Adding a fengshui element to tourism storytelling, it will become a tourism fengshui storytelling. in addition, tourism fengshui storytelling can be defined as a means of talking to tourists by creating a story of a tourist spot in fengshui (Chang Won-kee, 2010). This study is a study on tourism fengshui storytelling in Gyeongbokgung, representative of Seoul, visited by 78.7% of foreign tourists last year. All the buildings in the Joseon Dynasty in Seoul were created as fengshui. In particular, Gyeongbokgung has been influenced by the fengshui influence since its founding. Therefore, a storytelling strategy using Fengshui is needed for effective tourism storytelling. To this end, first; Fengshui storytelling should be developed based on Fengshui theory. For this, systematic tourism fengshui theory should be established. Second; A systematic tourism fengshui theory education is necessary for tourism fengshui storytelling. Third; We will reorganize the viewing point to see the whole Seoul in fengshui, and install a sculpture in Namsan that is good enough to understand the whole national-condition. and we need to create an unmanned interpretation system that is easy for foreigners to use.

If a tourism factor is added to storytelling, it becomes “tourism storytelling.” Also, if a fungshui factor is added to “tourism storytelling,” it becomes “fengshui tourism storytelling.” As introduced above, “fengshui tourism” means toursim with a fungshui factor. Fungshui tourism will reinterpret South Korea’s tourism resources and become an alternative form of tourism. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the fungshui factor in Daejeon and to suggest an alternative form of tourism. To do this, a new touristic image of Daejeon should be created through these processes, 1) discovering fengshui stories, 2) analyzing story factors and 3) theme-developing and positioning. To be specific, the city of taegeuk, including mountain taegeuk and water taegeuk, is a recommended image. The other recommended image is the future 800-year city. These images should be developed and publicized. Also, fengshui tourism storytelling in Daejeon should be developed so that a touristic image of it can be created. To do so, fistly, storytelling in terms of fengshui needs to be added to tourist attractions. Secondly, tourist information sings or boards should include information on fengshui factors. Thirdly, training for feng shui commentators and sightseeing guides is necessary.
