Objectives : The aim of this study is to investigate the state of cervical disc herniation according to the degree of cervical lordosis and age. Methods : 67 records of inpatients who were diagnosed with herniated intervertebral disc(HIVD) of the cervical spine were analyzed. Cobb’s method, Jochumsen method and the Ishihara index were used to measure the degree of cervical lordosis. The state of the cervical disc was identified using magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) of the cervical spine. Then correlations among cervical lordosis, age and cervical disc herniation were analyzed. Results : Disc bulging was associated with hypolordosis and disc protrusion was associated with hyperlordosis and age. Disc extrusion was not associated with either cervical lordosis or age. The number of disc herniations in the cervical spine was correlated with age significantly, but not with cervical lordosis. Conclusions : Cervical disc herniation had a tendency to correlate with age and cervical lordosis, although this is not definite. Future studies that analyze more radiographic images of patients with HIVD of the cervical spine might be necessary to identify the influence of cervical lordosis on cervical disc herniation.

The insulator-metal transition (IMT) in vanadium dioxide (VO2) which occurs above room temperature (67 °C) is highly sensitive to atomic defects caused by oxygen stoichiometry. The strained growth and the degree of oxygen deficiency in VO2 epitaxial films result in lowering of transition temperature below room temperature as well as the broadening of transition parameters such as transition width and hysteresis width, which limit its application potential. Here we demonstrate the growth of highly oriented strain-relaxed VO2 thin films on (001)-oriented TiO2 substrates at various oxygen partial pressures, exhibiting the narrow transition and hysteresis width. The cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy and x-ray diffraction analyses of the films reveal the highly oriented growth of insulating monoclinic VO2. The IMT parameters associated with temperature-dependent phase transition vary with the oxygen partial pressure used during the deposition. The presence of multiple and mixed valence states of vanadium in the films was confirmed by Raman and XPS analyses. We have achieved a narrow transition width (2.3 °C) and hysteresis width (1.2 °C) through controlling the oxygen stoichiometry during the growth of VO2/TiO2 films.
UV 임프린트를 이용한 이미지 센서용 마이크로 렌즈 어레이 성형 공정 개발

High-density image sensors have microlens array to improve photosensitivity. It is conventionally fabricated by reflow process. The reflow process has some weak points. UV imprinting process can be proposed as an alternative process to integrate micro lens array on photodiodes. In this study, the UV imprionting process to integrate microlens array on image sensor was developed using UV transparent flexible mold and simulated image sensor substrate. The UV transparent flexible mold was fabricated by replicating master pattern using siliconacrylate photopolymer. The releasing property and shape accuacy of siliconacrylate mold was analysed.After UV imprinting process, replication quality and align accuracy was analysed.
