We find various spieces of plant in Mt. Solak because it is one of the highest, steep, primeval mountains. Therefore it has been our interest to introduce the frola preceeding last three years starting from 1957 till 1959. The list of 109 family 642 spieces enclosed herewith are the result of our expedition during the last three years. I visited Mt. Solak three times once every year during the period and tried to show vertical line of plant distribution and its frequency. The plant enclosed in the list are glowing over the zones consisted of submountain region, tree belt, subtree belt, shrub belt, and floral zone. There are certain spieces grow only in the particular zone bar there are some that is found spread over two or three or sometimes five different zones. There are tremendous amount of forestry products but due to the lack of transportation they are not utilized efficiently except wild giuseng medical herb, mushroom and produce of bee husbandry, total revenue of which amounts one hundred million Hwan per year. Remarkable kind of spieces of alpine plant are listed below. 1. Hanabusaya asiatica Nakai. 2. Adenophora Lamarkii Fischer. 3. Anemone narcissiflora Linne var. umbellulifera Nakai. 4. Rhododendeum Fauriei Franchet var. rufeseens Nakai. 5. Thuia Koraiensis Nakai. 6. Spiraca pubescens Turczaninow var. lasiocarpa Nakai. 7. Salix hallasanensis Leveille. 8. Betula costata Trautvetter. 9. Pinus pumila Regel.
PIV 기법을 이용한 원주 후류의 난류유동에 관한 실험적 연구

원통형 실린더 후류의 난류유동을 2-D PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry) 기법을 이용하여 실험적으로 연구하였다. 실험에 이용된 Reynolds 수는 Re=10,000, 30,000, 50,000 그리고 70,000이다. 측정 장치는 CCD 카메라, Ar - ion 레이즈, 이메이지 보드 그리고 레이즈 프롭 등을 사용하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 속도벡터, 시간평균 축방향속도, 난류강도 등을 구하였다. An experimental study was performed turbulent flow behind a circular cylinder by using 2-D PIV technique. The Reynolds number investigated were 10,000, 30,000, 50,000 and 70,000. The measuring system consists of CCD camera, Ar-ion laser, image grabber and a host computer. The mean velocity vector, time mean axial velocity, turbulent intensity and Reynolds shear stress along the test tube were measured.

Natural convection heat transfer in a horizontal annulus from an inner tube with two vertical fins has been studied for the effects of dimensionless fin length and Rayleigh number. The maximum local Nusselt number of inner tube was obtained at .theta. = 145.deg. and that of outer cylinder at .theta. = 0.deg. for the case of $l_{F}$=0.3 Local Nusselt number distributions for the lower fins show higher values than that of the upper fins. The mean Nusselt number of inner tube was increased with the values of dimensionless fin length. The mean Nusselt number can be represented in an exponential function of Grashof number at various fin lengths. As compared with experimental and numerical results, isotherms and local Nusselt number show good agreement.t.
北漢山의 植物資源調査硏究 : 第1部 管束植物 Resources in Mt. Buk-Han PartⅠTracheophyta

Mt. Buk-han is located in the northern side of Seoul, Korea; whose flara has been seriously destroyed due to the population increase of the city the constant Mountain climbers. The Plants of this mountain were first collected by Gotlsche, C. in 1883 when he collecetd plants in the entire vicinity of Seoul, and the flora of this mountain has been partly surveyed by several scholars, but no one has ever comprehensively surveyed the flora of this mountain as such. The writers is now presenting the results of their 9 times survey made from 1961 to 1962 as a part I of the entire flora specified as Tracheophyta. The result of this study is as follows: 1) The plants of Mt. Buk-han are composed of 114 families, 228 genera, 347 species, 94 varieties, 9 forma and 450 kind in all. 2) As the population of Seoul City has increased and their footprints got frequent, a disorder of the original flora of this mountain has occurred; Buxus Koreana, Utricularia bifida, Lactuca chelidonifolia, Sasamorpha purpurascens var. borealis have been disappeared consequently. 3) Comparing the flora of Mt. Buk-han with that of other mountains, 262 species were in common with Mt. Hanla (Ir. Querpart), 142 species are with Ir. Dagelet (Ulneung), 226 species with Mt. Sulak, and 18 species with Mt. Baek-doo. These facts show that the sothern floral elements such as Cocculus trilobus, Akebia quinata, Achgranthes japonica, Zelkova serrata, Viburnum erosum var. punctatum are believed to thrive in Mt. Buk-han which is in accord with northern line of temperate zone T. Nakai had named by means of climate of Korea.
