정미송. 라틴 및 모던 댄스스포츠 종목별 운동강도 비교. 운동과학, 제13권 2호, 273-284, 2004. 본 연구의 목적은 모던블룹댄스 및 라틴 아메리칸댄스스포츠 10종목 왈츠, 탱고, 퀵스텝, 폭스트롯, 자이브 차차차, 삼바, 룸바, 파소도블레, 비엔나왈츠 등의 생리학적 운동 강도와 유산소성 수련으로서의 가능성을 파악하여 댄스스포츠를 시작하는 일반인과 프로선수 그리고 지도자들에게 트레이닝 프로그램 작성에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고, 운동처방을 하기 위함이다. 피검자들은 댄스스포츠 전공자 및 댄스스포츠 동아리 남ㆍ여 대학생 26명을 대상으로 라틴댄스 14명, 모던댄스 12명을 무작위로 나누어 10주간의 댄스스포츠 레슨(영국왕실교사협회 자격증 교본의 중급과정) 전ㆍ후의 신체구성 성분과 5분간의 댄스스포츠 수행시의 종목별 운동 강도를 휴대용 가스분석기를 이용하여 측정, 비교한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 10개 종목 댄스스포츠 5분간 수행 시의 평균 운동강도는 57.6±2.5%VO₂max, 71.4±8.9%HRmax로 나타났으며, 종목별 운동강도는 비엔나 왈츠(74.0±0.6%VO₂max), 자이브, 차차차, 삼바, 퀵스텝, 왈츠, 탱고, 폭스트롯, 룸바, 파소도블레(47.0±10.6%VO₂max)종목 순으로 나타났다. 위의 결과로부터 댄스스포츠 10개 종목의 평균 운동강도는 VO₂max의 57.6±2.5%로 건강, 체력 증진을 위한 유산소성 운동능력을 개선시키는데 적정 운동강도라고 생각된다. 그러나 각 종목별로 운동강도의 차이가 유의하기 때문에 수련자의 체력을 고려한 트레이닝 프로그램 작성이 필요하다. Among those 5 types of Latin American dance sport, exercise intensity was high in Viennese Waltz, Jive, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Quickstep, Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba, and Paso Doble in a corresponding order. The mean value of exercise intensity, 57.6±2.5% of VO₂max, in all tested types of dance sport can be interpreted as that the dance sport may used as medium intensity exercise for the improvement of endurance capacity for health and physical fi수ess. However, it is imperative that the training programs made in consideration of the physical fitness of each subjects should be adjusted case by case since there are non-negligible differences in exercise intensity between five types of dance sport studied.

The effects of ten different types of dance sport lesson on the changes of cardiopulmonary function were performed, and eventually the baseline data for the dance training program were offered, Sixteen male and female college students who majored in dance sport and belonged to dance sport clubs were designated to the trial group and other 16 non- dance trained college students were assigned as the control group. The trial group showed lower body weight and body fat composition with significantly higher amount of oxygen uptake than the control group on a graded exercise test, The results presented above might indicate that long-term skill- focused dance lesson may bring some positive effects on the cardiopulmonary function of participants, However, it is imperative that the training programs made in consideration of the physical fitness of each subjects should be adjusted case by case since there are non-negligible differences in exercise intensity between ten types of dance sport studied.
10주간의 댄스스포츠 트레이닝이 유산소성 운동능력에 미치는 영향

Twenty six male and female college students who majored in dance sport and belonged to dance sport clubs were designated to the trial group. The comparison of the body composition and the capacity of aerobic exercise was performed to the trial group. The effects of 10-week dance lesson on various physiological parameters and endurance properties were evaluated with a portable gas analyzer and some &vices for blood analysis on the trial group. The result of the study was as follows; No significant change was noted in the body composition after a 10-week of dance lesson, although the amount of oxygen uptake was significantly higher on a graded exercise test, These findings might indicated that the cardiopulmonary function can be improved with the process. The result presented above might indicate that long-term skill- focused dance lesson may bring some positive effects on the cardiopulmonary function of participants. However, it is imperative that the training programs made in consideration of the physical fitness of each subjects should be adjusted case by case since there are non-negligible differences in exercise intensity between ten types of dance sport studied.
여자대학생 한국무용 전공자와 비전공자의 신체조성, 기초체력 및 유산소성 운동능력의 비교 연구

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the Korean dance on cardiopulmonary function and to provide information to the dance training program and to promote health. For this purpose, 10 students at S University who majored in Korean dance and 10 students at K University were selected. A series of comparative studies were made through the body composition test, basic physical strength test and cardiopulmonary function test. The following results were obtained:First, in the body composition, body mass and %body mass of Korean dancers were lower, and fat free mass and muscle mass of Korean dancers were higher than those of university students.Second, in the basic physical strength test, right grip strength of university student was attentively higher than Korean dancers(p<.05). Back strength(p<.001) and balance(p<.05) of Korean dancers were attentively higher than university student.Third, there were no significant difference in HRmax, but recovery values of Korean dancers were fast. VEmax and VO2max of Korean dancers were attentively high(p<.05).The result presented above indicate that Korean dancers have possibility of improving body composition, basic physical strength and cardiopulmonary function.
남자현대무용수와 라틴댄스스포츠선수의 체력과 심폐기능 증진을 위한 연구

남자 현대무용수, 남자 댄스스포츠선수의 체력수준 및 호흡 순환계변인을 비교, 검토하기 위하여, 각 전공경력이 5-8년인 남자현대무용수 11명, 남자댄스스포츠선수 11명을 대상으로 신체구성 성분과 유산소성 작업능력을 비교한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 기초체력은 남자 현대무용수와 남자 라틴댄스포츠선수가 39.4±5.5cm, 29.9±0.9cm로 나타났고 사후검증결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이(p<.01)가 나타났다. VO2max는 남자 현대무용수58.3±10.0㎖/min/㎏, 남자 라틴댄스스포츠선수54.9±3.6㎖/min/㎏로 사후검증을 실시한 결과 운동 2분시(p<.05)와 VO2max(p<.001)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이러한 결과로부터 남자라틴댄스와 남자현대무용수의 적정운동 강도를 조절하여 운동효과와 운동손상예방을 제고할 필요성이 제기되었다. For the purpose of providing a basic information to the training program, we selected 11 male modern dancers and 11 latin sport dancers to investigate the basic physical strength and cardiopulmonary function. First, weight and body fat of modern dancers were higher than those of latin sport dancers. Second, VO2max was 58.3±10.0㎖/min/㎏, in morden dancers, 54.9±3.6㎖/min/㎏ in latin dance sport dancers. In conclusions, latin dance sport dancers have possibility of improving basic physical strength and cardiopulmonary function. The result presented above indicate that cardiopulmonary function of were higher than morden dancers latin dance sport dancers, but no significant difference was noted between two groups. However, there are some difference on cardiopulmonary function between latin dance sport and morden dance. So the training programs must be made in consideration of the physical fitness of each subjects. Futhermore, studies considering bone density and diet problem of dancers should be needed. The results presented above indicate that cardiopulmonary function of showed higher than morden dancers Latin dance sport dancers.
