한국어 상 부사의 쌍대성(duality)에 관한 연구 : '이미'와 '아직'을 중심으로

This study is to explore the concept of duality in Generalized Quantifier Theory and apply it to some aspectual adverbs in Korean. Specifically, we argue that a dual relation holds between imi 'already' and acik 'still' in Korean. We attempt to show how the aspectual features of these adverbs are related to those of verbs. Imi is a perfective aspectual adverb, whereas acik is an imperfective one. Adopting Lo¨bner's Phase Quantification Theory, we demonstrate that imi is an Existential Quantifier and acik a Universal Quantifier. These adverbs are duals of each other like some and every in English. (1) A = Yeng hi-nun ku chayk-ul imi sa-ess-ni? Yenghi-Nom that book-Acc already buy-PAST-Intro B = ani, acik an-sa-ess-e No, still not-buy-PAST-DEC However, there are other aspectual adverbs that are similar or related to imi and acik in meaning. For those, we propose further dual pairs, as done by Lo¨bner for German adverbials. They are pelsse 'already'/acikun 'still-ContrTOP' and tutie 'finally'/acikto 'still-even'. Those dual pairs have the same truth-conditions as imi and acik but additionally reflect speaker's attitude in different contexts. In sum, we propose three dual pairs-imi/acik, pelsse/acik-un, tutie/acik-to.
HTA(Hierarchical Task Analysys)기법을 활용한 시각장애인 버스승차지원시스템 체험평가체계 개발

지금까지 교통분야 R&D 연구는 실제 기술 수요자의 요구사항을 반영하는데 한계를 보였다. 이는 연구개발이 종료되는 시점에서 성능평가 위주의 테스트베드를 운영하여, 연구개발품의 기술적 완성도와 사용성을 테스트하는데 주안점을 두었기 때문이다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 연구개발 단계에서 실제 기술수요자의 요구사항을 파악하여 제품에 반영이 가능하도록하는 이용자 체험평가의 수행이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 ‘교통약자 보행지원시스템 개발’R&D과제의 연구개발품인 ‘시각장애인 버스승차지원시스템’기술을 대상으로 Hierarchical Task Analysys기법을 적용하여 이용자의 관점에서 서비스 이용을 위한 TASK를 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 실제 기술수요자인 시각장애인이 연구개발품을 체험하도록 하여 각 TASK별 요구사항 및 개선사항을 도출하였다. 기술 수요자의 요구사항 및 실험내용을 기반으로 시각, 청각, 촉각, 물리적, 인지적 부문의 평가요인을 도출하였으며 각 Sub-TASK별 평가문항을 구성하여 연구개발 기관에서 체험평가를 수행할 수 있도록 체험평가 체크리스트(안)을 개발하였다.
수소버스 전복 안전기준 도입에 따른 통계적 인명가치 및 비용편익효과 연구

This study is a study to estimate the VSL (Value of a Statistical Life) and CBA (Cost-benefit analysis) of the rollover safety standard for hydrogen buses, VSL is an economic value concept used to quantify the benefits of avoiding death. CBA shows the effect of cost-benefit, and if B/C is greater than 1, there is a social effect. In order to estimate the VSL and CBA, the hydrogen bus introduction scenario was assumed to be optimistic (20,000 vehicles in 2030), neutral (15,000 vehicles in 2030), and pessimistic (10,000 vehicles in 2030), and the effect of reducing human casualties was estimated. As a result, except for the pessimistic market situation of introducing hydrogen buses (10,000 vehicles in 2030) and the VSL reduction ratio of 10%, all policies were judged to have high cost-benefit effects. These results indicate that the introduction of the rollover safety standard for hydrogen buses is a socially effective policy.
따라읽기 교육 시스템 개발용 끊어읽기 경계 주석 코퍼스 구축에 관한 예비 연구

This paper presents a pilot study on constructing a chunk boundary-annotated English corpus to develop a computer-assisted echo reading education system for beginner English learners. Echo reading is an effective reading strategy in which the teacher reads a chunk of text aloud and students echo back the reading of the chunk. To construct the corpus, it is assumed that the research participants, adult English speakers, teach English to beginner learners of English using the echo reading strategy. In the corpus, a chunk has 2~4 words (3~5 syllables) on average and sentence length and pause number are highly correlated. When they teach echo reading to beginner learners of English, the adult speakers of English can choose their strategies from three options: changing the number of chunks, the chunk length, or both, if the length of a sentence changes. The participants of the experiment showed individual differences in chunking for echo reading education by selecting different strategies. We need to consider the most appropriate chunking strategies in building a chunk boundary-annotated corpus for echo reading education for beginner English learners. 69.05% of the chunking boundaries in the small corpus are identical to the syntactic phrase boundaries. Only 59.88% of the semantic chunk boundaries are identical to the chunking boundaries. In addition, English speakers pause after a comma, but they do not pause when it is used for word or phrase listing. They also put a chunk boundary after a clause. On the other hand, there tend to be no chunk boundaries after function words. If a subject’s syllables are less than 4 syllables, English speakers do not pause after the subject. The chunk boundary-annotated corpus we develop should reflect these chunking patterns. The chunk-annotated corpus for a computer-assisted echo-reading system will be useful in various research fields such as English education, linguistics, Spoken Language Processing, and Natural Language Processing. .
