현대섬유예술에 있어서 Soft Sculpture에 관한 연구

In the study, the focus has been paid to an illumination of the concepts of fiber arts that are reintegrated today, and that of the formative characteristics of the 'Soft Sculpture'. This study investigates the formative characteristics due to the rise and development of the 'Soft Sculpture'. The Soft Sculpture works appearing in exhibitions and their reference materials were surveyed and analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. First, the formative expressions of the soft sculptures are spatial-enviornmental forms, each of which permits free expression according to the idiosyncracy of the artist. Second, new techniques have been developed by innovative fiber artists and used for expression in the artists' own way. This ensues a diversity in the formative expression mode of the soft sculpture. However, the problems of the soft sculpture remain to the solved, ie., the permanence and preservation of the material. These problems must be solved and based on a formative and mental foundation that reflects the world view so that the soft sculpture way emerge as and art of its own.

On the basis of the fact that Tsai Lun invented paper in A.D. 105, paper has been an important thing in human life for 2000 years. The role of paper as an art medium, which is one of the paper's abilities, is generalized and wide-spread. Paper, in a sense, seems to exist for drawing because it is easy to get and to express somthing. But recently, a new recognition of paper happens and attracts artists' attention. The new movement is that various paper work is performing by use of paper as a medium, and interested artists are participating in the process of producing hand-made paper. In addition, the characteristics of paper such as flexibility and reaction to dampness, heat and pressure trend toward cubic inclination which comes out form of paper sculpture. Paper, as an art medium, was regarded as a field of painting. But in modern art recognized the value of paper, it comes out as a new trend of art. In these days, paper is recognized not only as an art medium but also as unique pattern of working with hand-made paper.

Art evolves underthe spiritual and environmental influence of the times. As the concept of formation becomes variable, modern art comes to feely seek after the mode of expressing its ideas. Also, the tendency of expanding the areas in art makes the concept of 'genre' ambiguous. On the other hand, the consistently gradual efforts for improving technique and diversifying the the kinds of materials enlarge modern fiber arts to interact with other areas of various arts, to exploit its peculiar material, technique, and image, and to seek after the result of the formative, emotional and artistic interests which modern artists have. This modern fiber arts has made its position form as a kind of fine art under the influence of object art and taken the opportunity of developing into an artistic textile which expresses some aspet of cubism by deviating from the traditional technique. Fiber ars cames its peculiar cgaracteristics in the expression of object art owing to the softness of its material, textile, and attempts organic relation to the modern-under cvilization with a view to joining the reality. Accordingly, it brings about expending the expression of fiber arts and makes its stand firmly as a new formative art.

유전공학에 대한 일반인의 위험지각

본 연구에서는 유전공학과 관련된 다양한 위험지각의 특성을 탐색하였다. 남녀 대학생을 대상으로 유전공학응용 위험항목에 대한 위험강도, 심리적 특성, 사회적 신뢰를 조사한 결과, 여자가 남자보다 위험을 더 높게 지각하였으며 남녀 모두 의약학적 응용의 위험보다 식품응용 위험을 더 높게 지각하였다. 특히 여자는 남자와 비교하여 유전공학기술 응용의 잠정적 이익은 더 적고 위해는 더 많은 것으로 지각하였다. 사회적 신뢰에서 남녀간에 유의한 차이는 발견되지 않았으나 식품응용에 대한 신뢰가 의학응용보다 더 낮았으며 사회적 신뢰와 위험강도는 유의한 부적 상관을 보였다. 유전공학 위험지각을 예측하는 변인들에 대한 다중희귀분석 결과, 식품응용위협은 남녀 모두 위해가 가장 중요한 변인인 반면, 의학응용 위험은이들 응용이 줄 수 있는 이익과 두려움의 심리적 특성에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과는 남녀에 따라, 유전공학 응용의 성격에 따라 효과적인 위험관리 의사소통의 방법을 찾을 필요가 있음을 시사한다. The present study was to explore the factors affecting the risk perception of gene technology in a public(nonexpert) sample. The psychological constructs underlying attitude toward various applications of gene technology and social trust were examined. Compared with males, females perceived gene technology applications as more risky. Both groups perceived food-related applications to be riskier than medical applications. Compared with females, males perceived food-related application as more beneficial and less harmful. The social trust for the food application was lower than the medical application and there was a negative correlation between social trust and risk perception. Regression analyses of risk perception showed that both groups' perception of the risk of food applications were predicted by potential harm and dread factor. On the other hand, potential benefits was more important explanatory factor for the medical application. The results imply the need for effective risk management and communication for different types of gene technology.

Among the numerous artistic works which showed pure volition of construction to express free creative subjectivity of spirits. as the fiber arts moi-ks formed creatively by using the materials and technique. methodical attempt with active and positive has been selected an object of this study. With a opened view than a fixed idea a continued research and experimental efforts on the materials and technique should be positively exerted and harmonized with spiritual world creatively.

초급피아니스트를 위한 바로크 시대 문헌의 교육학적 연구

This study is designed to a guide solo keyboard literature from the Baroque period for the elementary-level piano students and to promote a systematic technical and musical growth of their performance skill. The elementary level is concerned with primarily with acquiring the fundamentals of piano playing, that is, keyboard geography, note reading, rhythm and hand coordination. Most elementary series contain contemporary pieces by the author, classical pieces of homophonic texture and folk songs as teaching repertoire. However, there are few original Baroque repertoire. The Baroque pieces are suitable repertoire to develop physical coordination which is the technique that should be developed at the elementary-level. Also the ability to conceive of musical structure horizontally rather than vertically is essential for a successful performance of the Baroque compositions. The projection of short motives and theme statements requires tonal balancing and blending of voices that can only result from the planned listening. This practice will teach students' attentive listening to their own playing from the beginning. The composers are carefully chosen out of the Baroque composers who have the works published today and recorded as valuable literature in the keyboard history according to Music in the Baroque Era(1947) by M. F. Bukofzer and Five Centuries of Keyboard Music(1972) by J. Gillespie. The elementary level repertoire are selected form those composed by J. S. Bach(1685-1750), George F. Handel(1685-1759), Jeremiah Clarke(1678-1727), Henry Purcell(ca.l668-1696), Jean-Phillip Rameau(1683-1764), Domenico Scarlatti(1685-1757). The compiled solo piano works of these composers were played and analyzed by the writer to determine the appropriateness for the elementary students. Based on the degree of musical and technical difficulty, elementary level is such divided into 3 levels by the following: Early-elementary, Middle-elementary, and Advanced-elementary. Also the special musical and technical problem that could be appear in each piece were discussed. It is found that there is a large amount of solo keyboard literatures from the Baroque period that are appropriate for the elementary-level students. It is also hoped that the repertoire list compiled for the elementary-level students in this study would greatly assist teachers in selecting appropriate literature for an elementary student and help him/her for technical and musical development.

오늘날의 인터넷의 영향력은 기업이나 개인 뿐 아니라 사회 각 분야에 걸쳐 빠르게 확산 되어가고 있으며, 이에 따라 여러가지 기술적인 난제를 안겨주고 있는데, 그 대표적인 것이 스위치나 라우터와 같은 스위칭 장비에서의 패킷 포워딩 기술이라 하겠다. 패킷 포워딩이란 다양한 네트웍들을 연결하는 스위칭 장비에서 수행되는 동작으로, 들어온 패킷의 헤더 정보를 이용하여 최종 목적지 네트웍을 향해 패킷을 내 보내주는 일련의 단계를 말한다.(중략)
