Electrically assisted (EA) springback reduction of grade 2 titanium alloys is demonstrated through u-bending experiments. A single pulse of electric current having a short duration of less than 0.5 sec is applied to a specimen during u-bending. The effect of the electric current condition on the resultant springback is then evaluated. The experimental result shows that the springback of the selected grade 2 titanium alloy could almost be eliminated through application of electric current with a duration less than 0.5 sec prior to unloading. Lastly, an exemplary industrial application of EA springback control is presented.

We are analyzing the effects of how does college student's view of unification and peace changes by method and contents of unification education. We invited progressive persons who have unrestricted thoughts about N.Korea and took parts in actual business for exchange between South and North Korea. The contents and style of this lecture are different to ordinary unification education. we also analyzed difference between before and after the students who took the class about awareness toward unification and peace. The result of analysis is as follows. It showed that unification education is improved, effected much student's recognition of unification and peace. Especially, the seven questions were 95% or more, nine questions were 99% in level of significance except five questions that are reason of unification, changing direction of N. Korea, friendly state toward unification and withdrawal of US army from Korea. By the result, we assume that the unification education effected change of student's recognition toward unification and peace. But, we can't measure which one effected more between method and contents of education. In conclusion we assume that change in method and contents of unification education influenced recognition of students. And these changes will greatly effect those who are called 'The New Generation'
적과 복숭아 추출물의 유용 성분 분석 및 추출조건별 기능성 소재 활용

Peaches are one of the most abundant cultivated fruits in Korea. There have been many studies on using it as functional materials; however, there has been few reports on immature peaches collected during the thinning out process. Herein we analyzed useful substances extracted under specific conditions from of thinned-out peaches and tested them for the suitability as cosmetic materials. NMR analysis revealed 3-O-cafffeoyl quinic acid as the major substance in the extracts. At PH-10, it showed positive response similar to ascorbic acid, used as a control, in antioxidant activity tests like DPPH and ABTS+ radical scavenging tests. The elastase and collagenase inhibitory activity tests showed minor wrinkle improvements for all the test groups. No antibacterial response was observed for five germ groups. These results show that immature peaches are applicable as functional materials because the major constituent of its extracts (chlorogenic acid) can act as an antioxidant at high concentrations. It could be of benefit to study immature peach extracts in more detail to potentially reveal further value-adding properties.
