Presently it becomes deeper underground excavation with rapid growth of industrial and gravitation of the population. By purpose of cut-off, impervious, and ground strengthening etc., grouting is used. But it is difficult to check impregnation effect because grouting operate in under ground. Up to this day, many methods of inspection have been designed, but these methods is not trusted. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to confirm to ground improvement effect by using temperature measurement. From the result, the more sensor adjoin impregnation tube, the more temperature increases.

The stability of cutting slopes is important in construction field. Especially house, buildings and highway located in slopes are opened at slope failure. Therefore various methods for slope stability have been suggested except environment aspects. Nowadays soil bio-engineering techniques have become well known throughout the world. The prevention against slope failure increases for environment-friendly aspects in korea. Most environment-friendly techniques have fault weakness in durability, short resistance for failure and so on. In this study, the case study is carried out to evaluate stability of slope to investigate prevention methods in environment-friendly slope. Uniaxial compression test, point load test, slaking and absorption test were carried out to study engineering characteristics of conglomerate and red shale.
