Mast cells is the key effector cells for IgE-mediated allergic responses. In this study, we investigated whether Rhus trichocarpa extract (RT) inhibited IgE-mediated allergic responses in mast cells and an allergic animal model. We further tried to find its mechanism of action in mast cells. We found that RT suppressed antigen-stimulated degranulation and production of TNF-α and IL-4 in rat basophilic leukemia (RBL)-2H3 mast cells and bone marrow-derived mast cells (BMMC), as well as IgE-mediated passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) in mice. As the mechanism of action of RT, it inhibited the activation of spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk), a pivotal signaling molecule for activation of mast cells and that of LAT, a downstream adaptor molecule of Syk in FcεRI-mediated signal pathways. RT also suppressed the activation of mitogen-activated protein (MAP)kinases and Akt. The current results demonstrated for the first time that RT has the anti-allergic effect through inhibiting degranulation and secretion of cytokines by suppression of Syk in antigen-stimulated mast cells. Therefore, RT might be useful for allergic diseases.

Allergic diseases have increased rapidly over the past decades, affecting an estimated 20~30% ofthe population in developed countries. In this study, we investigated whether or not a typical costal sand dune plantCarex pumila (CPE) suppresses the activation of mast cells and IgE-mediated allergic response in vitro and in vivo. As the results, the extract of Carex pumila inhibited antigen-stimulated degranulation in RBL-2H3 cells and Bonemarrow-derived mast cells (BMMCs), and IgE-mediated passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) in mice. CPE also suppressedthe production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, TNF-α and IL-4, in antigen-stimulated mast cells. As its mechanismof action, CPE inhibited the activation of Syk in FcεRI-mediated signalling pathway, and that of LAT, adownstream adaptor molecule of Syk, in a dose-dependent manner. CPE also suppressed the activation of mitogenactivatedprotein (MAP) kinases, p38, ERK1/2, JNK, and Akt. Altogether, CPE inhibited mast cell activation and IgEmediatedallergic response by antigen through suppressing the activation of Syk. These results suggest that CPE maybe useful for the treatment of allergic diseases.

청소년지도사의 다문화 감수성과 다문화 교수효능감에 대한 연구

This study aims to understand the multicultural sensitivity and multicultural teaching efficacy of youth workers. As currently there are not many actual researches on youth workers' multicultural awareness, the study on their multicultural sensitivity and teaching efficacy would be significant to provide basic data to perform multicultural education related to youth activities. Conducting a survey targeting 265 youth workers working in the whole nation, the conclusion like below has been drawn. First, in the results of dividing youth workers' multicultural sensitivity into participation in interaction, respect for cultural difference, confidence in interaction, enjoyment of interaction, and attention to interaction, youth workers mostly had high level of multicultural sensitivity while several items showed different results. Second, in the results of classifying/analyzing youth workers' multicultural teaching efficacy into teaching efficacy of general life, lesson function, and interpersonal relationship, youth workers' teaching efficacy of general life was highly formed while their teaching efficacy of lesson function was low. Based on the results above, the measures to increase youth workers' multicultural sensitivity and multicultural teaching efficacy were suggested. 본 연구를 통하여 청소년지도사의 다문화 감수성과 다문화 교수효능감에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 청소년지도사의 다문화 인식과 관련하여 실질적 연구가 미비한 현실에서 이들을 대상으로 다문화 감수성 및 교수효능감을 조사하는 것은 청소년 활동에서 다문화교육을 시행하는데 필요한 기초 자료를 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연구를 위하여 전국에서 활동하고 있는 265명의 청소년지도사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 청소년지도사의 다문화 감수성을 상호작용 참여도, 문화차이 존중도, 상호작용 자신도, 상호작용 향유도, 상호작용 주의도로 나누어 살펴본 결과 청소년지도사는 대체적으로 높은 수준의 다문화 감수성을 가지고 있었으나 몇 가지 항목에서 상이한 결과를 나타내었다. 둘째, 청소년지도사의 다문화 교수효능감을 일반생활 교수효능감, 수업기능 교수효능감, 인간관계 교수효능감으로 분류하여 분석한 결과, 청소년지도사의 일반생활 교수효능감과 인간관계 교수효능감은 높게 형성되어 있는 반면, 수업기능 교수효능감은 낮은 수준의 결과가 나타났다. 위의 결과를 토대로 청소년지도사의 다문화 감수성과 다문화 교수효능감을 높이기 위한 방안 등을 제언하였다.

청소년지도사의 다문화교육 이해와 태도에 관한 연구

As the number of adolescents with various backgrounds rapidly increase, the society is paying more attention to education intended to help adaptation of multicultural youth to the Korean society. Especially from the macroscopic point of view, the role of youth workers who teach adolescents in training, exchange, volunteer, and art activities in the local community became more important. This study examined 'understanding of and attitude to multiculture education environment, role of multiculture education, and multicultural youth activities, of youth workers. For the study, 265 youth workers working in a youth institution or organization were selected as subjects. The analysis showed significant difference in all of the sub-domains in understanding of and attitude to multiculture education. Based on the result, the author discussed requirements for youth workers and institutional support that are necessary for multiculture education, and proposed policy that will enable the government, local government, and public to provide an opportunity and practical support for multiculture education to youth workers. 다양한 배경을 지닌 청소년들의 수가 급격히 증가하면서 다문화청소년의 한국사회 적응을 위한 교육이 주목을 받기 시작했다. 특히, 청소년들의 교육활동 범위를 거시적인 관점에서 바라보았을 때, 지역사회 내에서 청소년활동을 통하여 수련활동, 교류활동, 동아리활동, 봉사활동, 예술활동 등을 지도하는 청소년지도사의 역할이 더욱 중요해졌다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 청소년지도사의 다문화교육에 대한 이해와 태도를 알아보기 위하여 ‘다문화교육 환경에 대한 이해와 태도’, ‘다문화교육 역할에 대한 이해와 태도’, ‘다문화 청소년활동에 대한 이해와 태도’, ‘다문화 활동과정에 대한 이해와 태도’를 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 청소년기관 및 단체 등에서 활동하고 있는 청소년지도사 265명을 연구대상자로 선정하였다. 청소년지도사의 다문화교육에 대한 이해와 태도에 대한 분석 결과 청소년지도사는 모든 하위영역에서 유의미한 차이를 보였으며, 위의 결과를 토대로 다문화교육과 관련하여 청소년지도사에게 필요한 요건 및 제도적 지원방안을 모색하였다. 청소년지도사에게 다문화교육의 기회를 제공하기 위해 정부, 지방자치단체 및 민간이 함께하는 정책 방향을 제시하였고, 청소년지도사를 위한 실용적인 다문화교육 지원방안 등을 제언하였다.

COVID-19 has transformed our lives into untact circumstances. The performance also moved from offline to online, and a new content called metaverse performances emerged in the rapidly changing untact trend. However, academic researches on the characteristics of metaverse performances have not yet been conducted. Therefore, this researcher felt a need for research on metaverse performances to prepare for post-COVID, and based on the remediation theory, I would like to academically examine the process of consilience of metaverse and performances. With detailed research methods, I predicted the future of metaverse performance contents in the Post-COVID era by studying the status of metaverse performances in the pandemic using Jay David Bolter and Richard Grusin’s Remediation and its double logic. First, it was confirmed that the metaverse performance was remediated by the offline performance. Based on this, we could see that human ego is remediated as a virtual ego in a metaverse performance and mental consilience can be achieved. In addition, it was confirmed that aesthetic consilience was possible through the experience of Bodily co-Presence and liveness in metaverse performance. Finally, the difference from the existing in offline performances was discussed regarding the technical consilience of metaverse scenography. By these three aspects of consilience, this paper confirmed the possibilities that metaverse performances can become new contents of performance.
