The anemometer measurements were obtained from stationary hot-film probe mounted between the forward and rear rotors of a model CRP which rotated the forward and different directions. Data collection was done at several locations between rotors. To establish rotor-rotor interaction flow mechanism that contributes noise increasement of the CRP, methods of simple and the double conditional sampling have been developed. The former uses to find similarity of the wake the later fixes the forward rotor position in time or space and permits averaging the mean wake at any fixed rotor angular location. The variation of the forward wake is strongly depending upon the rear rotor location.

To enhance aerodynamic efficiency of the Smart Un-manned Aerial Vehicle(SUAV) during the transition period, wingtip fence is attached at the end of wing. The application of wingtip fence is to reduce the effect of the separated flow caused by the nacelle on the wing especially when the tilting angle of nacelle is more than 30 degrees. To compare the effect of with and without wingtip fence, flow visualization and measurement of the aerodynamic coefficients using the pyramidal type external balance are done. Result of forces and moments measurement shows that the slope of lift coefficient is increased 18% and rolling moment of SUAV especially 60 & 90-degree tilting is changed in favorable manners with wingtip fence.

ACN(Aircraft Classification Number) is allocated by marketing group during early stage of aircraft design phase and is a critical parameter to decide whether the designed aircraft can be landed or not in a certain airport. The loading on the main landing gear wheels, selection of main landing gear tire and estimation of ACNs for flexible and rigid pavements were done for the proposed medium-class aircraft. The estimated ACN values are compared with the similar class aircraft. And PCN(Pavement Classification Number) values of airport in Korea are surmmarized. Results showed that the currently proposed medium-class aircraft can land any airport in Korea.

Several nonstiochiometric oxide spinel ferrites were prepared by the ceramic method and measured their hyperfine magnetic fields of each sublattice by Mӧssbauer spectroscopy at variable temteratures. With their reduced hyperfine fields obtained with the hyperfine fields at 0˚K, the superexchange interactions between magnetic cations were caculated by the molecular field theory well known for ferrimagnetism. The values of exchange integrals on the nonstoichiometric samples were different from these on the typical spinel ferrites. This means that the vacancies amd the nonmagnetic cations included in the samples affect directly or indirectly the superexchange interactions between the magnetic ions.
