대학에서의 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance)교양교육 사례 및 재학생 인식 조사 연구

The purpose of this study is to present liberal arts education cases and student perception survey results on ESG in universities, and to discuss educational implications. In this regard, several cases of universities were investigated, and a survey was conducted for K university students. As a result of the study, the cases of universities offering ESG education opened courses based on 2-3 credit units and online or offline in the basic liberal arts or advanced liberal arts, and various methods were applied along with lectures contents on ESG or SDGs. Lectures were carried out in a way that reflected the regional characteristics of the university or connected with the region. In addition, at the school management level, ESG was declared and promoted, and related subjects and extracurriculars were opened and carried out, or ESG contests, regional innovation platforms and related programs were being implemented. As a result of a survey for K University students (N=370), it was specifically confirmed that students need to raise their awareness of ESG terminology, opening related subjects, and their intention to take courses. It can be seen that it is necessary to organize and carry out liberal arts subjects, non-curricular subjects, and school-level implementation plans in consideration of the internal and external conditions and circumstances of the university. Through this study, ESG trends and student perceptions in liberal arts education at universities will be identified, and it will be helpful to establish future educational directions. 본 연구는 대학 교양교육에서의 ESG 사례 및 재학생 인식 조사 결과를 제시하고 교육적인 함의를 논의하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이에 국내 대학의 ESG 교육 및 경영 사례를 조사했으며 K대학교 학생들을 대상으로 ESG 인식에 관한 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, ESG 교육을 하는 대학들은 기초교양 혹은 심화교양 영역에서 2~3학점 단위와 온라인 또는 오프라인 기반 교과를 개설하고 ESG나 SDGs 관련 강의를 실시하고 있었다. 또한 대학의 지역적 특징을 반영하거나 지역 연계 방식으로 강의를 운영하기도 했다. 한편, 학교 경영 차원에서 ESG를 선포, 추진하고 관련 교과, 비교과를 개설, 운영하거나 ESG 공모전, 지역혁신플랫폼과 관련 프로그램 등을 실행하는 대학들도 있었다. K대학교 학생을 대상으로 실시한 설문 조사 결과(N=370)를 보면, ESG 용어, 개설되어 있는 관련 교과, 수강 의향 등에 있어 학생들의 인식을 제고할 필요가 있음을 구체적으로 확인하였다. 이를 볼 때, 대학의 대내·외적 여건과 상황을 고려하여 교양 교과 및 비교과, 학교 차원의 실행 방안 등을 구성·운영할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해 ESG 대학 교양교육에서의 ESG 동향과 학생 인식을 파악하고 향후의 교육적 방향성을 수립하는데 도움을 얻을 수 있을 것이다.

학생 설계 교양 교과 아이디어 공모 사례 연구

The purpose of this study is to present the operation process and results based on the student-designed liberal arts curriculum idea contest, and to draw discussion and future directions. This contest was held in the first semester of 2022 as part of the liberal arts education extra-curricular program at K University. This is to encourage students to actively suggest ideas for liberal arts subjects in various fields by reflecting the currents of the times, social demands, and personal needs. To this end, the application notification, examination, and result announcement were made between May and June 2022. A total of 28 applications were received for this contest, and 13 cases(grades 1 to 3) were selected. The evaluation criteria were timely themes, content fidelity, suitability for liberal arts subjects, and differentiation from existing subjects. A total of 5 faculty members for each college conducted the evaluation. According to the selection result, there are various ideas such as 2 language subjects of basic liberal arts and 1 character education subject in 1st grade, 4 advanced liberal arts subjects and 2 character education subjects in 2nd grade, 1 character education subject and 4 advanced liberal arts subjects in 3rd grade. Through this study, it will be possible to obtain educational implications for student-centered liberal arts curriculum design and reorganization and operation of the liberal arts curriculum.

지식정보화시대에 성장 지향 마인드셋(mindset)의 실천 방향 및 전략 탐색

The purpose of this study is to specifically explore the practical direction and strategy of a growth -oriented mindset in the age of knowledge information. In a world full of external stimuli and heterogeneous demands, if an individual does not intend for a better direction on his own, he stays in a reactive being, rushing to deal with day-to-day issues, and it is difficult to realize and develop his own personality and potential. In this context, this study presented the practical direction and strategy of a growth-oriented mindset related to qualitative growth and learning goals that emphasize absolute standards and processes for oneself based on research on related literature and the latest issues. First, from a macroscopic point of view, the practical direction of the growth -oriented mindset includes ‘What is important after work is active change, not passive rest’, and ‘a life of making and executing a highlight for growth in an era where distraction is the default’. Next, from a microscopic point of view, the strategy for the growth-oriented mindset has from a microscopic point of view, ‘prioritize non-urgent but important tasks’, ‘start small and light and continue to change based on the brain plasticity’, ‘practice planned training towards excellence’, ‘practice the balance between real-time information and knowledge’, ‘cultivate the depth of extracting value from information’, ‘Developing depth by minimizing distraction’, ‘practice rituals and deep work’. It is hoped that this study will broadly share and spread the direction and practice strategy of a growth -oriented mindset that helps people fill the meaning and value of life in knowledge information age.

한국판 마음챙김 주의 자각 척도의 신뢰도 및 타당도 예비 연구

In this study, we tested the reliability and validity of the Korean Version of Mindful Attention Awareness Scale(K-MAAS) that Brown et al had developed to measure for Mindfulness. In result, the internal consistency coefficient(Cronbach's alpha) of the K-MAAS was high (.87), correlation coefficients of item-total were to .24 from .68. The result of factor analysis showed that single factor accounted for 37.94 % of the total variance. K-MAAS was related to depression, anxiety, negatively, to self-esteem, positively. These findings suggested that the Korean Version of Mindful Attention Awareness Scale(K-MAAS) was reliable and valid scale to measure for mindful state. Finally, the implication of this study and direction for future study were discussed. 본 연구에서는 마음챙김의 정도를 측정하는 도구로 개발된 Brown 등(2003)의 마음챙김 주의 자각 척도(Mindful attention awareness scale)를 국내 문화에 적합하게 번안하여, 한국판 마음챙김 주의 자각 척도(K-MAAS)를 작성하였고 이 척도에 대한 신뢰도 및 타당도를 검증하였다. 그 결과, K-MAAS는 내적 합치도 계수(α)는 .87로 높은 편이었으며, 문항- 총점 간 상관 계수도 .24에서 .68 로 중간 정도의 강한 상관을 보였다. 요인 분석 결과, 이 척도는 단일 요인 모델이 전체 변량의 37.94%를 설명하였다. 또한, 우울이나 불안과는 부적인 상관을 보였으며, 자존감과는 정적 상관을 보였다. 이러한 결과를 통해, 한국판 마음챙김 주의 자각 척도(Korean version of Mindful attention awareness scale)가 마음챙김 능력을 측정하는 신뢰롭고 타당한 척도임이 확인되었다. 마지막으로, 연구 결과의 의의와 추후 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

학습자중심교육의 실행을 위한 학생 인식 조사 연구 – 기초교양교육을 중심으로 -

The purpose of this study is to investigate students' perceptions for implementing learner-centered education and to check the current status and improvement plans of the liberal arts curriculum. In detail, it was attempted to give feedback to liberal arts education by identifying students' perceptions and needs for communication and foreign language basics among the basic liberal arts. These subjects are mainly required for students to take optional compulsory courses from the time of admission. The liberal arts education student monitoring group at K University, selected in the first semester of the 2022 academic year, developed survey questions based on various case studies. After conducting surveys for each area, the analysis results were discussed together. As a result of the survey, it was possible to feel the instructors' efforts to manage the quality of lectures through students' perceptions of each area. At the same time, constructive opinions suggested by the students were drawn on the details of the contents, methods, and evaluation of each lecture. Through this study, it will be possible to establish and reflect the plans for quality management and improvement of the liberal arts curriculum by identifying the students' needs for communication and foreign language basic areas, which are centrally addressed in the basic liberal arts education.

MZ세대를 중심으로 한 ‘Quiet Quitting’(조용한 사직)의특징과 개선 방안 연구

A Study on the Characteristics and Improvement Plan of‘Quiet Quitting’ centered on the MZ GenerationJonghee Jeon Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the main characteristics of ‘quiet quitting’, which is emerging around the MZ generation, and to find constructive improvement plans. All domestic newspaper articles on ‘quiet quitting’ were searched and all academic studies related to the MZ generation were investigated and converged. Domestic articles and academic data started on Sept. 27, and the final survey and update point was Oct. 11, 2022. After reviewing and organizing the data several times, the results of the investigation were reflected in the detailed topics and contents of the study. The characteristics of the MZ generation, the concept, characteristics, causes, and improvement plans of ‘quiet quitting’ were comprehensively presented. Based on the main contents of MZ generation and ‘quiet quitting’, improvement plans at the individual and organizational level were derived. Through this study, it will be possible to understand the phenomenon of ‘quiet quitting’ that is spreading throughout society and to identify ways to respond constructively. A Study on Student Opinion Survey of the UniversityLiberal Education Extra-curricular Program-Focusing on the Survey Development Case ofthe Liberal Arts Student Monitoring Group-Jonghee Jeon Abstract: The purpose of this study is to present the development process and results of the student opinion survey led by the student monitoring group in the case of K university, and to seek the future improvement plans. The liberal arts education student monitoring group selected in the first semester of 2022 led the survey of related cases, development and review of student opinion survey questions, discussion of results, and deriving future development plans. In particular, regarding the student’s opinion survey, the perception of the operation content and method of the liberal arts education extra-curricular program was investigated through text notification for the winners, graduates, and basic participants of the last two years. The collected data was statistically analyzed using the SPSS program. As the main contents of the study, the development and progress of the student opinion survey of the liberal arts education extra-curricular program, and survey results and discussions were presented. Through this study, it will be possible to confirm the students’ perceptions and needs for the liberal arts education extra-curricula program and to reflect them in detail. 대학 교양 토론 수업 사례 연구 : 균형교양 영역 ‘인시스턴스(Insistance)의 기술’ 교과를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to present an operating example of a balanced liberal arts curriculum established for the cultivation of communication competency based on debate activities and to derive educational implications. This is a 2-credit subject opened in the balanced liberal arts area of G University’s liberal arts curriculum, and has been developed and operated after being selected for the liberal arts course contest proposed by students. This course consists of related theoretical lectures, presentations, debate, discussion activities, and is a class that emphasizes and requires that participation of both debaters and audiences every week. The class was operated in two classes during the first semester of the 2023, and due to the different number of students, the number of team debates was applied differently for each class. In this lecture, debate theories and techniques, attitudes, and principles and practices of round table and team debates were introduced. In addition, to ensure understanding and participation of all students, a debate was held after a lecture on each week’s debate topic. Over the course of one semester, students escaped their fear of public speaking and accumulated practice and experience in clearly communicating their thoughts and opinions without being concerned about others’ evaluations. Students reported that they experienced changes in the quantity and quality of speech, thinking, skills, attitudes, and confidence as time passed through weekly reflections and final essays. Through this study, we will be able to confirm that critical and comprehensive thinking can be cultivated through public expression and constructive discussion with others in an era where convergent experiences and communication are important, and that this can be applied to various classes.

창의적 유능성과 사회적 책임감을 발휘하는 훌륭한 전문직업인의 개인적 특성에 관한 연구 : 2009년 ‘뉴욕 허드슨 강의 기적’ Chesely Sullenberger 기장의 사례를 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 창의적 유능성과 사회적 책임감을 발휘하는 훌륭한 전문 직업인의 개인적 특성을 탐색하는데있다. 이를 위해 탁월한 역량과 올바른 가치를 보여준 대표적인 사례로서 2009년 뉴욕 허드슨 강의 기적의 주인공인Chesley Sullenberger 기장의 사례를 토대로 그의 특성을 살펴보고 교육적으로 의미 있는 내용을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구 문제는 Sully 기장의 개인적 특성, 그리고 교육·훈련·경험, 올바른 가치와 직업 전문성을 실현하게 된 계기와주요 내용이 무엇인가이다. 연구를 위해 2022년 8월 중에 국내·외 주요 사이트에서 ‘Chesely Sullenberger’에 관한키워드로 관련 기사를 검색하여 도출한 국문 및 영문 결과와 그가 2009년도에 출판한 도서를 분석 대상에 포함하였다. 조사 자료를 정리, 처리하는 과정을 거쳐 여러 차례에 걸친 코딩 등의 질적 내용 분석을 통해 최종 자료를 확정하였다. 연구의 결과로 개인적 특성, 교육·훈련·경험, 올바른 가치와 직업 전문성의 실현이라는 3개 주제에 따른 총 9개 범주와32개 개념이 도출, 제시되었다. 이를 볼 때, Sully 기장은 성장 과정에서 비행기 조종에 대한 흥미와 열정, 직업 적성을발견하여 자신에게 맞는 분야를 찾아 이에 주력했다. 또한 지속적인 성장과 헌신을 추구하고 실천한 결과로 허드슨강의 기적을 만들어냈다. 본 연구를 통해 개인의 흥미와 열정, 그리고 적성을 고려하여 전문 분야를 찾고 이를 일로연계하도록 돕는 것이 개인의 성장과 사회적 기여에 매우 중요함을 알 수 있다.

성인을 대상으로 하는 다중지능(Multiple Intelligences) 연구의 동향 분석

This study was conducted to explore the trends and future directions of multiple intelligences studies in adults. Multiple intelligences studies in adults are numerically less than in infants, primary and secondary students. The reason is that multiple intelligences has been tried with a focus on the age level, where various activities and experiments are possible, crossing subjects in the context of teaching and learning. In contrast, multiple intelligences research for adults is at a time when it is necessary to expand the breadth and depth of research. This is significant not only in expanding and diversifying the application of multiple intelligences theory, but also in taking advantage of the different strengths of individuals and members of the fourth industrial revolution. For this study, on February 27, 2020, Korean journals were searched for 'multiple intelligences', and in addition to a total of 1,617 cases, 22 'multiple intelligences adults', 54 'multiple intelligences college students', and 138 'multiple intelligences teachers' were drawn. Of these, the final 55 papers related to the subject of this study were confirmed and analyzed. After several reviews and corrections, quantitative analysis was performed. The results of the study were presented as item-by-item and inter-item results for the research year and subject, field, content, and methods. Based on the results of the study, discussions and conclusions, limitations of the study, and future suggestions were made. Through this study, we can examine the research trends applied in the context of multiple intelligences in detail and confirm that multiple intelligences can be a useful educational frame to lead the individual's self-realization, growth, and happy life through generations. 이 연구는 성인 및 대학생을 대상으로 이루어진 다중지능(Multiple Intelligences) 연구의 동향 및 향후 방향성을 탐색하기 위해 수행되었다. 성인에 대한 다중지능 연구는 유아, 초등, 중등 학생에 비해 수적으로 더 적은 편이다. 그 이유는 다중지능이 교수, 학습의 맥락에서 교과를 넘나들며 다양한 활동과 실험이 가능한 연령급간을 중심으로 많이 시도되어 왔기 때문이다. 이와는 달리 성인 대상 다중지능 연구는 연구의 폭과 깊이를 확장해 나가야 하는 시점에 와 있다. 이것은 다중지능 이론의 적용을 확장하고 다변화한다는 점뿐만 아니라 4차 혁명 시대를 살아가는 개인들의 서로 다른 강점을 활용하여 국가 경쟁력을 제고한다는 점에서도 의미가 있다. 본 연구를 위해 2020년 2월 27일에 ‘다중지능’으로 국내 학술지를 검색하여 총 1,617건 외에 ‘다중지능 성인’ 22건, ‘다중지능 대학생’ 54건, ‘다중지능 교사’ 138건을 도출, 확인하였다. 이 중 본 연구의 주제와 관련된 최종 55편의 논문을 확정, 분석하였다. 여러 차례의 검토 및 수정 과정 후 양화하여 통계 분석을 하였다. 연구 결과는 연구 연도와 대상, 연구 분야 및 내용, 방법 등에 대해 항목별, 항목 간 결과로 제시되었다. 연구의 결과를 토대로 논의 및 결론, 연구의 제한점 및 향후 제언을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 다중지능이 성인의 맥락에서 적용되어 온 연구 동향을 구체적으로 살펴봄으로써 여러 세대를 아울러서 다중지능이 개인의 자아실현과 성장, 행복한 삶으로 이끄는데 유용한 교육 프레임이 될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있을 것이다.
