가스펠 가창 표현 중 Call & Response에 대한 연구 : Kurt Carr Singers의 음악을 중심으로

노동요와 토속음악으로 시작했던 흑인들의 음악적 표현은 영가, 가스펠, 블루스, 로큰롤, 펑키, 재즈, 힙합 등 현존하는 모든 대중음악에 모태가 되 었다. 그런 의미에서 흑인음악사에 대한 연구는 계속 이루어져야 하고 그 만큼 가치가 있다고 생각한다. 흑인음악에 대한 다양한 시각에서부터 시 작한 많은 연구가 있었지만 그들의 가창 표현 중 Call & Response에 대 한 정리는 찾아 볼 수 없었다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 흑인음악의 태동 과 특징에 대해 서술하고 가스펠의 가창 표현 중 그들의 공동체적 의식이 만들어낸 특징이라고 할 수 있는 Call & Response에 대해 조명해 보았 다. 본 연구에서는 흑인음악 가창의 표현 중 한 특징인 Call & Response에 대한 세 가지 분류를 제시하였다. 첫째, 멜로디로 구성된 Call & Response를 ‘Melody Call’과 ‘Melody Response’ 라고 명명하였고, 둘째, 외치는 형식을 ‘Shout Call’이라고 명명하고 ‘Shout Call’과 ‘Melody Response’의 구조에 대해 제시하였고, 셋째, 보컬과 악기의 조합, 악기와 악기간의 조합을 ‘Melody Call’과 ‘Instrument Response’라고 명명하여 분류하였다. 미국의 가스펠그룹인 Kurt Carr Singers의 음악을 토대로 분석하였다. The expressions of traditional music and work song have become a root of popular music, such as spirituals, gospel, blues, Jazz and Hiphop. In that sense, research of black music is worth to be continued. There has been a variety of views and which caused many cases of research on black music, but none of them have been able to find answers to Call & Response. In this dissertation, I explored the feature of black music. I also illuminated the expression of a singing technique: Call & Response which is generaged by their community spirit. I categorized the technique, Call & Response into 3 parts. The First part is about how Melody consists of the Call & Response and I named it ‘Melody Call’ and ‘Melody Response’. The Second part is called ‘Shout Call’ and I suggest structure of ‘Shout Call’ and ‘Melody Response’. In Third part, I classified combination of musical instruments and voice. I also named the part as ‘Melody call and Instrument response.’ The categorization of each chapter were based on the song of Kurt Carr Singers who are a Gospel group.

A layout plan identifies the size and location of temporary facilities and significantly affects the safety, cost, duration, and productivity of construction projects. Despite significant research pertaining to various approaches for improving the efficiency of construction site layout planning, most developed models are limited to simple visualizations and do not reflect the surrounding environment and layout variables. Therefore, a more intuitive and realistic layout planning considering the actual site environment is required. This study is conducted to (i) establish a building information modeling-based temporary object library, (ii) present a layout planning simulation using a digital twin to understand the actual site conditions, and (iii) conduct a preliminary review of temporary work plans. The methodology proposed in this study will increase the efficiency of existing temporary work plan tasks and facilitate decision-making by enhancing the overall understanding of the temporary work plan operation.
