This research presents the manufacturing process and the structural strength assessment for the hybrid composite carbody. In this study, the manufacturing process for carbody with length of 23m was explained. The composite carbody was fabricated as one body using autoclave with length of 30m and 5m diameter. The structural behavior of the carbody under the 3-point supporting and the natural frequency were evaluated as well. In addition, the test results were compared with the numerical one. From the tests, the structural strength of the hybrid composite carbody was assessed.

We analysed the clinical datas obtained from 10 patients who underwent reconstructive microsurgery using venous autografts(male, 9 : female, 1 : range of age, 18-70 years old). The autologous veins were used to lengthen the pedicle in 6 cases. In the rest 4 cases, we used the autologous veins to reconstruct the defect of radial artery, lacrimal canaliculi, Wharton s duct and to guide the nerve regeneration, respectively. A length of long(7 cases) or small(3 cases) saphenous veins were harvested. Various types of venous graft with long saphenous vein and its branches(Medial femoral vein and external pudendal vein) were designed, including Y-, Loop- and interpositioning-type. These designs were very helpful when there were inadequate pedicle length, unsuitable recipient vessels. We could observe the patency in the repaired Wharton s duct and lacrimal canaliculi with good salivation and lacrimal drainage. Sensory was restored with the venous tubular guide. In conlusion, venous autografting was most reliable(success rate 90%) and useful technique that might be used in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
This paper explains the fatigue test for a composite train carbody. The composite carbody with length of 23m was manufactured as a sandwich structure composed of a aluminium honeycomb core and woven fabric carbon/epoxy face. In order to evaluate fatigue strength of the composite carbody, the carbody was excited by two 50-ton capacity hydraulic actuators. The excitation frequency was determined by natural frequency evaluation test under full weight condition. The test was conducted for 2x106cycles. During the fatigue test, fatigue cracks of the composite carbody and steel underframe were inspected by the nondestructive tests using X-ray and liquid penetrant. From test tests, no fatigue crack was detected.
Damage tolerance under Mode I deformation of the carbon fabric/epoxy composite for a tilting train carbody was evaluated through Mode I interlaminar fracture. The specimens were made of plain woven fabric with epoxy resin. An artificial delamination was fabricated by inserting 12.5㎛ or 25.0㎛ thick Teflon film at the one end of the specimen. Delamination propagating behaviors and interlaminar fracture surfaces were examined through an optical travelling scope and a scanning electron microscope. According to the results, abruptly unstable crack propagation such as stick-slip phenomena was observed and interlaminar fracture behaviors were affected on the location and the morphology of a delamination.
This study was experimental test of edgewise compression properties for aluminum(type-50XX) sandwich panel with thermal environment and surface treatment using adhesive film. There was decreasing 10%-peel strength after thermal environment. Through compressive buckling mode know to seen of properties of adhesive, sheet and core strength. First case of Chromate to aluminum sheet, know low shear strength of adhesive through buckling mode but case of Beomite to aluminum sheet, know than thin sheet and core low strength through buckling mode.
In order to prevent the global warming, Korea has had a ratification to the Kyoto Protocol which is specified the air pollution level should be lower the condition of the year 1990 until the year 2012, in hence the traffic system produced mostly the air pollution has been faced to big change. According to the reinforcement of higher level for environmental condition, alternative way to the conventional traffic system is required, so that is fuel cell technology of commercialized R&D program used by hydrogen fuel, and further for the optimized high energy efficiency it has been considered the advanced development of traffic system used the conventional railroad system. But it is moreover expected the huge amount of initial investment, so at the current, next new traffic system is needed. This study is for the improvement of urban traffic system in domestic which should be seriously changed for environmental friendly through the reduction of air pollution by fuel gases of vehicle and human convenience to be easily approached. In hence it is proposed the development of superior high efficiency-"Fuel-cell Rubber-tired Tram" system manufactured by the composite car-body.
This study was performed the heat transportation ratio of three types of the following sandwich panel by KS F 2278(2003) ; Type #1 : Carbon/epoxy Aluminum Honeycomb and Balsa Core Sandwich Panel(Thickness : 37㎜), Type #2 : Carbon/epoxy Aluminum Honeycomb Core Sandwich Panel(Thickness : 57㎜), and Type #3 : Carbon/epoxy Aluminum Honeycomb Core Sandwich Panel(Thickness : 37㎜). Also was performed the heat transportation of next three types of the following sandwich panel by KS F2277(2002) ; Type #4 and #5 : 27㎜, and 35㎜ thick-Aluminum Honeycomb Sandwich Panels, and Type #6 : 27㎜ thick-Foaming Aluminum Sandwich Panel. It is the larger area between the skin and core, the heat transportation ratio is the higher, and when it is composed of the hybrid composite structure, good insulation property was shown.
In this study, bearing response in single lap riveted joint is investigated by menas of single lap shear specimens with different types of adherend and fastener. Single lap shear specimen consists of adherend of SUS403 and carbon fabric/epoxy composite. Rivet of Avdel 2691 with 9.6㎜ diameter is used. Two types of fastener in single lap riveted joint are considered. One is a single lap shear specimen with single fastener, and the other is a single lap shear specimen with double fasteners. Especially, in case of single lap shear specimen with single fastener, the width of the specimen is varied as 2D, 3D, 4D, 6D at a fixed edge distance of 3D. Also the edge distance of the specimen is varied as 1.0D, 1.5D, 2.0D, 2.5D, 3.0D at a fixed width of 4D. In case of single lap shear specimen with double fasteners, two types of specimen are considered. One is a specimen with the width of 6D and edge distance of 3D. The other is a specimen with the width of 4D and edge distance of 2D. Here D designates the hole diameter for riveted joint.
In this study, mode Ⅰ interlaminar fracture phenomena of carbon fabric/epoxy composite for tilting train were investigated. Specimens were 25㎜×180㎜×4.7㎜ with an initial artificial delamination of 65㎜ at one end. This delamination with the thickness of 12.5㎛ and 25㎛ (teflon film) was used. Mode Ⅰ interlaminar fracture toughness was measured using the double cantilever beam and the fractured surfaces were examined through a scanning electron microscope. The experimental results obtained in this study would be applicable in the design and structural analysis of the composite structures.
저자들은 다른 증상 없이 지속적인 현미경적 미세혈뇨만 관찰되어 시행한 신장 전산화단층촬영에서 발견된 뒤 호두까기 증후군 증례를 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. 대부분 증례의 경우 복통이나 단백뇨 또는 육안적 혈뇨 등 다양한 증상을 동반하고 있었지만 이 증례는 증상 없이 우연히 발견되었다는 점이 주목할 만하다고 생각된다. 이러한 특징으로 인하여 아직까지 명확한 진단 기준, 발생 기전, 예후 및 치료에 대하여 밝혀지지 않은 것이 많아 추후 지속적인 연구 및 추적 관찰이 필요하다. Nutcracker syndrome (NCS) refers to left renal vein compression with impaired blood outflow. The etiology of NCS has been attributed to various anatomic anomalies. Posterior NCS is caused by compression of the retroaortic left renal vein between the aorta and spine. The classic symptoms of NCS include left flank pain with gross or microscopic hematuria. The frequency and severity of the syndrome vary from asymptomatic microhematuria to severe pelvic congestion. For this reason, diagnosis of NCS is difficult and often delayed. Here, we report a case of posterior NCS that was incidentally discovered. (Korean J Med 2019;94:221-224)
