        性治療의 實際,女子

        The author reviewed specific problems and controversial issues in practicing sex therapy for female sexual dysfunction, in relation to korean sociocultural background. A case of sex therapy of female sexual dysfunction which implicated various issues mentioned above, was presented and the author suggested basic principles in practicing sex therapy in our culture and elucidate the effective coping with problems encountered frequently during treatment process. It cannot be overemphasized that choosing only one treatment modality, for example, directive sex therapy or intensive psychotherapy, wouldn’t be desirable and that direct application of a set-model such as the Masters and Johnson model to our Korean patient without any possible modification may not be effective in our sociocultural milieu. Basically, the author emphasized again that the knowledge and experiences of intensive psychotherapy and of behaviour therapy, understanding essential techniques of dual sex therapy and of diagnostic evaluation of sexual dysfunction as well are needed as a basic qualification for sex therapist.

        A Leading-Edge Operation Program of the East Sea Branch, KORDI

        The East Sea Branch (ESB) of KORDI will be launched in 2008. She will take a role of monitoring the sea surface topography and temperature by satellites, short- and long-term sea levels by tide gauges, coastal currents and open-sea circulation by setting up coastal radars and mooring current-meters and acoustic equipments, as well as monitoring nearshore processes, coastal erosion and water pollution. A basic program of coastal zone management will help ocean-policy makers to set up right decisions based upon scientific background of the regional data in the East Sea. Networking among the neighboring countries around the sea will supply more useful information not only for experts but also for ordinary vacationers or fishermen. In order for this program to be successfully settled down during the next decade, it is necessary for a leader to have the right vision to attract more experts from global brain pools and to manage the ESB as a leading-edge observatory in the world. Details about this leading-edge operational program are introduced in the text.

        태평양-인도양 해양순환 연구 프로그램

        One of the factors influencing the climate around Korea is the oceanic-atmospheric variability in the tropical region between the eastern Indian and the western Pacific Oceans. Lack of knowledge about the air-sea interaction in the tropical Indo-Pacific region continues to make it problematic forecasting the ocean climate in the East Asia. The ‘Tropical Indo-Pacific water transport and ecosystem monitoring EXperiment (TIPEX)’ is a program for monitoring the ocean circulation variability between Pacific and Indian Oceans and for improving the accuracy of future climate forecasting. The main goal of the TIPEX program is to quantify the climate and ocean circulation change between the Indian and the Pacific Oceans. The contents of the program are 1) to observe the mixing process of different water masses and water transport in the eastern Indian and the western Pacific, 2) to understand the large-scale oceanic-climatic variation including El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO)/Warm Pool/Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO)/Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD), and 3) to monitor the biogeochemical processes, material flux, and biological changes due to the climate change. In order to effectively carry out the monitoring program, close international cooperation and the proper co-work sharing of tasks between China, Japan, Indonesia, and India as well as USA is required.

        스마트 팩토리에서 원격 실시간 모니터링을 위한 게이트웨이 인터페이스 연동 API 설계 및 구현

        As the 4th industrial revolution is accelerating, IT convergence application technologies are attracting attention in various fields. In the manufacturing industry, Smart Factory technology, which is blended with IT technology, has been developed to solve the problem casued by the decrease of the labor force, and a monitoring server is required to remotely control the equipment or to inquire about the operation status of the factory. In this paper, we designed and implemented RESTful API for data sharing between factory equipment and monitoring server in Smart Factory. In order to verify the designed API, a testbed was operated for an actual plastics manufacturing plant. As a result, it was confirmed that the testbed can be operated normally in actual operating environment.

        개인 건강 정보 관리를 위한 통합 리파지토리 및 웹 기반 대시보드 UI 컴포넌트 설계 및 구현

        As life expectancy increases, chronic diseases become a problem, and health management in daily life becomes important. With the development of IT convergence technology, personal health records have been collected through various data sources, but they are saved separately by each medical services. Distributed storage of personal health records caused inconvenience about managing the user’s health records. In this paper, we designed and implemented an integrated repository and web-based dashboard UI components to solve that inconvenience. The proposed method shows that users can manage their personal health records in the integrated repository effectively and show them through dashboard UI components.

        Relative Sea-level Change Around the Korean Peninsula

        Long-term tide-gauge data from around the Korean Peninsula were reanalyzed. Both the coastal water and the open sea surrounding the Korean Peninsula appeared to have been influenced by global warming. The long-term change in relative sea levels obtained from tidal stations showed a general rising trend, especially near Jeju Island. It is proposed that global warming may have caused shifting of the path of the Kuroshio branch (Tsushima Warm Current) toward Jeju Island, causing a persistent increase in the water levels along the coast of the island over the last few decades.

        개인 건강 정보 처리를 위한 배치 어플리케이션에서 데이터 질의 속도 향상을 위한 PHDItemReader 설계 및 구현

        With the progress of miniaturization and high performance of various sensors, a lot of data is generated in various fields and being collected in real-time, but the use of such large-capacity data is often unable to keep up with the collection technology. In the medical field, health data is collected and managed by platform, which causes inconvenience to users in searching their own health data and receiving medical services. In this paper, in order to solve these problems, we designed and implemented PHDItemReader to improve the speed of data query in a batch application environment that can integrate and process health data having various data expression formats. The experiment compared and analyzed 3 types of query speed based on 1,000,000 hypothetical health data, and as a result of the experiment, it was verified that the PHDItemReader implemented in this paper improved up to about 21% compared to the existing one.

      • Miller Fisher 증후군 1예에서 일련의 신경생리학적 소견

        Miller Fisher syndrome(MFS) has been the focus of conflicting opinions regarding the peripheral versus the central nature of the site of major neural injury. We present out electrophysiological findings in one case of MFS to help clarify the patterns of peripheral nerve injury in this syndrome. A 45-year-old man visited our hospital due to sudden diplopia. Initial examination revealed internuclear opthalmoplegia. The next day, his symptoms rapidly aggravated to complete external opthalmoplegia, ataxia, and areflexia with hand and foot numbness. Serial electrophysiological studies were performed. The results of brainstem evoked potential(BAEP) and blink reflex were normal in the serial studies. Motor and sensory nerve conduction study(NCS) were normal findings in second hospital day, but ulnar sensory nerve shows no sensory nerve action potential(SNAP) and sural sensory conduction velocity was delayed in 7th hospital day. Our patient's clinical presentation began to improve on 15th hospital day, and his electrophysiologic study showed improvement on 29th hospital day. We believe that all the manifestations of MFS can be explained by the involvement of peripheral nerves without brainstem or cerebellar lesion with the serial electrophysiological studies.

        현탁된 산화 아연에서의 $O_2^-$의 광탈착

        Photodesorption of adsorbed $O_2^-$ on ZnO was investigated in ZnO-$O_2(N_2)$-rubrene-bromobenzene mixture. When the mixture was illuminated with the light having the energy greater than the band gap energy of ZnO (3.2eV), the amount of reacted rubrene increased as the amount of ZnO increased in the experimental condition. For the energy of light less than 3.2eV, however, the reacted amount of rubrene decreased as the amount of ZnO increased. There is a difference in the reacted amount of rubrene between ZnO-$O_2$-rubrene-bromobenzene and ZnO-$N_2$-rubrene-bromobenzene mixtures. From the results, it was suggested that the adsorbed $O_2^-$ on ZnO transform to singlet oxygen in the photodesorption process and the singlet oxygen reacted with rubrene. 산화아연에 흡착된 $O_2^-$의 광탈착이 ZnO-$O_2(N_2)$-rubrene-bromobenzene계에서 연구되었다. 산화아연의 금지대 에너지(3.2eV)보다 큰 에너지를 가진 빛을 계에 조사할 때, 산화아연의 양이 증가함에 따라 변화된 rubrene의 양도 증가하였다. 그러나 3.2eV보다 적은 에너지의 빛을 조사시켰을 때는 산화아연의 양이 증가함에 따라 변화된 rubrene의 양은 감소하였다. ZnO-$O_2$-rubrene-bromobenzene계와 ZnO-$N_2$-rubrene-bromobenze계에서의 변화된 rubrene의 양은 현저한 차이가 있었다. 이 사실들로 부터 산화아연에 흡착된 $O_2^-$가 광탈착 과정에서 단일항 산소로 변화하고 변화된 단일항 산소가 rubrene과 반응하는 것으로 생각되었다.
