      • 不飽和 花崗岩質風化土의 剪斷强度 特性

        In order to investigate the strength characteristics of weathered granite soils in unsaturated state, the five physically different weathered granite soils and the common soil(sandy loam) were examined. The disturbed and the undisturbed material were prepared for triaxial compression test. The following conclusions were drawn from the study; 1. Dry density of the undisturbed soil samples was lower than maximum dry density determined from the compaction test and it showed the higher value at the well graded soil. 2. The failure strength of the samples decreased with the increase of moisture content of the soil and these results were highly pronounced at the common soil sample having a brood cohesive property. 3. On weathered granite soils, the cohesion was lower measured and the internal friction angle highly, the decrease rate of internal friction angle with increase of moisture content of the soil was more significant than that of cohesion 4. The modulus of deformation of the samples decreased with increase of moisture content of the soil and these phenomena were highly pronounced at the weathered granite soils than common soil. 5. The failure strength of the samples increased with increase of confining pressure and effect confining pressure on failure strength was highly significant at the lower moisture content of soil.

      • 흙의 密度와 含水比가 剪斷强度에 미치는 影響

        It has been known that the shear strength of soil is an important design parameter for the foundation of structures, the retaining walls, the slope failures and so forth. In this study, the shear test was performed by using the direct shear apparatus under various degree of the moisture content and the density of the sample soils. The results of the study were summarized as follows; 1. The shear strength of soil increased with increase in the dry density of soil, and at the same level of density of the sample the shear strength of soil showed large values on a good grading of the sample. 2. The cohesion of the soil varied directly with the dry density of it, however the internal friction angle of soil was not affected by the dry density of the sample. 3. The shear strength of sample varied inversly with the moisture content of it, and this phenomenon was apparent on a good grading of sample. 4. The cohesion of soil showed maximum value when the moisture content of the soil reached optimum level and the internal friction angle decreased with increase in the moisture content of it. These phenomena were very obvious on a good grading sample, SDC-1. 5. The cohesion of the soil decreased with increase in void ratio of the sample, but the internal friction angle of the sample didn't show such tendency.

        粘性土의 應力-變形 推定에 關한 硏究

        The paper describes the comparison between observed and predicted stress-strain characteristics of marine silty clay in Dangjin district. For prediction, the hyperbolic model which is applied the parameters acquiring by physical and triaxial compression test was adopted, and the obtained results were summarized as follows: 1. The Young's modulus were increased with decreasing of moisture contents and increasing of dry density. 2. The most affective factor to hyperbolic model is lateral stress and dry density. and than cohesion and internal friction angle. 3. The comparision between the statistical and hyperbolic values of maximum deviator stress have few accordance. and the statisticals is lower than the hyperbolics. 4. Without. much labor and tiresome procedures, effective computer program was made and applied, but technical procedure for prevents test errors of parameter calculation is importants.

      • Hemingway의 作品에 나타난 作家의 不敗精神과 汎愛精神의 硏究 : The old man and the sea를 中心으로

        In this thesis, I have tried to view Hemingway and his works. I have especially, concentrated on one of his later novels. He wrote the old man and the sea on the basis of his personal experences. We can see symbolism, self-confidence and strong individualism especially throughout this novel. He concentrated on the team spirit of baseball and team sport ingeneral was symbolic of man's interdependences the main theme of this novel. Hemingway elevated human philosophy to the level of religion and did not deny god, but his god was neither in inner god nor on absolute one. He did not think that religion was absolute, Hemingway had been increasingly concerned with the relationship between individualism and interdependence. THe old man and the sea is the culminating expression of this concern in its reflection of Hemingway's mature view of the tragic irony of man's fate.

        흙의 밀도(密度)와 함수비(含水比)가 전단강도(剪斷强度)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        흙의 전단강도(剪斷强度) 옹벽(擁壁)이나 사면(斜面)의 안정(安定) 혹은 구조물기초(構造物基礎)의 설계등(設計等)의 문제(問題)를 해결(解決)하는데 중요(重要)한 것으로 알려져 있다. 직접전단시험기(直接剪斷試驗機)는 수직응력(垂直應力)의 불균일성(不均一性), 진행성파괴(進行性破壞), 측면마찰(側面摩擦)의 영향등(影響等)에 대(對)하여 해결(解決)하여야 할 문제(問題)를 내포(內包)하고 있다. 그러나 본시험(本試驗)에서는 그의 장치(裝置)가 간편(簡便)하여 널리 사용(使用)되고 있는 직접전단시험기(直接剪斷試驗機)를 사용(使用)하여 밀도(密度)와 함수비(含水比)를 변화(變化)시키면서 비배수(非排水) 급속전단시험(急速剪斷試驗)을 하여 다음과 같은 결과(結果)를 얻었다. 1. 건조밀도(乾燥密度)가 증가(增加)함에 딸라 전단강도(剪斷强度)는 큰 값을 나타내고 같은 밀도(密度)에서도 입도배합(粒度配合)이 양호(良好)한 흙에서 전단강도(剪斷强度)는 큰 값을 나타냈다. 2. 점착력(粘着力)은 건조밀도(乾燥密度)가 커짐에 따라 증가(增加)하는 경향(傾向)을 나타냈으나 내부마찰각(內部摩擦角)은 일률적(一律的)인 증가(增加)의 경향(傾向)이 나타나지 않았다. 3. 함수비(含水比)가 증가(增加)함에 따라 전단강도(剪斷强度)는 감소(減少)하였고 이와같은 현상(現象)은 입도배합(粒度配合)이 양호(良好)한 흙에서 더욱 현저하게 나타났다. 4. 점착력(粘着力)은 흙의 함수비(含水比)가 최적함수비(最適含水比)에 가까울 때 최대(最大)로 되고, 내부마찰각(內部摩擦角) 함수비(含水比)가 증가(增加)함에 따라 감소(減少)하였다. 이와같은 현상(現象)은 입도배합(粒度配合)이 양호(良好)한 SDC-1 시료(試料)에서 더욱 현저하게 나타났다. 5. 점착력(粘着力)은 공극비(空隙比)가 증가(增加)함에 따라 감소(減少)하였고 내부마찰각(內部摩擦角)은 이와 같은 경향(傾向)이 나타나지 않았다.       • 河口의 漂砂移動이 河口港에 미치는 影響에 對한 調査硏究(第1 報)

        The pressent writer observed about the estuary harbor(Kun San, Jang hang)that have been Influenced by the coastal drift mouement from the estuary of Kum Kang River as the area of tidal Compartment which make the particular phenoment and how to construct a counter measure for the bad affection of it. 1. The result of tide sounding by automatic tide gauge in Gunsan dity is as follows: The highest tide water surface: (-)7.10 meters The lowest tide water surface: 0.50 meters The average surface of the tide weter: 3.25 meters. Spring range ls 0.92 meters in comparing with Whayang tide examination. At tide range, high tide risese five minutes earlier than low tide and low tide is later twenty minutes. Regardless of the difference of tide, the tide current at high tide is faster than the low tide and at the flood it is an opposite phenomena. 2. According to the observation of the main current at the strongest tide. It is reporte'd that the high tide flows more stronger than the low tide. The violent whirl tide was occrred at the vicinity of minyer arm as the wave speed of 0.93/sec at the high tide, and of 1.80m/sec at the low tide. The speed of low tide is very fastd at the time of flood. The averagae speed of tide is obout 2m/sec. 3. The observation result of the waves is as follows: (These were observed at the vicimit of light house on Jun mang, Mountain), a wave-high: 1,00-1;24m a periodic time:4-5 sec a wave-length: 24m a wave-velocity: 5m/sec a maximum wave-hight: 2.30m 4. The result of water depth investigation, as for same depth line, water area was 7.30, ㎢ for 9.20㎢ of tatal area of internal harbor 2-5m as the broadest water depth was 6.62㎢(75%) for 9.02㎢. the bar area was 19% 5. During five padt years, the coastal sands that amount to about 600,000-1,600,000㎡ were drifted annually, The accumulation amount of sand at the year of flood is more in creasea than the common year without flood. 6. Gun San harbor was largely burried by the coatal drift movement of the main route and Jang hang was scoured. Dredging qumtity 1,374,333㎥ necessited to conservate the route in estuary below 6m of the base water level. 7. The coastal drift movement of estuary as the tibal compartment, being of fected by the tidal current, was liguid frequently. It was related with flood period and was necessitated irreguler buried quntity. Being costed very much as dredging wark for conservating the route, We must extent the harbor institution to remove the butied quntity naturally and it consted 69,000,000 Won.

        암반절취사면의 안정해석

        To design the safe and rational rock slope, several rock slopes of roads in Kang-won area were analyzed, and the following results were obtained ; 1. The results were analyzed by stereographic projection at the rock slope that the joint was developed. All of the sloped which were designed by standard slope of rock was not considered that the joints were unstable. 2. The relation of rainfall and slope failure, as well as the danger of failure, was very high when the maximum hourly rainfall was larger than 20mm and when there was a 2-day cumulative rainfall that was larger than 200mm. 3. In the design of rock slope, operated by the stereographic projection considering discontinuity. If turn out unstable, it should be analyzed carefully using the limit equilibrium method. 4. In the design of rock slope, it is desirable to consider the discontinuity of rock(joint, bedding, fault).
