This treatise discussed the development and its applicability of the analytic methodology for the portfolio-based securities investment, and has reached the following conclusion. First, since current market indices such as stock prices and trading volumes reflect all the available past information, it is virtually impossible to gain extra profits by taking advantage of the past market information. Second, since current stock prices are those reflecting not only the past market information but also political/economic events, new information related to corporations and non-market information, it is hardly possible to earn extra profits by means of utilizing any kind of information that have already been made public. Third, current stock prices reflect not just publicized information but also special information discovered by the legitimate efforts made by investment professionals, and this make it impossible to raise any extra earnings by using any kind of information. This conclusion has a significance and a limitation as well in that this treatise has proposed another hypothesis that has to be verified repeatedly in accordance with changes in the type of the stock market and economic environment, together with the development process of various measures taken to cope with the complete opening up of the Korean capital market. On this point, further study and verification are to be conducted.

Background: This study aimed to investigate the protective effects of Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim pharmacopuncture on disuse muscle atrophy in the gastrocnemius muscle of rats. Methods: Thirty male 250 g Sprague-Dawley rats were distributed randomly into 3 groups. The left hindlimb immobilization was performed with casting tape for 2 weeks, and no treatment was given to the right hindlimb. Rats received pharmacopuncture and were injected daily on the BL57 with either 2 mL of Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim aqueous extract (ZM-W group), 1 mL pharmacopuncture of Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim ethanol extract (ZM-E group), or 2 mL normal saline (control group). After 2 weeks of immobilization, the weight of the whole gastrocnemius muscle was measured, and the morphology of both the left and the right gastrocnemius muscles were assessed by Hematoxylin and Eosin staining. To investigate the immobilizationinduced muscular apoptosis, the immunohistochemical analysis of BAX and Bcl-2 was carried out. Results: ZM-W and ZM-E significantly inhibited the reduction in weight of the left gastrocnemius muscle, the reduction in the left myofibrils, and the cross-sectional area of gastrocnemius, as compared with the control. Moreover, the ZM-W and ZM-E groups showed significantly reduced immunoreactivity for BAX, and increased immunoreactivity of Bcl-2 in left gastrocnemius muscle compared with the control group. Conclusion: These results suggest that Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim pharmacopuncture has protective effects against immobilization-induced muscle atrophy by regulating the activity of apoptosis-associated BAX / Bcl-2 proteins in the gastrocnemius muscle.
도심부 도보관광을 통하여 본 을지로 제조업 밀집지역의 관람공간 특성에 관한 연구- 중구 도보관광 ‘을지유람’을 중심으로 -

This study focuses on the phenomenon of manufacturing district in the inner city of Euljiro District being a subject of sightseeing without losing its original functional properties. ‘Eulji-Uram’ is a walking tour program that links various kinds of manufacturing firms, manufacturing-related retail shops, famous local restaurant and artists studios into one single route. This phenomenon implies a radical change in perception toward industrial district from ‘disqualified’ area into ‘subject of sightseeing’. By analyzing the characteristics of ‘sightseeing-space’ of the district, the study tries to understand the phenomenon in spatial dimension. To do so, the study is composed into two stages of research. First, the study examines the general characteristics of walking tour program within the boundary of Central Area of Seoul. The study draw out the spatial typology of walking tour route in terms of formal dimension, sightseeing-element and urban configuration. In the second stage, the study concentrates specifically on walking tour ‘Eulji-Uram’, in order to analyse the spatial characteristics of sightseeing route in Manufacturing District. The research method of second stage is to analyse the spatial characteristics of sightseeing manufacturing district by dividing the district into urban-composing element and industry-composing element. ‘Urban-composing element’ focuses on the formal characteristics while ‘industry-composing element’ focuses on the functional characteristics of the district. ‘Urban-composing element’ and ‘industry-composing element’ together implies overall industry-space relationship within the districts. Basing on these analysed elements, the result of the study can be sum up into three spatial characteristics of ‘sightseeing-space’. Firstly, industry that shares similar characteristics accumulated in a specific spatial configuration, would form cluster of space that contains unique sightseeing characteristics. Secondly, array of different characteristics of space would create sets of transformative spatial elements. Lastly, establishment of sightseeing route reveals some of the extreme condition of the streets that serves particular industrial purpose.

LA-MC-ICPMS를 이용한 괘불탱에 사용된 안료의 납 동위원소 분석

회화문화재인 우리나라 괘불탱에 대한 연구는 유물의 보존 · 복원 자료 확보를 목적으로 과학적인 분석을 통해 안료의 재료 분석, 채색 기법연구 및 제작방법 등을 규명하는데 있다. 특히 동위원소 분석은 유물의 제작에 사용된 원료의 산지를 추정하는데 대표적인 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 괘불탱 제작에 사용된 채색 안료 중 연백색 안료에 대한 납 동위원소 분석을 바탕으로 안료의 산지 추정 및 괘불탱에 사용된 안료의 동일성 판별 등에 대해 검토하였다. 괘불탱에 사용된 안료는 수십 ㎛ 내외의 두께로 사용되어 기존의 습식분석으로는 채색 안료별로 구별이 어려워 공간분해능이 큰 LA-MC-ICPMS를 이용한 in-situ 분석법을 개발하여 이용하였다. 안료의 납 동위원소 분석에 사용된 LA-MC-ICPMS는 한국기초과학지원연구원의 NWR193<SUP>UC</SUP>와 Nu Plasma II를 결합된 장비를 이용하였다. 안료의 spot 분석에 이용된 spot size는 10 ~ 15㎛, ablation time은 30sec이며, 안료의 line analysis에는 analysis distance가 100㎛이고, scan speed는 5㎛/sec를 이용하였다. 분석법의 신뢰도 확보를 위해 참고물질로 확보한 연백색 및 연적색 시료에 대한 습식분석(TIMS)과 표면분석(LA-MC-ICPMS)의 정확도와 정밀도를 비교 검증한 결과 99% 내외의 높은 신뢰도를 나타냈다. 조선시대 제작된 만연사, 법주사, 통도사, 금탑사 등의 괘불탱에 사용된 연백색안료의 납 동위원소 분석을 수행하였고, 이를 통해 각 사찰의 괘불탱에 사용된 안료들의 동일성 판별 및 한반도 납동위원소 분포도를 활용하여 국내 안료 산지를 추정하였다.
