The volume of a molecule is a fundamental physicochemical property to understand the structure, function and interaction of molecules. Therefore, it is important to measure the volume exactly. In this paper, we present the exact calculation for the volume of a molecular surface as one of well-known geometric representations for a molecule which envelops a solvent-excluded volume of a molecule. The volume is calculated by the decomposition of the volume into volume primitives based on β -complex. For molecules, it takes O(n) time-complexity in the worst case where n is the number of simplexes of β-complex.

PIN 다이오드를 사용하여 부하선로 방식 위상기와 가변회로 방식 위상기의 설계방법을 제안하였다. 부하선로 방식은 어느 정도 간격을 두고 두개의 서셉턴스를 병렬로 접속하여 구성하고 스위칭 소자의 바이어스에 따른 서셉턴스값의 변화에서 위상차를 얻으므로서 작은 위상변화를 간단한 구성으로 얻었다. 가변회로 방식은 캐패시터와 인덕터로 병렬 T회로를 구성하고 스위칭 소자의 바이어스에 따른 회로의 기본 구성이 바뀌어지는 방식으로, 저역통과 상태와 고역통과 상태를 유출하여 큰 위상차를 얻었다. 중심 주파수 6GHz에서 대부분의 설계사항은 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션에 의하여 최적화 시켰다. 또한 마이크로스트립 선로의 비유전율 2.94인 기판에 Owen 식을 이용하여 계산하였다. 측정치는 평균 위상 오차 $10^{\circ}$ 미만으로 이론치와 거의 같음을 알 수 있었다. In this paper, we design the 4-bit phase shifter which have $22.5^{\circ},45^{\circ},90^{\circ}$ and $180^{\circ}$ phase shift by applying the loaded line and switched network phase shifter. Its phase shift is variable with changing of the stub and passive device parameters. The experiments show the 6.5 dB average insertion loss and $10^{\circ}$ average phase error at center frequency, 6GHz. The results of experiment agree well with the theories except $180^{\circ}$ phase shifter.

A new DC drain-current model of GaAs MESFET with improved accuracy is proposed in this paper. The proposed model includes the decrease of current slope according to gate voltages. It is possible to represent a transconductance compression using the proposed model. It shows improved transconductance and output resistance in accuracy from the forward biased gate region to near the cutoff region. The wquaer error of saturation current is decreased by 46% compared with Statz model. The proposed model can be useful for the simulation of large-signal operation and harmonic distortion.
3차원에서 구의 보로노이 다이어그램의 구성을 위한 영역 확장법

It is known that Voronoi diagrams have many important applications in science and engineering as a useful tool for analyzing spatial properties among geometric objects. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to construct Euclidean Voronoi diagram for spheres in 3-dimensional space. Starting from the ordinary Voronoi diagram of centers of spheres, the proposed region-expansion algorithm constructs the desired diagram by expanding Voronoi regions for one sphere after another via a series of topology operations. While the worst-case time complexity is O(n3 log n) for the whole diagram, its expected time complexity can be much smaller.

The Chinese tourists would like to visit the advanced industries, such as Hyundai automobile and Pohang Steel factory. Thus, Korean inbound travel agents develop a package product including advanced factories along with the Kyongju World Culture Expo. Accordingly, the slogan of promotion should emphasize on the city of Shila dynasty with advanced industries or an economic development. The major outbound market in China representing 80% of total outbound is Beijing, Sanhai, Kwangdong, and sandong in which the Expo Organizing Committee focuses on promotion. The period of promotion should start at least March because inbound travel agents sell package tours for Summer and Fall in March.
