ‘발명’하면 떠오르는 단어는 과학, 기술교사 공통적으로 창의성, 아이디어라는 응답이 가장 많았고 ‘발명’ 이미지 그림은 전구, 물음표를 가장 많이 그렸는데 이는 사고를 자극하는 활동으로 생각하고 있는 것으로 해석된다.
