Main function of the Press forming Machine is the forming for plates. The head of the Press forming machine consist of several parts. It was named Press forming_contraction and Press forming_expansion according to formability of plates. Aluminium and Titanum plates are forming by using the Press forming machine. In this study, we analyzed sheet metal forming including plastic deformation and the contact pressure in the bearing. Finite element analysis results of Press forming_contraction and Press forming_expansion show the similar results of the actual specimen plates and the bearing contact pressures show the acceptable level of stress in both aluminum and titanium specimens.

This paper presents a hall device structure for improve hall sensor sensitivity using in a CMOS process. Hall device sensitivity is proportional to hall current (inverse proportional to magnetic filed and bias current). The hall current presented by (RS + 3RD)/RS × RD from equivalent circuit. The proposed cross shaped hall device has a low RS, and high sensitivity. The proposed hall device is simulated in a 3-dimensional model simulator in COMSOL Multiphysics, with 0.35 μm CMOS process parameters. The hall device prototype fabricated in 0.35 μm CMOS process. The measurement result is as following: the maximum sensitivity is approximately 12.6 %/T @ 20mT and 12 μA bias current.

Wireless power transmission technology has been studied variety. Recently, wireless power transmission technology used by resonance and magnetic induction field is applied to various fields. However, magnetic resonance and inductive coupling are have drawbacks - power transmission distance is short. Microwave transmission and accept techniques have been developed to overcome short distance. However, improvement in efficiency is required. This paper, propose a high-efficiency microwave energy acceptor IC(EAIC). Suggested EAIC is consists of RF-DC converter and DC-DC converter. Wide Input power range is -15 dBm ∼ 20 dBm. And output voltage is boosted up to 5.5 V by voltage boost-up circuit. EAIC can keep the output voltage constant. Available efficiency of RF-DC converter is 95.5 % at 4 dBm input. And DC-DC efficiency is 94.79 % at 1.1 mA load current. Fully EAIC efficiency is 90.5 %.

Roll forming technology has a problem in that it depends only on experience without accurate data in the actual field. To solve this problem, it is necessary to procure accurate data during the roll forming process. To this end, we determined the operating force and the material thickness by implementing several changes to those variables during an experiment. This study compares the FEA results and experimental results. Experimental results were used for the basic data of the design. The FEA results show that the roll forming machine is operating accurately and safely. And, a comparison of the results shows that the design of the automatic roll forming machine is operating in the right way. This design of an automatic roll forming machine will be helpful for many areas of the industry.

In this paper, a novel resonator is designed using the resonant characteristic of the defected ground structure(DGS). To confirm the validity of the designed DGS resonator, two kinds of oscillators using DGS resonator and λ/4 microstrip line have been designed and measured in the same configuration except for the configuration of the resonator for the examination of the reduction of phase noise by the DGS. At the fundamental frequency of 8.6㎓, 4.83 ㏈ output power and -91.7 ㏈c @100㎑ phase noise have been measured for oscillator with DGS resonator, and 5㏈m output power and -72.78㏈c @100㎑ phase noise have been measured for one with λ/4 micros trip line. Measurement shows reduced phase noise by 18.92 ㏈ in oscillator with DGS resonator compared to one with λ/4 microstrip line.
