        기형도 시에 나타난 소외 이미지 연구

        ‘Alienation’ in the Ki, Hyeong-do’s poetry, which is running through his poetic world, underlies the consciousness of his poems as a basic motif. Thus, this study examines the aspects of the alienation in the Ki’s poetry by analyzing how a sense of alienation is realized in his work and especially how building various images is related to expressing a sense of alienation. The poet makes characters in his poems remain anonymous by calling them ‘a guy’, ‘Mr. Kim,’ or ‘he’, and this anonymity can be viewed as a model of an alienated man who has lost his identity. The poetic narrator, who feels frustrated by being alienated from the self, develops the consciousness of an old man, and this leads to death. An old man is an alienated person pushed out of society and his own life, and his future is nothing but death. It can be considered as a manifestation of a sense of alienation that a dark and gloomy image dominates Ki’s poetry rather than the image of joy and hope. A sense of alienation takes a concrete form by borrowing the natural images in the poems. His poetic world is dark and cold and it is always rainy, snowy, or very foggy. Although there is a little deviation in their meanings, those images of natural phenomenon such as fog, clouds, and rain are utilized as the medium that emphasizes the image of alienation. It is safe to say that the alienation expressed in Ki, Hyeong-do’s poetry results from criticism of Korean society in the 1980s where life became irrational and structural imbalance got intensified. His poems, which are riddled with death and a sense of futility, represents the alienated people of the day. The sense of alienation discussed in this thesis is the most common public emotion in the 1980s, and the poet takes that public emotion, alienation as a poetic motif. 기형도의 시에서 ‘소외’는 그의 시세계를 관류하는 기본 모티브가 되어 시의식의 기저를 형성하고 있다. 이에 본고는 그의 작품에서 어떻게 소외의식이 구현되고 있는지, 특히 다양한 이미지의 구축이 소외의식의 표출과 어떤 관련이 있는지에 대한 분석을 통해 기형도 시에 나타나는 소외의 제 양상을 살펴보았다. 시인은 등장인물들을 주로 ‘사내’, ‘金’, ‘그’ 등과 같이 익명화 시키는데, 그 익명성은 곧 주체를 상실한 소외된 인간의 전형으로 볼 수 있다. 자아로부터 소외되어 절망하는 화자는 곧 늙은이 의식을 갖게 되며, 그 늙은이 의식은 죽음으로 이어진다. 늙은이는 사회에서, 또 자신의 삶에서 주변부로 밀려난 소외인이며, 그의 미래는 곧 죽음인 것이다. 시 속에 기쁨과 희망 생성의 이미지 보다 어둡고 우울한 소멸의 이미지가 주조를 이루고 있는 것도 소외의식의 발로로 볼 수 있다. 소외의식은 자연 이미지의 차용으로 구체화된다. 그의 시는 어둡고, 추운 계절적 배경 속에 늘 눈과 비가 내리고 안개가 자욱이 끼여 있다. 안개, 구름, 비 등의 자연 현상 이미지들이 그 의미의 편차는 다소 있지만, 대체로 소외 이미지를 부조시키는 매개체로 활용되고 있다. 기형도의 시에 드러나는 소외의식은 현대의 부조리한 삶, 특히 구조적 모순이 심화됐던 1980년대 한국 사회에 대한 비판 의식에서 기원한다고 할 수 있다. 죽음과 허무로 점철된 그의 시편들은 당대의 소외된 민중들의 대표성을 띠고 있는 것이다. 본고에서 논한 소외의식이야말로 가장 80년대적인 공적 감정이었으며, 시인은 그 공적 감정인 소외를 시적 모티브로 삼고 있는 것이다.

        Increase of Plasma IL-12/p40 Ratio Induced by the Combined Therapy of DNA Vaccine and Lamivudine Correlates with Sustained Viremia Control in CHB Carriers

        Background: We previously reported that IFN-γ producing T cell responses induced by the combined therapy of DNA vaccine and lamivudine for one year are important for the induction of sustained virological response (SVR). However, IFN-γ production is not sufficient to predict sustained viremia control in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) carriers treated. Methods: Twelve CHB carriers were intramuscularly immunized 12 times at a 4-week interval with 8 mg of HBV DNA vaccine during the standard lamivudine treatment (100 mg/daily/1 year). The level of cytokines during and after the combined therapy in plasma of all 12 CHB carriers treated was determined by each ELISA kit. Six out of 12 CHB carriers revisited the clinic, and their HBV DNA levels were examined. Results: The combined therapy increased plasma IL-12 and IL-12/p40 ratio during the treatment (baseline vs. peak level: 41.8±8.3 vs. 163.1±29.2 pg/ml; p<0.01 and 0.96±0.25 vs. 3.58±0.86; p<0.01, respectively), and the peak level of plasma IL-12 and IL-12/p40 ratio was evoked at 6 to 10 months during the combined therapy. In particular, CHB carriers with SVR had two and three-fold higher level of the peak plasma IL-12 and plasma IL-12/p40 ratio than non-virological responders (NVRs), respectively (218.0± 41.4 vs. 108.1±28.6 pg/ml; p=0.09 and 5.35±1.38 vs. 1.80±0.29; p<0.05, respectively), while p40 level was consistent during the combined therapy. In addition, there was no significant temporal correlation between the peak IL-12/p40 ratio and the elevation of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) in this study, contrast to IFN-α therapy which induced peak IL-12 level following ALT flares. Conclusion: Our results indicate that the combined therapy induces the increase of plasma IL-12 and IL-12/p40 ratio, which are associated with long-term SVR in CHB carriers.         Effects of Fermented Cottonseed and Soybean Meal with Phytase Supplementation on Gossypol Degradation, Phosphorus Availability, and Growth Performance of Olive Flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus)

        To reduce anti-nutritional factors in plant protein sources for fish meal replacement in fish feeds, cottonseed and soybean meal (CS) were fermented with Aspergillus oryzae. A feeding trial was conducted to verify the effects of fermented CS (FCS) with phytase supplementation on gossypol detoxification, phosphorus digestibility, antioxidant activity, and growth performance of juvenile olive flounder over 10 weeks. Four diets were formulated to replace 0, 30, or 40% fish meal protein with CS or FCS (designated as CS0, CS30, FCS30P, and FCS40P). Phytase (1,000 FTU/㎏) was added to FCS30P and FCS40P. The microbial fermentation significantly increased dietary total polyphenols and consequently led to higher DPPH radical-scavenging activities in fish feed and fish tissue. Dietary and liver gossypol concentrations were dramatically decreased by the fermentation process. Phosphorus digestibility was significantly increased in fish fed the FCS40P diet. However, growth performance decreased in fish fed FCS diets. This study demonstrates that the fermentation process and phytase supplementation can improve the phosphorus availability of plant protein sources in fish. The fermentation of CS by A. oryzae could increase antioxidant activities in feed and fish and effectively degrade toxic gossypol in cottonseed meal.

        문학(성)의 민주화와 민중 언어의 실천 - 대전지역 무크지 『삶의 문학』을 중심으로 -

        The literature in the 1980s is called as the “era of mook” or the era of “mook movement.” If emergence of mook magazines brought the “stories of typewriters” that have not been raised and took measures in “creating a whole new definition” unlike conventional literature, it is required to pay attention to regional mook magazines published in the 1980s. If the core definition of mook is creation of aesthetic scope in the boundary excluding the center or the power, the place to create new definition at this boundary is periphery instead of the center because the regional mook magazines were the media of literature creation and possession centered on “typewriters” alienated from the “system of literature.” Therefore, this study is to determine the concretion process of how the “democratization of literature” and “public language” have been practiced in literature and to find the literary definitions in the 1980s by concentrating on the 『Literature of Life』, the mook magazine in Daejeon, among numerous regional mook magazines emerged in the 1980s. 80년대 문학은 ‘무크 시대’ 혹은 ‘무크 운동’의 시대로 불리기도 한다. 무크지의 등장이 소리 내지 못했던 ‘타자들의 이야기’를 불러내고, 그것으로 이전 문학과는 다른 ‘새로운 의미창출’로서의 역할을 한 것이라면 80년대 출판된 지역 무크지에 주목해 볼 필요가 있다. 무크의 가장 핵심적인 의미를 중심 혹은 권력에서 배제된 경계영역에서의 미적 범주의 창출이라 한다면, 이 경계 영역에서의 새로운 의미를 생성하게 되는 곳은 바로 중심부가 아닌 주변부로서 존재했던 지역이었고, ‘문학제도’에서 소외되었던 ‘타자’들이 중심이 되어 문학 생산과 향유의 주체가 되도록 했던 매체가 바로 지역 무크지였기 때문이다. 이에 본 논문은 80년대 등장했던 다수의 지역무크지들 중에서 특히 대전 지역 무크지인 『삶의 문학』에 집중하여 그들이 추구했던 ‘문학의 민주화’와 ‘민중 언어’가 문학에서 어떻게 실천되고 있는지 구체화 과정을 살펴보고 80년대의 문학적 의의를 찾아내려 하였다. 대전지역에서 발간된 『삶의 문학』은 80년대 일어난 무크 운동의 한 자리를 차지하고 있으면서 ‘문학성의 민주화’와 ‘민중 언어의 실천’이라는 방향성을 가지고 이를 이루기 위한 여러 가지 방법들을 모색하고 실천한 무크지이다. 『삶의 문학』동인들은 민중들이 자신들의 이야기를 표현할 수 있는 능동적 생산자로서의 위치를 부여해주는 민중 매체로서의 역할을 하고자 함을 밝히고, 이러한 문학적 좌표에 따라 민중들의 삶을 그들의 언어로서 표현할 수 있도록 시도하였다. 학생과 근로자들의 수기와 시편들을 실으면서 ‘삶의 현장’에서의 문학을 전달하고자 했으며, 특히 ‘공동창작 농민시’를 시도함으로써 농민들의 삶과 그들의 언어를 문학으로 표현하고자 했던 시도는 80년대 문학에서 고민하던 ‘민중미학’의 한 보기로 들 수 있을 것이다. 또한 이러한 양식적 실험은 민중문학에서 고민하던 지식인-민중의 바람직한 상호관계의 예로서도 의의를 지닌다 하겠다.
