The main objective of this study was 1) to define the effects of operating variations on digester performance and 2) to define the effects of anaerobic digestion on sludge dewaterability. For this purpose, laboratory scale high-rate anaerobic digesters were designed and operated under various conditions. Feed strength, feed composition, and solids detention time were chosen as primary control variables, and each was varied in separate experimental sets while the others were held at a standard value. Digestability of sewage sludge was insensitive to the change of feed strength and solids detention time, but quite sensitive to the ratio of activated sludge in feed sludge. Digestion generally improved dewaterability, but often in complicated ways. For example, a small fraction of activated sludge in feed sludge led to a great improvement in dewaterability than no activated sludge, but digestion of 100% activated sludge led to worse dewaterability. Increased detention time lessened the improvement and other variables had lesser effects on dewaterability.

The purpose of this study is to find the functions of Coupled Amplifier and its Classes. The results of the study are as follows; In the case of Audio Frequency Amplifier, Class A is less distortional than Class B and C. Class B is found to make more output power and more Ampli�fing efficiency than the Class A does although its output power has some dis~ tortions. Because of these phenomena Class B is employed as the Push-Pull Am�plifier .Class C is found to be unsuitable for Audio Frequency Amplifier but in the case of high frequency Amplifier the tunning circuit of which is connected to plate circuit, it makes expected frequency and so it is used for Transmission Frequency Doubler.
