인문.사회과학 분야 교수의 연구업적물 평가에 관한 연구

본 연구는 교수의 연구 성과의 질적 수준을 제고하기 위해 인문 사회과학 분야 연구업적물의 다양한 유형을 파악하고, 현행 평가방법을 국내외 대학을 중심으로 살펴본 후에 평가 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 먼저, 문헌연구 및 관련규정 분석을 바탕으로 연구업적물의 개념과 유형, 평가 방식을 파악하였다. 그리고 국내 26개의 종합대학을 중심으로 평가 현황을 조사하고 국외 대학에 재직 중인 한국인 교수들에게 연구업적물 평가 방식에 대한 자문을 받은 후, 평가에 있어서 기본 원칙과 함께 개선 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 국내 대학에서 인문 사회과학 분야 연구자의 연구업적을 합리적으로 평가하여 연구자들의 연구 활동을 진작시키고 질적 수준을 제고하여 대학의 발전과 내실은 물론 국가 연구경쟁력을 증진시키는 데 기초자료가 될 것이다. The purpose of this study is to develop key elements of evaluating research achievements in humanities and social sciences at universities in Korea. Literature reviews and analysis of policies for faculty evaluation in domestic universities were carried to define concepts and types of research achievements. Questionnaire surveys and case studies were performed to find measures, criteria and requirements of research achievements assessment in 26 domestic universities and several foreign universities. As a result, basic principles and key elements of evaluation in research achievements that reflected quantity and quality of research were proposed. The result of this study will stimulate research activities and promote the national research competitiveness with ensuring internal stabilities in universities.

컬렉션코드를 활용한 어린이도서관 청구기호 간략화 방안에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to suggest the collection codes and simplification of call numbers for children's easy access to the children's materials. The classification schemes, author tables, expansion of classification schemes, collections codes, classification numbers used in domestic and foreign children's libraries were surveyed through questionnaires and interviewing with librarians. As a result, in foreign children's libraries, it was common practice to shelve children's materials separately into various collections and sub-collections, to mark the spine with collection code and the lead characters of the author's last name, and not to stick with their classification scheme when it comes to highly circulated children's materials such as fiction, picture book, biographies and so on. Also, in domestic children's libraries, it was found that a collection code was used a few and each call number was almost assigned by KDC number. Therefore, it was suggested that the types and codes of collection and sub-collection were divided as non-fiction, fiction, fiction/mystery, fiction/science fiction, picture book, cartoon, language, folks and fairy tales, biographies, legend, concept book, holiday, award, dinosaur, insect, DIY, transportation, tall book, pop-up, story book, board book, reference, magazine, series, new book, video, and audio and were easily expanded by combining age tables or fiction genre. Also, new simplifying methods of building call numbers with collection codes were suggested.

전자책에 대한 도서관의 학부모 이용자 인식에 관한 연구

본 연구는 도서관 이용자인 학부모들의 전자책에 대한 인식과 도서관의 전자책 서비스 만족도를 살펴보고, 향후 도서관의 전자책 서비스 개선 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 5개 도서관의 초등학생을 둔 학부모 150명을 대상으로 도서관 이용, 컴퓨터 이용, 전자책 이용 행태, 도서관 전자책 서비스 이용 행태, 어린이 전자책 선정 등에 대한 설문 조사를 실시하였고 123명으로부터 설문 응답을 받았다. 이를 바탕으로 도서관의 전자책 서비스 개선 방안을 보다 적극적인 도서관 전자책 서비스 홍보와 이용 교육, 이용하기 편리한 전자책 이용 과정, 도서관의 인적 물적 지원을 통한 전자책 서비스의 인지, 전자책 전담 사서와 전문 교육과정의 준비, 도서관 전자책 서비스 자체 평가를 통한 지속적인 서비스 개선으로 제시하였다. The purposes of this study are to investigate the perception and satisfaction of parents about e-books and to suggest ways to improve library e-book services. A user survey of one hundred twenty parents is carried for library use, computer use, and e-book user / non user behavior, library e-book service evaluation, selection of children's e-books and so on. Based upon the results, proactive library e-book service promotion such as public relations and e-book user education, easy access to e-book collections, recognition of e-book services at libraries, positions for e-book librarians and their professional continuing education, and self-evaluation of library e-book services.

음식문화 분야의 DDC 분류체계 개선방안에 관한 연구

The purposes of this study are to examine how food and culture and Korean foods are reflected in the classification systems and to propose improvements of DDC to classify various subjects related to the materials of food and culture. For the study, six classification systems - DDC(Dewey Decimal Classification), UDC(Universal Decimal Classification), LCC(Library of Congress Classification), KDC(Korean Decimal Classification), NDC (Nippon Decimal Classification), China Library Classification - were analyzed in aspects of eating and drinking customs, eating etiquette, nutrition and diet, food and drink, meal and table service, beverage technology, and food technology. As a result, there were few headings about Korean food in six classification systems and it was necessary for DDC to have new headings for classifying Korean and Asian traditional foods and table services. Due to the literary warrant in classification systems, it is required to publish and disseminate various Korean food recipes and publications to add new headings or notes in future classification systems. 본 연구는 문헌분류표를 바탕으로 음식문화 분야와 한식을 고찰하여 음식문화의 다양한 주제를 보다 더 효과적으로 분류할 수 있도록 DDC의 개선 방향을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 동서양의 대표적인 분류 체계인 DDC, UDC, LCC, KDC, NDC, 중국도서관도서분류법을 대상으로 식생활 풍습, 식사 예절, 영양과 식이, 식품과 음료, 식단과 상차림, 음료 기술, 식품 공학으로 나누어 음식문화와 관련된 항목들을 비교분석하였다. 분석 결과, 6개 분류표의 한식에 대한 분류 항목은 거의 없었으며 앞으로 한국 고유의 음식과 상차림 등이 분류표에 반영될 필요성을 확인하였다. 분류표에 새로운 분류 항목이나 주기의 추가를 위해서는 문헌적 타당성을 가져야 하므로 다양한 한식에 관한 조리법이나 간행물을 발간하고 이를 전 세계에 알려야 할 것이다.

DDC 21과 KDC 4의 비교 분석 및 개선 방안에 관한 연구

본 연구는 한국십진분류표와 듀이십진분류표의 최근 판을 비교 분석하여 앞으로 이루어질 한국십진분류표의 개정 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 두 분류표의 형태서지적 측면, 배열, 보조표와 개요표, 주기, 주제의 표현, 상관색인, 편집 체재, 개정 과정을 구체적인 예를 통해 비교하면서 문제점을 지적하였고 이를 바탕으로 한국십진분류표의 개선되어야할 사항을 제시하였다. This study aims to compare the 21th edition of Dewey Decimal Classification and the 4th edition of Korean Decimal Classification. Several categories are used for analyzing those classification systems. The purpose of this study was to compare the quality of two schedules with some examples and to analyze important categories of them and to find out the problems of them and also to provide possible suggestions for the improvement of the Korean Decimal Classification System in 21th century.

국립중앙도서관의 서지통정 기능 개선 방안에 관한 연구

본 연구는 선진국의 국가대표도서관에서 이루어지고 있는 서지통정 조직 및 운영 사례를 분석하여 국립중앙도서관이 국가서지정보센터로서의 역할을 수행하기 위한 이론적 근거를 마련하고 서지통정을 강화시키는 방안을 제안하였다. 먼저 문헌 연구에서 국립도서관의 정의와 역할, 서지통정의 개념과 기능에 대해 알아보았고 사례조사에서는 미의회도서관, 영국 국립도서관, 일본 국립국회도서관, 덴마크 왕립도서관, 한국의 국립중앙도서관에서 현재 운영 중인 서지 통정 관련 부서의 운영 방안과 주요 업무를 분석하였다. 국립중앙도서관의 서지통정 기능을 강화하기 위한 방안으로 첫째, 독립적인 서지통정 전담 부서의 설치, 둘째 서지데이터의 고품질화 및 유관 기관과의 협력 체제 강화, 셋째, 서지통정의 제반 연구 기능의 강화를 제시하였다. The purposes of this study are to analyze the structure of the division and its operation related to bibliographic control in national libraries and to propose several ways to strengthen its functions of National Library of Korea based upon the analysis. Literature reviews were carried for the definitions and roles of national libraries and their bibliographic control. The divisions of bibliographic control in Library of Congress, British Library, National Diet Library of Japan, the Royal Library of Denmark, and National Library of Korea were analyzed. Three methods for strengthening bibliographic control in National Library of Korea were suggested as follows: first of all, need of establishment of independent bibliographic control center, secondly, high quality of bibliographic data and collaboration with related institutions, and third, strengthening of research in the future of bibliographic control.

한국십진분류법과 듀이십진분류법에 나타난 주기의 다양성에 관한 비교 연구

Notes in library classification systems are inevitable tools for creating and building of classification numbers. The purposes of this study are to make better notes in Korean Decimal Classification(KDC) by analyzing and comparing notes in other library classification system and to assign the most appropriate classification numbers based upon the better notes. In order to achieve these purposes, analyzing notes in Dewey Decimal Classification(DDC) and KDC was carried. And the comparison of notes used in 000 Computer science, information, general works in DDC and KDC was done. Based upon these analysis, additional notes and their various forms were suggested.

한국십진분류법의 환경학 분야 개선방안에 관한 연구

본 연구는 환경학의 학문적 특성과 연구영역을 고찰하고, 환경 분야에 관한 한국연구재단의 연구분야 분류표 및 KCI 등재 학술지를 보유한 학회, KDC, DDC, NDC를 비교 분석하였으며, 이를 토대로 KDC의 환경학 분야의 분류 체계를 개선할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 먼저 환경철학, 환경사회, 환경교육, 환경독성, 환경건축, 지리환경을 각각 철학, 사회학, 교육학, 약리학, 건축학, 지리학 내 하위분야로 KDC의 본표에 추가하고, 표준세구분표의 -027 보조기법 및 절차를 -0276 녹색기술, 환경 기술로 세분 전개하여 환경에 관한 측면이 집중될 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 환경법 및 환경행정에 대한 분류기호를 재정비하여 각각 법학, 행정학 내 하위분야로 설정하여 분류자와 이용자의 혼란을 방지하도록 하였다. The purposes of this study are to review characteristics and research areas of environmental studies; to compare and analyze environmental studies in research classifications and Korean societies from Korea Research Foundation(KRF) as well as decimal classification systems such as KDC, DDC, NDC and to suggest several modifications for environmental studies in KDC for the next edition. First of all, environmental philosophy, environmental sociology, environmental education, environmental toxicology, environmental architecture, and environmental geography are suggested to add to the main schedule in KDC and -0276 green technology(environmental technology) is suggested to add to Table 1. Standard subdivision. And new classification numbers for environmental law and environmental public administration are suggested in law and public administration.

기관 레포지터리 활성화를 위한 메타데이터의 확장 방안 연구

국내 대표적인 기관 레포지터리인 dCollection에서 다양한 유형의 학술자원을 기술할 수 있도록 SOMS 메타데이터의 확장안을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 국내외 기관 레포지터리의 동향을 메타데이터와 관련된 측면에서 조사하였으며, DSpace를 개발 운영하고 있는 MIT와 MIT 메타데이터를 확장해 사용하는 브뤽셀 대학의 DISpace 메타데이터를 분석하고 SOMS에서 확장이 필요한 요소를 도출하였다. 제안된 SOMS는 다양한 유형의 자원을 기술하고, 기관 내 연구업적정보시스템과 연계하여 수집된 데이터를 보다 더 상세하게 기술할 수 있을 것이다. This study was carried out for extension of SOMS as metadata of KERIS dCollection to activate IR(institutional repository), which was a new media for academic communication. For this study, current trends of foreign IR were surveyed, and MIT Dspace metadata and Bruxel DISpace metadata were analyzed to apply to SOMS. New SOMS suggested in this study will be more flexible to describe various materials, and to import and/or export academic research performance metadata.

인터넷 서점의 주제별 분류체계 설계에 관한 연구

인터넷 서점에서 이용자를 위한 정보자료의 효율적인 조직화는 매우 중요하다. 그러므로 주제접근을 용이하게 하고 검색 효율성을 높이는 도구로서 분류체계에 대한 관심을 가져야할 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 인터넷 서점의 분류체계의 대분류 항목 및 접근 방법을 구조적 측면에서 조사하고 이에 대한 비교 분석을 통해 인터넷 서점에서 보다 효과적인 주제별 분류체계 설계 방안에 관해 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 현재 국내외에서 활발하게 운영 중인 인터넷 서점 9개를 선정하여 주제별 분류의 측면에 중점을 두고 조사 분석하였다. 끝으로 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 이용자 중심의 효과적인 주제별 검색 기능을 제공할 수 있는 인터넷 서점의 효과적인 주제별 분류체계의 모형을 제안하였다. It is very important to organize materials at intemet bookstores. It is time for us to develop a subject classification scheme as a tool for increasing the effectiveness of information retrieval with ease of subject access. The purpose of this study is to examine the subject features of internet bookstores in order to suggest the effective design of the subject scheme for them. Nine internet bookstore websites are analyzed at the aspect of the subject classification of the materials. Based upon the results of this study, an effective subject classification for internet bookstores is suggested to provide a better subject access.
