        The study is to review the basic features of the anylatic approach of the drawings of infants that can analyse the correlation between infants and their emotion and charactor, and to survey problems with the analytic methods. The main contents of this study are as follows. First, what point is the anaysis of the drawings largely focused on? Second, what fields are there that analyse the emotion and charactor of infants, and what's their major subject? Third, in the analytic method that can analyse the emotion and charator of infants, what are are the way to collet the drawing? Fouth, what are the criteria for the analysis, and what are the criteria for the method to analye the emotion and charactor of infants. Fifth, what are the tests that can analyse the drawings of intants rationally? what procedures do they go through? Sixth, what are the major factor in analysis the drawings of infants? There has not been many studies of the drawings of infants in our country, since infants haven't developed in language enough to express their emotion and sentiment, it is necessary to analyze the drawings to diagnose the charactor or emotion of infants. The reasons are as follows, First, the study of the drawings of infants are focused on the emotional development, which has great effect on explaining the emotion, charactor, socioability and behariour of thouble of infants. Second, we can find out emotion and mood of infants through the analysis of the subject drawings, the free drawings and the family drawings. Thirds, we can grasp the emotion, mental stat and charactor of infant. Fourth, we can understand the inner world of infants through colors and shapes used in drawings. What cause trouble, however, in that ifants' expression could very depending on the mood of infants on the day they are tested ; they have unconscious preference of colors. But teachers need to understard and study the drawings of infant for this helpes teachers a lot to understand the emotion and charactor of the infants.

      • John Dewey의 교육사상이 한국 유치원 교육에 미친 영향에 대한 고찰

        John Dewey usually paid attention to idealism, logic, and psychology. These influenced on Hegel's Idealism, Darwinism and Pragmatism In Dewey's thoughts of the education, the principles of the education are those of experience, growth, intelligence, investigation. In the side of what to teach and how to teach, he emphasized the principle of the society and Psychology, the curriculum concerned with situations the times and the student-centered education approach to which the principle of continuity and interaction are applied, History show us that the first korean kindergarten curriculum is devised by Froebel. His content of the education is charged, by American radical leaders in kindergarten education, into education which take the interest, spontaneity, and living experiences of children into account. Through the influences of Japan and American, Korean kindergarten education is adopted differently from other countries. From Japanese kindergarten education, we adopted curriculum which made much of the Gabe, gift and work. From Catholic kindergarten education of American missionaries, we adopted the curriculum which characterized by Dewey's Empiricism and compromised radicalism After Liberation day of Korea, Korean kindergartens have experienced five times the national declaration of the new curriculum. From 1969, living-centered or experience-centered curriculum was adopted. From 1979, the student-centered educational philosophy was adopted by using the words in the guideline of the administration, for example, child's interest, experiences in life, spontaneity, self-expression which were the principle concepts of Dewey's educational philosophy. The student-centered educational philosophy was also adopted in 1979's, 1981's, 1987's and 1992's reforms of curriculum.

        Children show an astonishing ability in acquiring language. At the age of five or six they can speak their mother tongue in their own estimation. At this stage, grammars are varified to some extend and their vocabularies are greatly limited. Then it is necessary that both of them should be controlled and expended. It would be of great significance to ask how these can be attained for the children. The Departement of Education announced the curriculum for kindergarten in which the domain of language development was also defined. But the curriculum has described the goal of language development vaguely, it has not any specification of directions nor of teaching methods. I have tried to build up an effictive method to teach language in this papero And the conclusion summrized are as follow. (1) The ertenal goal of language teaching is to speak, hear, read, and write the mother tongue fluently, but we ought to teach speaking and hearing in kindergarten. (2) The language teaching in kindergarten should carriod out by three parts, according to the degree of language development. The first step is to make use of rhythem. The secand step is to make use of pictures and pictured nursery tales. The third step is to make use of tales and to make generalized the upper two steps.

      • 幼兒基 社會化 過程과 TV에 關한 硏究

        The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of TV on chilren's socialization. The specific problems of this research are as follows : First, how much is T.V. related to children's socialization and what influence does the former have on the latter? Second, what is the limitation or problem connoted in the above question? This reseach has been made by referring to various documentary records, Following the introduction which lays the ground work of the reseach, chapter Ⅱ develops an appropriate concept of socialization. While introducing its theoretical background. Chapter Ⅲ examines the influence of TV on children's socializations ; chiefly on prosocial, antisocial(aggression and violence), activities, information, stereotyping, control or habits gained from TV viewing, and character. In summary and conclusion the in fluences of TV on children's socialization are analyzed. According to this review there were four limitations or problems : 1. Influence of TV on children's socialization can not be examined detached from children's environment, influence of parents, value of attitude of reference group etc. 2. It is difficult to gain 'control group'. 3. It is difficult to know 'long effect' 4. It is difficult to clarify the cause of children's socialization. Anyway, the precise influences of TV on childrens socialization can not be measured accurately. TV, however may act as a strong agent having influence on children's socialization. Therefore, it is very important to overcome the four limitations of problems previously stated.

        동화를 활용한 요가활동이 유아의 기본운동능력 및 언어능력에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of yoga activities using storybooks on young children's basic athletic ability and language ability. The subjects of this research were a total of 42 young children at age 5 from two classes in S kindergarten, located in G city. The subjects were randomly assigned to two groups. The collected data were analyzed by t-test using SPSS program. The results of this study were as follows: First, the experimental group which conducted the basic athletic ability using storybooks showed significantly higher improvement in sub-factors of locomotor movement and manipulative movement. Second, the experimental group which conducted the language ability using storybooks showed significantly higher improvement in sub-factors of understanding, vocabulary and community. Therefore, it might be concluded that yoga activities using storybooks contributed to the development of basic athletic ability and language ability of young children. 본 연구는 동화를 활용한 요가활동이 유아의 기본운동능력과 언어능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 G시에 위치한 S 병설유치원 만 5세 유아 42명 즉, 실험집단 21명과 비교집단 21명을 대상으로 하였으며, 연구대상의 평균월령은 72개월이었다. 실험집단에는 동화를 활용한 요가활동을 처치하고 비교집단에는 동화를 활용한 게임활동을 제공하였다. 유아의 기본운동능력은 Ulrich(2000)의 대근육 운동능력 검사(Test of gross motor development-Ⅱ, TGMD Ⅱ)를 사용하였으며, 언어능력은 K-WIPPSI의 ‘언어성 검사’ 영역을 사용하여 측정하였다. 수집한 연구 자료는 t-검증을 통해 실험집단과 비교집단간의 차이를 분석하였다. 연구결과 비교집단보다 실험집단의 기본운동능력 점수가 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 언어능력은 ‘이해’, ‘어휘’, ‘공통성’ 점수가 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다.

      • 사회적 책임감과 친사회적 도덕추론능력에 관한 통문학적 연구

        The purpos of this study is to investigate the correlations in the cross-cultural countries on the social responsibility and the prosocial moral reasoning, and in patrticular to see the difference between the social responsibility and the prosocial moral reasoning in Korea. Teh research porblems set for the study are as follows : 1. Is there any sex difference in the social responsibility ? 2. Is there any sex difference in the prosocial moral reasoning ? 3. Is there any grade difference in the social responsibility and the prosocial moral reasoning ? The subjects of this study are 200 children composed of 64 students in the second grade, 77 in the fourth, and 59 in the sixth randomly samply from Helementary school in Taegu. The instruments for this study has been developed to fit for the Korean students with words and culture suitabel for them on the basis of the social responsibility scale which was developed originally Harris, D. A.(1957). And as for the prosocial moral reasoning, the proseocial moral dilemmas which was originally produced by Eisenberg. B. N.(1982). has been used in this study after appropriate modification for the Korean students. MANOVA process of SPSSPC has been applied to see the sex difference in Korea in the social responsibility and the prosocial moral reasoning. And also the same process has been applied to see the grade difference(second grade, fourth grade, sixth grade). The major finding are as follows 1. There is not any significant difference in Korea in the social reponsibility and the prosocial moral reasoning as the case at the high school students in Turkey. 2. There are significant correlations among grades in the social responsibility and not any in the prosocial moral reasoning. That is. there are significant correlations between the second and the fourth, and between the second and the sixth ein the social responsibility, but there is not any significant correlation between the fourth and the sixth.

      • 幼兒音樂 鑑賞指導에 대하여

        It is very important to teach music in childhood. Though the principle and method of teaching music is developing recently, there are still a lot of open questions. This study observed teaching methods and contents of children's music appreciation and analyzed their problems and tried to discover betler methods and contents. The results are as follows, ① The strongest factor to influence children's hearing is music by teachers parents, not by records. ② Children's music appreciation requires parents participation. ③ Children's understanding and interest should be considered in the choice of appreciation music. ④ Appreciation and expression have correlation and should be taught unifiedly. ⑤ Small group teaching and individual teaching are also important in appreciation. ⑥ Teaching methods and contents connected to the upper (elementary) school should be prepared. ⑦ Appreciation music should be chosen on the basis of our people's emotion. ⑧ Positive appreciation on the free atmosphere is required.

      • 유아학대 예방을 위한 부모교육에 관한 연구

        The Purpose of this study is to offer the basis materials necessary for reducing the possibility of induction of child abuse (Parents Education Program for the Child a Abuse Prevention) by grasping the feature of parents to child abuse, the relation between the parents to abuse child and the children through that most of the increasing child abuse is caused at each child's home mainly by the parents. From this study, this study concluded that: The education for parents and expected parents is needed to prevent child abuse. First, The Parenting Training on the desirable up bringing attitude of parents is needed to action feature and problem to be able to appear in the grpwh process of children. Second, Parental self-reliance groups should be formed to help the parents, when they are frustrated on faced with problem, to ease their social estrangment. Therefore, the teachers of nurseries and kindergratens can be trained the knowledge of child abuse and 'parent effectiveness trainning' and 'active parenting today' and 'child's teaching of a behavior' first, then they can teach it to the children s parents. The continuous researchs on the parents education program for child abuse prevention are needed.

        An emphasis should be placed on the food the children will have in their pre school days. The lack of its, nutrition cannot lead them to their sound social life. With respect to this fact, we have made an nutrions analysis and research on the actual conditions carried out by the kindergartens. Our study can be shortened as follows: 1. A milk diet has fulfilled Calory, Protein, and Calcium with the children. 2. Fruits may be a desirable food. 3. Instant Food is not desirable for the children. 4. Teachers themselves should develop an eating manners by showing an example. 5. Cooperation with the institutes concerned is required for the education of nutrition.
