This study develops a 600-GHz band array detector in a 65-nm CMOS technology. The unit pixel detector is based on a common-gate differential pair integrated with an on-chip differential patch antenna. A detector array was completed by arranging 36 pixels in a 6×6 configuration and integrating switches for row/column selection and signal path. The array exhibited average responsivity and NEP (noise equivalent power) of 1,320 V/W and 114 pW/Hz0.5 , respectively. Imaging experiments were conducted at approximately 600 GHz by utilizing the developed array detector.

"Ongsan Gangmok" is a book which reforms the way of administration of countries. The previous researches are two reference manual of this book, written by Bae Hyun-sook, the researcher of the National Library of Korea and Baek Jin-woo, Department of Overseas Korean Studies Data Center. Those only introduced the overall content and format of the book, but did not provide any information of author and the time book written. But there were some clues to estimate about the author and the period of writing. The basis for estimating the author and the book written are the contents of the chapter four and five, through this contents I could find out following results. First, the author of this book is the man in the late 19th century. the author mentioned about patrol and signal fire in chapter five, and those should be organized well before the war outbreak. And he also asserted that importance of telegram, this means the author lives when the signal and telegram coexist. As the time the equipment appears were 1885 and the signal was abolished was 1895, I could figure out this book must be written between 1885 and 1895. Second, the author was a warrior studied traditional knowledge of Confucianism and historical knowledge. He introduced himself as a humble rank man in preface of the book. He cited not only many books about Confucianism, and also about military strategy and tactics belongs to book name “Mugyung Chil seo”. He firstly quoted the text of those books and insisted his thinking at the after it. He also emphasized that a warrior should be a higher rank than an ordinary people because they are in charge of protecting the country. and he also mentioned that regardless what he rank, if he or she have brave and outstanding martial ability, they should be highly awarded. Third, the author is a Korean. He mentioned the great scholar of Joseon Dynasty “Mr. Yulgok” and the martial book named “Muyedobotongji”, “Byeonghakjinam” published in Joseon Dynasty. At the end of the book, he cited two examples the record of the king of Sui and Tang Dynasty, which is about the defeated by Goguryeo, one of the country in Three Kingdom Period. In this book, the author presented ways to overcome crisis on 19th century, such as the increase of the national army. It is worth that he shared the similar ideological line with 19th East Asian intellectuals, and he accepted Western scientific technique rather than rejecting there culture and technology. It is also meaningful that he showed a message to Western forces by mentioning the result of war due to individual greed, and also reminded past record of overcoming the crisis to the public. However, he still presents an abstract solution that does not fit reality, it reveals the limitation that he was an intellectual who could not escape from Neo-Confucianism.

This article examines the Korean plant common names recorded in Joseon singmul hyangmyeongjip, the first botanical book based on modern botanical science, published in 1937. The principles and standards of de- termining Korean plant common names were explained in the “Determina- tion Principles” at the beginning of Joseon singmul hyangmyeongjip. This ar- ticle also studies “The Review of Joseon’s Common Names on the Plants of Joseon” written in 1937, which briefly discussed the origin of Korean plant common name focusing on the Asteraceae plant distributed in the Korean peninsula before the publication of Joseon singmul hyangmyeongjip. While the scientific name, an internationally recognized universal term, is a world- wide communication tool through which plants and species are identified, the Korean plant common name would be a summarized expression, reflect- ing the relationship between the Korean people and the plants distributed throughout the Korean peninsula, from the perspective of general public. Although both names are based on science, they are based on different principles. According to our research, the authors of Joseon singmul hyang- myeongjip focused on the plant names most commonly used among the Korean people, supplementing those terms with historic names recorded in the literature.
