노인의 가족관계가 문제음주를 매개로 하여 생활만족도에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 노인의 가족관계가 문제음주를 매개로 하여 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 가족관계가 생활만족도에 미치는 효과를 보다 구체적으로 검증함으로써 실천적인 함의를 제시하고자 한다. 2017년 한국은 2000년 고령화 사회 진입 후 65세 이상의 노인 인구가 전체 인구의 14.3%로 17년만에 고령사회로 초고속 진입하였다(통계청, 2018). 고령화 사회에서 고령사회로 진입하는 데 24년이 걸린 일본과 비교하여도 유례없는 고령화 속도를 보이고 있다. 2026년 경에는 전체 인구의 20.8%로 초고령 사회에 도달할 것으로 전망된다(보건복지부, 2018). 고령화로 인한 노인 인구의 증가는 가장 큰 사회적 문제로 인식되고 있으며, 이와 관련하여 건강한 노후에 대한 관심이 그 어느 때보다 증대되고 있다(장신재, 2017).

The purpose of this article is to point out what, how, and why to teach/learn English. Newly developed methods/approaches of TESL/TEFL are described and analysed, and the results imply that no one method/approach is perfect, and no one is useless. It is claimed that methods/approaches should be integratively applied to English classes, Accordingly. English should be taught as a whole including all skills and culture. Language teaching is not only teaching language per se but teaching culture and thought-process.

Language includes phonological, syntactic, and semantic features. That is, language consists of listening, speaking, reading, and writing plus rules and culture. When children acquire their native language, they acquire all these skills intuitively, subconsciously, and simultaneously. Therefore, language education should include all these features. In teaching English in Korea, listening, speaking ,reading, writing, grammar, and culture of English should be taught simultaneously as a whole language. Language learning is developing the learners' thoughts rather than simply learning one or two skills of language.

The purpose of this article is to suggest a method of training graduate students majoring in English Education for their writing of research papers through writing English prose. In the process of teaching writing prose, simplicity and clarity of sentence writing; unity, cohesion, and coherence of paragraph/essay writing are emphatically discussed. Furthermore, technical elements such as elements of a research paper, a proposal, an abstract, a review of literature and other mechanics are mentioned and illustrated. It is concluded that writing research papers is accomplished by training in the process of logical thinking. Therefore, through training in rhetorical and logical writing of English prose, writing an academically required research paper can be accomplished.

부모-자녀관계, 아동의 우울 및 공격성과 학교적응 간의 구조모형 검증

This study examines the overall structure among parents-child relationship, children's depression, aggression, and school adjustment using structural equation modeling to provide theoretical basis improving children's school adjustment. The data of 2,844 elementary school children in the 2005 Youth Panel are analysed. The results of this study are: (1) parent-child relationship affects children's depression, aggression and school adjustment, (2) children's depression affects aggression and school adjustment, (3) children's aggression doesn't affect their school adjustment. Suggestions with regard to improving children's school adjustment are offered. 본 연구는 가족요인인 부모-자녀관계와 아동의 개인적 특성인 우울과 공격성이 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 과정의 총괄적 구조를 구조방정식모형을 통하여 검증하여 아동의 학교적응을 향상시키기 위한 예방 및 개입 방안의 토대를 마련하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 한국청소년개발원의 2005년 청소년패널데이터 중 초등학교 4학년 데이터를 활용하였다. 최종분석 대상에는 2, 84명의 초등학생이 포함되었다. 그 결과, 공격성과 학교적응 간의 관계를 제외한 모든 변수간의 경로계수가 통계적으로 유의하였다. 즉, 부모-자녀관계가 좋을수록 아동의 우울은 감소하고, 공격성도 감소하는 경향을 보이며, 학교에 적응을 잘하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 우울한 아동일수록 공격성이 증가하는 경향을 보이며, 학교적응이 더 어렵다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 공격성은 학교적응에 통계적으로 의미 있는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 아동의 학교적응을 증진시킬 수 있는 실천적 방안들을 제시하였다.

Based on the idea of learning the new by learning the old, the most effective method of learning/teaching English in Korean schools is sought. Learning/teaching theories in psychology, linguistics, and education are discussed. Each position in theories is discussed. Students and teachers' personality factors and educational situations are also discussed. Then, the discussion concludes that all theories and positions have to be integrated to reach holism in learning/teaching English in Korean schools.

<Abstract> The purpose of this article Is to show how to write a research paper: Principles of writing sentences and discourses as a whole research paper are discussed.A research paper should include simplicity, clarity, concreteness in its writing sentences, and unity, cohesion, coherence through its whole writing. A research paper commonly consists of introduction, review of literature, body, and conclusion. Through all these parts, a research paper should have its thesis and the writer's clear Position based on selected references. A research paper also includes bibliography and abstract. This paper is written as an exemplary model of a research paper for its form and content.

This paper is a proposal for developing a writing textbook of academic English. The paper will include writing a paragraph, writing an essay, and writing a research paper with various references and the author's previous research papers regarding English writing. After the introductory chapter, chapter two, writing a paragraph, mentions definition of a paragraph and principles of writing a paragraph. Specifically, chapter two discusses the concept of general/specific, simplicity/clarity, unity, and coherence of a paragraph as an essay. Chapter three, writing an essay, states a longer essay of many paragraphs. It defines an introductory paragraph with a thesis statement, body, and a concluding paragraph. It also classifies discourse into four main sections; narration, description, exposition, and argumentation. Chapter four, writing a research paper, deals with definition and structure of a research paper with more detailed components; quotations, references, punctuations, and mechanics. As conclusion, chapter five emphasizes the need of teaching academic writing of English to university learners of English with syntheses of the paper contents.
