한국 작업치료사의 직무 관련 스트레스 대처전략

목적 : 본 연구는 국내 작업치료사의 직무스트레스 및 스트레스 대처전략을 조사하고 그 연관성을 분석함으로써 향후 직무스트레스를 효율적으로 관리하는데 있어 기초자료를 제공 하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 대한작업치료사협회에 등록 된 지회 및 남녀비율을 고려하여 할당표본추출방법으로 대상자를 선정하였으며, 설문조사는 2016년 10월 1일부터 31일까지 1개월 간 온라인 설문을 통해 실시하였다. 작업치료사 450명의 응답 중 미 응답 항목이 있는 44부를 제외하고 406명의 응답을 분석하였다. 결과 : 작업치료사의 직무스트레스는 직무요구, 보상부적절, 조직체계요인이 평균 이상으로 높았고, 그 중 직무요구가 직무스트레스의 주요인이었다. 작업치료사가 주로 사용하는 스트레스 대처전략은 소망적사고, 문제중심, 사회적지지 추구, 감정완화 전략 순이었다. 직무스트레스와 대처전략 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 문제중심과 사회적지지 추구 전략과 같은 적극적인 스트레스 대처전략을 많이 사용할수록 전체 직무스트레스는 감소하는 통계적으로 유의한 음의 상관관계(r=-.37, -.30, p<.01)를 나타냈다. 결론 : 작업치료사는 직무스트레스를 회피하는 것 보다는 정확한 원인을 파악하여 자신에게 적합한 대처 방안을 모색할 필요가 있으며, 근무기관에서는 효율적인 인력관리와 대처전략 지지를 위해 근무시간의 유연성 및 동료 간 네트워킹 형성 기회 제공 등을 통해 작업치료서비스의 질을 높이길 기대한다. Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between job-related stress and coping strategies of Korean occupational therapists, and to suggest strategies for managing such stress. Methods : The survey participants were recruited from the database of the Korea Association of Occupational Therapists, and Quota sampling was used based on the gender ratio and geographic areas. The survey was conducted from October 1 to 31, 2016 through an online survey system. A total of 450 occupational therapists responded, and 406 responses were analyzed, with 44 incomplete responses. Results : Job-related stress such as work demand, lack of reward, and the organizational system were higher than the total average. The main factor of job-related stress was work demand. The strategies for stress management commonly used by occupational therapists were wishful thinking, problem-focused coping, social support, and emotional relaxation in that order. On the other hand, emotional relaxation, which is a passive strategy, was relatively low in use. Statistically significant relationships (r=-.37,-.30, p<.01) were found between active stress management strategies (problem-based and social support) and job related stress. Conclusion : Occupational therapists need to identify the cause of job related stress, and establish individual coping strategies rather than avoiding them. In addition, the work place should promote quality occupational therapy service through various work environment improvement programs supporting job-related stress management.

조선시대 여자 속곳형 바지를 활용한 유아 잠옷 바지 디자인 개발

Interest in traditional culture has been increasing due to globalization. We need to create fashion items using Korea folk culture like the Hanbok. In this paper, the design development of toddler’s pajamas was attempted by using women’s Sokgot pants, which were worn by women in Joseon Dynasty period. The study involved a review of literature and an investigation of past relics. Traditional women’s Sokgot pants had a ‘mu’ or ‘dang’ in the crotch which is called ‘the mit’ now. The opening of the mit will be used for designing toddler’s pajamas. Design suggestions for four styles of toddler’s pajamas, which reflect the formative characteristic of women’s Sokgot pants, have been created. Research outcomes are as follow: the characteristics of Ran-pants are applied to design 1 and design 2. There have pleats along the waistband of the toddler’s pajamas, making the Mu more hidden. Pleats of the waist part are achieved by using an elastic, which also makes the pajamas easier to fit and to wear. The characteristics of Gaedanggo, of which the crotch is opened, are applied to design 3 and design 4. The opened crotch is applied so that toddlers can relieve themselves easily while they are wearing these pajamas. There is also an opening in the centerline of the front Mu in design 4 which gives additional functionality and comfort. This work shows that items of traditional folk dress can be used to make present fashion items.

종이공예활동이 만성분열정동장애의 작업적 참여에 미치는 효과: 사례연구

목적 : 본 연구는 만성분열정동장애 환자의 작업적 참여에 종이공예활동이 미치는 영향과 그에 대한효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 본 연구의 대상자는 국립병원에 입원 중인 만성분열정동장애를 진단받은 46세 여성으로 주5회 3주간 종이공예활동에 참여하였다. Canadian Occupational Performance Measure(COPM)으로 대상자와의 면담을 통해 종이공예활동 중 백조접기를 선택하였고 활동 수행에 인지적, 신체적 문제가 없는지 확인하기 위해 Hand Function Test, Mini -Mental State Examination (MMSE-K)을 실시하였다. 심리적 상태를 평가하기 위해 Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS), Beck Anxiety Index(BAI), Self Esteem Scale(SES)를 실시하였고, 종이접기활동을 수행하는 대상자의 태도의 변화를 확인하고자 Comprehensive Occupational Therapy Evaluation Scale(COTE scale)을 실시한 후 3주간 종이공예활동을 제공하였으며 후에 재평가를 실시하였다. 결과 : COPM의 수행도는 2.25점에서 7점으로, 만족도는 5.25점에서 9.25점으로 각각 4.75점과 4점이 향상되었다. Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale의 점수는 55점에서 38점으로 감소하였고, Beck Anxiety Index(BAI)는 12점에서 6점으로 감소하였으며, Self Esteem Scale(SES)점수는 23점에서 36점으로 향상되었고, COTE scale은 14점에서 8점으로 긍정적인 변화를 보였다. 결론 : 만성분열정동장애 환자에게 종이공예활동을 제공한 결과 작업적 참여에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 만성분열정동장애 환자들의 작업적 참여를 통한 성공적인 사회적 복귀를 위해 작업치료 중재법으로 다양한 종이공예활동이 고려될 수 있을 것이다. Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of paper arts on occupational participation of a client with chronic schizoaffective disorder. Methods: The client was a female with chronic schizoaffective disorder. The intervention was provided five times a week for three weeks. The Canadian Occupational Performance Measure(COPM) was utilized to set up the goals and the client was evaluated with Hand Function Test and Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE-K) for inclusion criteria. The Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS), Beck Anxiety Index(BAI), and Self Esteem Scale(SES) were administered for psychological changes. The Comprehensive Occupational Therapy Evaluation Scale(COTE scale) was used to detect the attitudinal changes. The reassessment was conducted after the intervention. Results: The client’s COPM performance score increased by 4.75, and satisfaction score increased by 4. The score of Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS) decreased from 55 to 38, Beck Anxiety Index score decreased from 12 to 8, and Self Esteem Scale(SES)score increased from 23 to 36. The COTE scale changed from 14 to 8 reflecting positive attitude. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that the paper arts had an effect on occupational participation of the client with chronic schizoaffective disorder. Therefore, occupational therapists should consider a various paper arts to promote occupational participation of the clients with chronic schizoaffective disorder for social adaptation.

전통복식을 응용한 게임 캐릭터 의상 디자인 개발: 테일즈런너의 ‘흥부와 놀부1’ 게임을 중심으로

‘Heongbu and Nolbu 1’ is a series of the on-line game ‘Tales Runner.’ It is based on a traditional Korean fairy tale. However, the game characters in Heongbu and Nolbu 1 wear casual clothes even though the game is set in the Joseon Dynasty. Therefore, this paper presents proposed game characters clothes based on traditional Korean costumes from the Joseon Dynasty. This work should help inspire gamers and game designers with the beauty of Korean traditional costumes and familiarize them with an aspect of Korean people’s identity. A literature review of online games and game characters was carried out, and game characters’ clothes were analyzed. The design motifs of historical relics of the Joseon era were evaluated. Three styles, one traditional and two “fusion” styles integrating traditional and modern elements were proposed for each of the 4 characters: Chowon, Ruff, Bada and Abell. The chulrik and jurip were used as design motifs for Chowon. A traditional chulrik, short chulriks and pants are suggested. Second, the dongari and jeonrip were used as design motifs for Ruff. A traditional dongdari, sapok pants, deck pants and a vest are suggested. Third, the jeogori and chima were used as design motifs for Bada. A traditional female hanbok, arm warmers, short-sleeved jeogori and dress are suggested. Fourth, the dang-ui and daeran-chima were used as design motifs for Abell. A traditional dang-ui and daeran-chima, blouse, skirt, jumper and tight Bermuda shorts are suggested. The length, shape and color were converted into new styles, but some traditional elements such as the git and goreum were retained.

디지털 한복 디자인 연구: 온라인게임을 중심으로

Online game digital hanbok has an aesthetic value in a digital culture and is useful for developing a digital hanbok design for online games as well as other industries. This thesis analyzes its attire and design composition elements to design a 3D digital hanbok by utilizing its formative characteristics. The literature review defines them as transmutability, virtuality, fictionality, reality and playfulness based on the characteristics of digital media, late digital generation and online games. We analyzed 471 images from 50 online games. Sonmaep was used for making 3D digital hanboks. Its attire was grouped into jogori·pants, jogori·chima, po and armor. Its design composition elements were classified as pleat, layering mu or hemline, mu·sub·gyeopmagi·mitbadae, vent, git·dongjung and decoration elements. The results feature 8 digital hanbok designs. Reality designs are replicas of jogori·daegugo for men and po for women in the period of the Three States. Virtuality designs are slightly changed shapes of yoseoncheolrik for men and white jogori·yellow chima for women in the Koryo Dynasty. Fictionality designs are casual fusion armors for men and women as a hyperbolic form. Playfulness designs are doll costumes for men and jogori·chima for women as a kitsch and childish style. The concept of online game digital hanbok escapes from conceptual limitations of traditional hanboks. This result can be used for designing digital hanbok contents in various industrial parts.

A high speed train passing through a station may have undesired effects to passengers on platform due to abrupt pressure transients. Therefore it is very important to reduce the possible degree of danger by installing partition walls in passing lanes in designing the stations having passing train. In the present study, a pressure load to a passenger on platform is studied for the cases of various heights of the partition wall to assess the effectiveness of the wall on the passenger safety. From the results, it is seen that the pressure load on a passenger may be largely reduced by the partition wall The heights of the partition wall for various passing speed are also studied based on the safety regulation.

Peroxisomal dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases

Peroxisomes and their (patho-)physiological importance in heath and disease have attracted increasing interest during last few decades. Together with mitochondria, peroxisomes comprise key metabolic platforms for oxidation of various fatty acids and redox regulation. In addition, peroxisomes contribute to bile acid, cholesterol, and plasmalogen biosynthesis. The importance of functional peroxisomes for cellular metabolism is demonstrated by the marked brain and systemic organ abnormalities occuring in peroxisome biogenesis disorders and peroxisomal enzyme deficiencies. Current evidences indicate that peroxisomal function is declined with aging, with peroxisomal dysfunction being linked to early onset of multiple age-related diseases including neurodegenerative diseases. Herein, we review recent progress toward understanding the physiological roles and pathological implications of peroxisomal dysfunctions, focusing on neurodegenerative disease.

Attenuation of Ab toxicity by promotion of mitochondrial fusion in neuroblastoma cells by liquiritigenin

Mitochondrial dynamics control mitochondrialmorphology and function, and aberrations in these areassociated with various neurodegenerative diseasesincluding Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. Toidentify novel regulators of mitochondrial dynamics, wescreened a phytochemical library and identified liquiritigeninas a potent inducer of mitochondrial fusion. Treatmentwith liquiritigenin induced an elongatedmitochondrial morphology in SK-N-MC cells. In addition,liquiritigenin rescued mitochondrial fragmentation inducedby knockout of mitochondrial fusion mediators such asMfn1, Mfn2, and Opa1. Furthermore, we found that treatmentwith liquiritigenin notably inhibited mitochondrialfragmentation and cytotoxicity induced by Ab in SK-NMCcells.
