This study investigated impacts of the synthesis method and melamine content of urea-melamine-formaldehyde (UMF) resins to their cohesive and interphase features, and adhesion in bonding woodproducts. Melamine at three addition levels was simultaneously reacted with urea and formaldehyde toobtain melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) resins, while melamine at the same levels was initiallyreacted with formaldehyde and then with urea to prepare melamine-formaldehyde-urea (MFU) resins. As the melamine content increased, molecular weights, curing peak temperature, activation energy,bond-line thickness, E0max, and adhesion strength of wood products increased. These results indicatedthat the cohesive features of these resins mainly affected the adhesion strength in wood products whilethe interphase features had a partial contribution to the adhesion.
개폐식 대공간 구조물의 감쇠장치 적용 및 최적설계에 관한 연구

본 논문는 개폐식 대공간 구조물의 지진하중에 대한 동적응답을 줄이기 위한 목적으로 파라메트릭 설계 기법을 적용한 TMD에 관한 연구이다. 인공지능 알고리즘을 이용하여 감쇠장치의 설치 위치를 자동 탐색하는 컴포넌트를 개발하였다. 이는 구조물의 동적응답을 실시간으로 확인하고, 구조물의 감쇠장치 최적의 위치를 찾을 수 있을 있다. 또한, 여러 대안에 대한 감쇠장치 질량의 최적 값을 찾아주며, 지붕의 열린 상태와 닫힌 상태에 모두 효과적으로 적용될 수 있는 설계안을 찾을 수 있다. This paper presents a tuned mass damper (TMD) utilizing a parametric design technique to reduce the dynamic responses to seismic loads of retractable large spatial structures. An artificial intelligence algorithm was developed to automatically search for the installation position of the damping device. This enables confirming the dynamic response of the structure in real time while finding the optimum position for the damping device. Further, the optimum mass of the damping device is determined from among several alternatives, and a design that can be effectively applied to both open and closed conditions of the roof is obtained.

General D-glass(Dielectric glass) fibers are adaptable to PCBs(Printed circuit boards) because they have a low dielectric constant of about 3.5~4.5. However, very few papers have appeared on the physical characteristics of D-glass fibers. D-glass fibers were fabricated via continuous spinning process using bulk D-glass. In order to fabricate the D-glass, raw materials were put into a Pt crucible, melted at $1650^{\circ}C$ for 2 hrs, and then annealed at $521{\pm}10^{\circ}C$ for 2 hrs. We obtained transparent clear glass. The transmittance and adaptable temperature for spinning of the bulk marble glass were characterized using a UV-visible spectrometer and a viscometer. Continuous spinning was carried out using direct melting spinning equipment as a function of the fiberizing temperature in the range of $1368^{\circ}C$ to $1460^{\circ}C$, while the winder speed was between 100 rpm and 200 rpm. We investigated the physical properties of the D-glass fibers. The average diameters of the glass fibers were measured by optical microscope and FE-SEM. The average diameters of the D-glass fibers were 21.36 um at 100 rpm and 34.06 um at 200 rpm. The mechanical properties of the fibers were confirmed using a UTM(Universal materials testing machine). The average tensile strengths of the D-glass fibers were 467.03 MPa at 100 rpm and 522.60 MPa at 200 rpm.

The purpose of this study was to determine the kinetic role of the metatarsophalangeal (MP) joint during barefoot walking in both a normal group and hallux valgus (HV) patients. Three-dimensional motion analysis with foot pressure measurements was performed. Ten normal subjects and ten HV patients were selected for the study. Results showed that a significant difference in stance time between the normal and HV groups (p<0.05). Joint moments gradually increased and became maximal at the beginning of pre-swing. No difference was found in the MP joint moments between the two groups. Significant amount of energy absorption was observed from the terminal stance to pre-swing in both groups. However, total energy absorption in all MP joints decreased 25% in the HV group (4.59±0.85 J/kg) compared with the normal group (6.09±1.00 J/kg). The energy absorption in the 1st MP joint and the 2nd MP joint were significantly smaller in the HV group than in the normal group (p<0.05). The four-segment foot model used in this study demonstrated the lateral load transfer from the 1st MP joint to the lateral MP joints for HV patients. This study would be very helpful to determine the kinetic role of MP joints in HV patients.

How do the sociological perspective on marginalization affect the theory and practice of narrative counseling? Using key concepts of life course sociology, the author discusses the effects of transition, trajectory, and turning point in relation to marginalization. Implications for narrative counseling are explored in terms of "externalizing the problems" a counselee presents and forming "re-membering conversation." This research provides stronger support for the significance of social dimension of marginalization and its possible implications for narrative counseling. 사회학적 관점에서 본 소외의 이해는 어떻게 이야기 상담의 이론과 실제에영향을 줄 수 있는가? 이 연구는 전생애 사회학의 관점에서 인간 생애 발달의 과정을 변천, 궤적, 전환점의 개념을 사용하여 살펴본다. 이어서 사회학적으로 해석한 소외의 의미를 기반으로 하여 이야기 상담에서 사용하는 기법을 비판적으로 평가한다. 이 연구는 상담자는 소외의 사회적 차원에 주목해야 한다고 논하면서 하면서 이야기상담에서 사용하는 외재화 작업과 경험적 지식의 창조, 회원재구성 대화와 사회공동체의 중요성을 강조한다.
국가의 탄생과 혁명의 적들: 사회주의 리얼리즘 범죄 스릴러

“Red Star”(Красная звезда, 1908) and “Engineer Menni”(Инженер Мэнни, 1912) by Aleksandr Bogdanov(Александр Богданов, 1873-1928) and Man Changes His Skin (Человек меняет кожу, 1932) by Bruno Jasienski (Бруно Ясенский, 1901-1938) are stories that show evident traits of the Socialist Realist production novel. They center on large-scale constructions such as the building of a dam or a canal and the objective is to promote socialist ideology while stressing the inevitability of a communist revolution. At the same times, these works feature such scenes as murder, conspiracy and secret police pursuing a villain, which are most common in crime fictions. Socialist Realist conventions existed even before the term was coined. And among the Socialist Realist novel, there are works that feature spies, villains and the West, and these works tend to be less conventional and present a more diverse world. Bogdanov’s and Jasienski’s works are examples of such less conventional Socialist Realist novel. They prove that modern Russian novels with strong ideological tendencies can also have a popular appeal. 알렉산드르 보그다노프(Александр Богданов, 1873-1928)의 『붉은 별』 (Красная звезда, 1908)과 『엔지니어 멘니』 (Инженер Мэнни, 1912)와 브루노 야센스키(Бруно Ясенский, 1901-1938)의 『인간이 피부를 바꾸다』 (Человек меняет кожу, 1932)는 댐 건설 혹은 운하 공사 등 대규모 건설작업을 소재로 사회주의 사상을 전파하고 혁명의 당위성을 역설하는 사회주의 리얼리즘 소설의 특징을 나타낸다. 그런데 이 작품들에서는 살인사건과 음모, 악당을 추적하는 비밀경찰 등 범죄 소설을 연상시키는 장면들도 발견할 수 있다. 사회주의 리얼리즘 소설 내의 하위분류 중에 스파이나 악당 혹은 서구세계가 등장하는 작품도 분명 존재하며 이들은 전형적인 사회주의 리얼리즘 소설들에 비해 덜 관습적이고 더 다채로운 세계를 묘사하는 경향이 있다. 본 연구에서는 공산주의와 혁명사상 전파를 명백하게 목적으로 하며 정형화된 사회주의 리얼리즘의 특징들을 나타내면서도 동시에 다양한 기법을 활용하는 비관습적 작품들의 예시로 보그다노프의 야센스키의 작품을 분석하려 한다.
