        빅데이터 분석을 통한 한국과 미국의 스타벅스 비교 분석

        The purpose of this study was to compare the Starbucks in South Korea with Starbucks in U.S.A through the semantic network analysis of big data by collecting online data with SCTM(Smart Crawling & Text Mining) program which was developed by big data research institute at Kyungsung University, a data collecting and processing program. The data collection period was from January 1st 2014 to December 7th 2017, and packaged Netdraw along with UCINET 6.0 were utilized for data analysis and visualization. After performing CONCOR(convergence of iterated correlation) analysis and centrality analysis, this study illustrated the current characteristics of Starbucks for Korea and U.S.A reflected by the social network and the differences between Korea and U.S.A. Since the Starbucks was greatly developed, especially in Korea. this study also was supposed to provide significant and social-network oriented suggestions for Starbucks USA, Starbucks Korea and also the whole coffee industry. Also this study revealed that big data analytics can generate new insights into variables that have been extensively studied in existing hospitality literature. In addition, implications for theory and practice as well as directions for future research are discussed.

        Joint Effect of Cigarette Smoking and Body Mass Index on White Blood Cell Count in Korean Adults

        Background: White blood cell count is an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Several lifestyle and metabolic factors such as cigarette smoking and obesity are known to be associated with an elevated white blood cell count. However, the joint effect of cigarette smoking and obesity on white blood cell count has not yet been fully described.Methods: We explored the joint effect of cigarette smoking and obesity on white blood cell count using multiple lo-gistic regression analyses after adjusting for confounding variables in a population-based, cross-sectional study of 416,065 Korean adults.Results: Cigarette smoking and body mass index have a dose-response relationship with a higher white blood cell count, but no synergistic interaction is observed between them (men, P for interaction=0.797; women, P for inter-action=0.311). Cigarette smoking and body mass index might have an additive combination effect on high white blood cell count. Obese male smokers were 2.36 times more likely and obese female smokers 2.35 times more likely to have a high white blood cell count when compared with normal body mass index non-smokers.Conclusion: Cigarette smoking and body mass index are independently associated with an elevated white blood cell count in both men and women.

        Case report : Canine distemper virus infection in a wild Korean raccoon dog

        Abstract: A female wild raccoon dog was referred with a history of generalized seizure. Mild leukocytosis was noted onlaboratory tests. Gross lesions included nasal hemorrhage, hemothorax, and hemorrhage in the urinary bladder withhematuria. Microscopically, interstitial and purulent bacterial pneumonia was observed in the lungs. In the cerebellum,characteristic eosinophilic intracytoplasmic and intranuclear inclusion bodies were found in Purkinje cells, and severedemyelination was observed in the cerebellar white matter. Canine distemper virus (CDV) infection was suspected andconfirmed after detection of CDV nucleoprotein RNA in the cerebrum and the lungs by nested reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP). Based onthe histopathological and molecular diagnostic findings, it was concluded that the raccoon dog was infected with CDV.

        가감선방패독탕(加減仙防敗毒湯) 투약을 통한 탈모증 치험 1례 - 임파선염을 동반한 다발성 원형탈모증 치료를 중심으로

        Objectives : This is a clinical report on a 27-year-old patient with Multi-patched Alopecia Areata(AA) assumed to be occurred by chronic lymphadenopathy, and treated by oriental medicine treatment. Methods : The patient was treated by herb medication and acupuncture. The improvement of the patient was judged by magnifying glass, camera and VAS scale. Results & Conclusions : The AA patches were shown the regrowth of hair. And the pain from lymphadenopathy was disappeared. Oriental medicine treatment including Gagamsunbangpaedok-tang $(Ji\bar{a}ji\check{a}nxi\bar{a}nf\acute{a}ngb\grave{a}id\acute{u}-t\bar{a}ng)$ was effective to regrow hair on AA patches and reduce the symptom of lymphadenopathy as well.

        자동차 배기가스로 인한 사회적 비용을 고려한 경제성 평가 방법론

        Air pollutants have a high impact on everyday life as well as on human health; therefore, new technologies such aslow-emission vehicles and add-on systems for air pollutant reduction are needed for our society. However, the environmentalbenefits and costs of those technologies are not taken into account in existing economic feasibility assessments, which is a barrierthat needs to be overcome for green technology to achieve wide dissemination and fast penetration in the market. Thus, this studydevelops a methodology to assess the economic feasibility of an air pollutant reduction technology by taking into account thesocial costs from air pollutants and carries out a case study to validate the methodology. Because the social unit costs for airpollutants have not been evaluated yet in South Korea, the methodology uses the social unit costs evaluated for the EuropeanUnion that are then converted to those for South Korea based on the measuring criteria for vehicle emission gases, paritypurchasing price, foreign currency exchange rate, and customer price index. The social unit costs for South Korea are used toassess economic feasibility. A case study was performed to assess the economic feasibility of a dual fuel system using diesel andcompressed natural gas by taking into account social costs from air pollutants as well as economic costs. This study couldcontribute to assessing the true economic feasibility of green technology, projects, and policy related with air pollutant reduction. 자동차에서 배출되는 대기오염 물질로 인하여 인체 건강과 일상 활동이 막대한 피해를 입고 있어 대기오염 물질을 저감하기 위한 새로운 친환경 자동차나 자동차 개조 장치의 개발과 적용이 필요하다. 하지만 이러한 기술의 환경적 편익과 비용이기존의 경제성 평가에서는 반영되지 않아 친환경기술의 보급에 장애가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 자동차에서 발생하는 대기오염 물질이 우리 사회에 끼치는 사회적 비용을 고려하여 친환경기술의 경제적 타당성을 평가하는 방법론을 제안하고,이 방법론의 적용성과 타당성을 보여주기 위해 사례연구를 실시하였다. 현재 국내에서는 대기오염 물질의 사회적 비용이평가되지 않았기 때문에 유럽에서 평가한 사회적 단위비용을 바탕으로 국내 자동차 배출가스 측정기준, 구매력 지수, 환율,소비자 물가지수를 이용하여 국내에서 활용가능한 사회적 단위비용을 도출함으로써 경제적 타당성 평가에 활용할 수 있게하였다. 사례연구에서는 경유버스를 개조하여 경유와 압축천연가스를 함께 사용할 수 있도록 하는 혼소시스템 기술에 대해대기오염 물질의 사회적 비용을 포함한 경제성을 평가하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 방법론은 자동차뿐만 아니라 다양한 친환경 기술, 사업, 정책의 타당성을 평가하는 데 활용될 수 있다.

        본고에서는 한국어와 한어의 모음체계 대조분석결과를 바탕으로 중국인학습자의 한국어 발음오유를 예측하고 음성분석프로그람을 사용하여 중국인학습자들의 실제 나타나는 발음오유를 확인한다. 이를 바탕으로 정확한 한국어발음을 유도할 수 있는 효과적인 한국어 발음교육방안을 제시하고 고찰하였다.

        수중 네트워크의 전파 비대칭성을 고려한 BTB-TDMA 성능 분석

        수중 음향네트워크에서 노드의 위치와 이동속도에 따라 변화하는 전파지연 시간을 추정하여 시간 블록이라는 새로운 슬럿 단위로 노드들의 전송 스케줄을 설정하는 Block-Time-Bounded Time Division Multiple Access (BTB-TDMA) 매체접속제어 방식이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 노드의 이동으로 인해 상향(uplink)과 하향(downlink)의 전파지연이 비대칭적이 되고, 이에 따른 수신 충돌이 BTB-TDMA의 성능에 미치는 영향을 시뮬레이션을 통해 분석한다. 이를 위해 전파지연 비대칭성으로 인한 수신 충돌률, 채널접속지연, 채널효율을 수학적으로 모델링하고, 수중노드의 수, 네트워크 범위, 수중노드의 이동 속도에 따라 BTB-TDMA 시간 블록의 길이를 변화시켜 광범위한 시뮬레이션을 수행한다. 시뮬레이션 결과의 분석을 통해, 네트워크 환경에 따라 수신 충돌을 최소화 하면서, 채널 접속지연과 채널효율 성능을 최대화할 수 있는 시간 블록 값을 도출할 수 있는 성능지표를 제시한다. A Block-Time-Bounded Time Division Multiple Access (BTB-TDMA) medium access control protocol, which estimates the propagation delay of nodes according to their location and moving velocity information, has been proposed for underwater acoustic networks. BTB-TDMA provides nodes with their transmission schedules by a time block that is a time unit, newly designed for BTB-TDMA. In this paper, we investigate how the receiver collision, that is induced by the asymmetry between node's uplink and downlink propagation delay due to its mobility, affects the performance of BTB-TDMA. To do this, we analytically obtain the collision rate, the channel access delay, and the channel utilization by considering the asymmetry of propagation delay. Then, simulations are extensively performed with respect to the length of a time block by varying the number of nodes, the network range, and the node's velocity. Thus, the simulation results can suggest performance criteria to determine the optimal length of a time block which minimizes the collision rate and concurrently maximizes the channel access delay and the channel utilization.
