        해조류 메탄올 추출물의 Prolyl Endopeptidase, Tyrosinase 저해 및 항응고 활성 스크리닝

        About forty sea weeds were screened for their inhibitory effects against prolyl endopeptidase, tyrosinase and thrombus coagulation. Out of them, methanolic extract of Ecklonia cava, Sargassum patens, Sargassum hemiphyllum, Sargassum thunbergii, Sargassum singgildianum, Hizikia fusiformis, and Ishige okamurae inhibited more than 90% of prolyl endopeptidase activity at 40 ppm. Sargassum siliquastrum and Ecklonia cava exhibited 51% and 76% of inhibitory activity against tyrosinase at 40 ppm, respectively. In APTT assay system, Sargassum singgildianum, Pterocladia capilacea and Hizikia fusiformis delayed coagulation of thrombus about two times (210, 211, and 198% over control at ca 367 ppm, respectively) and in TT assay, Lomentaria catenata, Laurencia okamurae, and Hizikia fusiformis did most effectively (216,197, and 251% at ca 367 ppm, respectively).

      • 태양열 발전에 대한 IEA의 활동 및 전망

        1) 국제에너지위원회 IEA 산하 SolarPACES(Solar Thermal Power and Chemistry Energy System)는 태양열발전 및 화학 관련한 기술 개발 및 보급을 목표로 한국을 포함하여 현재 20개국이 활동 중이다. 2011년 우리나라는 집행위원회뿐만 아니라 6개 기술 분야 중에 태양열발전, 태양열화학, 태양열집광기술 및 적용 3개 분야에 참여하고 있다. 2) 2011년 기준으로 약 1.2GW 용량의 태양열 발전소가 전 세계에 설치되었고, 스페인 582MW, 미국 507MW로 대부분을 차지한다. 현재 미국 8GW, 스페인 4.46GW, 중국 2.5GW를 포함하여 전체 약 17GW 용량 발전소들이 건설 또는 계획 중에 있다. 3) 국제에너지위원회 IEA는 태양열 발전소는 태양광에 비해 약 1/3정도의 발전 용량을 갖겠지만, 열저장을 이용한 높은 가동시간을 바탕으로 2050년에는 태양광이나 바이오매스와 비슷한 수준으로 전기를 공급하여 전 세계 전기의 11.3% 정도에 이를 것으로 예측하고 있다. Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) is a renewable energy to generate electricity by using solar thermal energy as a heat source to drive turbines or engines for thermodynamic cycles. This paper introduces ongoing projects in SolarPACES(Solar Power and Chemical Energy systems) under the REWP(Renewable Energy Working Party) in the IEA(International Energy Agency). Then, the current status of international CSP markets and domestic activities is summarized. Finally, the CSP outlook by IEA and the key technological challenges to be overcome for its realization are presented.

        프레이리(Freire) 교육론이 중등학교 가정과교육에 주는 시사점 및 실천방안

        The purpose of this study was to explore the implications of Freire's education theory for secondary school Home Economics Education (HEedu). We conducted a review of books written by Freire and classified the characteristics of his education theory into 9 categories. Based on these categories, we concretely explored the forms in which Freire's education theory could be applied in this area of education through interviews with Home Economics (HE) teachers. We also searched for activities that can be carried out by HEedu agents and the support that can be given by social institutions. The implications of Freire's education theory for HEedu are that education should exhibit love and respect for human beings, be ethically and democratically responsible, enable people to dream as well as hope, support consciousness and praxis by reflection, stimulate epistemological curiosity in learners' lives and experiences, promote subjectivity, autonomy and self-reliance, engage in dialogue to bring about a change in relationships rather than viewing dialogue as a skill, and stimulate political engagement. Freire's education theory therefore has multiple implications for the purpose, mission, and content of education, teaching methods and perspectives, and directions regarding the role of HE teachers. The results are expected to provide practical assistance in developing a persuasive curriculum for HEedu that can help learners restore subjectivity and love for human beings and their society by expanding the horizons of HEedu philosophy from the critical science of Habermas to Freire's education theory.

        양양군과 포항 해역에 시설한 인공어초에서 진행된 해조천이와 군집에 관한 연구

        이 연구는 2016년 9월에 강원도 양양군 남애리, 경상북도 포항시 구룡포읍 석병2리에 설치한 인공어초를 대상으로 해조류 군집 변화를 관찰하기 위하여 연구를 수행하였다. 현장조사는 2017년 2월, 5월, 8월, 11월에 계절별 1회씩 SCUBA Diving으로 수행하였으며, 정량조사와 정성조사를 병행하였다. 본 연구에서 녹조류 11종, 갈조류 15종, 홍조류 68종을 포함하여 총 94종이 채집되었으며, 양양에서 66종(녹조류 8종, 갈조류 9종, 홍조류 49종), 포항에서 65종(녹조류 7종, 갈조류 9종, 홍조류 49종)이 채집 및 동정되었다. 중요도를 기반으로 판단한 우점종의 경우, 양양은 다시마(Saccharina japonica)가 우점종, 구멍갈파래(Ulva australis)가 준우점종이었으며 포항은 불레기말(Colpomenia sinuosa), 우뭇가사리(Gelidium elegans) 순으로 우점하였다. 두 해역 모두 어초 설치 초기에 각각 파래류, 불레기말이 착생한 후, 다시마, 감태, 우뭇가사리 등 다년생 해조가 생육하며 우점하여 기존의 천이 패턴과 유사하였다. 해조상 변화를 통해 군집관계를 명확히 하기 위해서는 추후 지속적인 모니터링을 통해 장기적인 변화를 관찰하여 해조군락이 안정되기까지의 천이 과정에 관한 모니터링이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. This study was carried out to observe the changes of seaweed community in artificial reefs installed in September, 2016 in Namae-ri, Yangyang-gun, and Seokbyeong-ri, Pohangsi, Korea. Field surveys were conducted by SCUBA diving once a season in February, May, August, and November of 2017, and quantitative survey and qualitative survey were carried out in parallel. In this study, a total of 94 species, including 11 green algae, 15 brown algae and 68 red algae were appeared. 66 species (8 green algae, 9 brown algae, 49 red algae) and 65 species (7 green algae, 9 brown algae, 49 red algae) were collected and identified in Yangyang and Pohang. In dominant species, Yangyang was dominant species of Saccharina japonica and subdominant species of Ulva australis. Pohang dominated in order of Colpomenia sinuosa and Gelidium elegans. In both coastal areas, Ulva spp., Colpomenia sinuosa were grown at the early stage of reforestation, and perennial seaweeds such as Saccharina japonica, Ecklonia cava and Gelidium elegans were grown. In order to clarify the clustering relation through flora change, it is necessary to monitor the transition process until the seaweed community is stabilized by observing the long-term change through continuous monitoring.

        측면 연마 광섬유를 이용한 용액의 광학 특성 측정

        In this paper, a measurement method to obtain the optical properties of a liquid base on a side-polished single mode fiber was proposed and demonstrated. The device showed periodic resonance coupling against wavelengths. The refractive index and dispersion characteristics of a liquid were calculated by use of the spacings of periodic resonance wavelengths of the device. The thermo-optic coefficient of the liquid was obtained by monitering the shift of resonance wavelengths of the devices with change of environmental temperature.

        생협복지의 의미와 실천

        이 연구는 생협복지를 실천하는 구체적인 사례를 분석하면서, 국가와 시장이 아닌 사회적 경제 조직이 사회서비스를 제공할 수 있는 가능성과 그 효용성을 논의하였다. 생협복지는 지역의 다양한 조직과 연계하고 주민들의 적극적인 참여를 바탕으로 다양한 생활 서비스를 제공함으로써 공적 영역과 시장 영역의 복지제도가 놓치고 있는 일상의 사회적 돌봄을 실천하는 것을 의미한다. 이 연구는 단일 사례로서 서울 마포의 울림두레생협 복지활동을 분석대상으로 하였다. 사례는 지역 속에서 주민과 함께 성장하고 다양한 돌봄 사업을 하는 지역생협으로서의 특성을 가장 잘 보여주었다. 사례분석 결과 생협의 복지활동에는 세 가지 특징이 있었다. 첫째, 주민참여와 자치활동으로 복지 민주주의의 가능성이 높아졌다, 울림두레생협은 조합원들의 참 여와 민주적 의사결정을 최고의 가치로 여기고 있었고, 이를 실현하기 위한 다양한 제도적 장치를 가지고 있었다. 둘째, 상호부조와 연대를 통해 사회적 돌봄의 관계망 을 넓혀가고 있었다. 이로써 공공복지나 시장복지에서 해결하기 어려운 돌봄 사각지대를 해소하고 있었다. 셋째, 다양한 지역복지 커뮤니티가 구성되고, 이들의 활동으로 지역사회가 변화하고 있었다. 일공동체를 통해 지역 생산과 소비가 선순환하는 구조를 만들고, 지역주민이 함께하는 사업체와의 연대를 통해 사회적 경제를 실현하고 있었다. 그러나 생협복지의 확산과 지속에는 여전히 많은 문제가 있었다. 이에 대해 이 연구에서는 세 가지 발전전략을 제시하였다. 첫째, 맞춤화 전략으로써 조합원 및 지역주민의 다양한 특성을 반영하여 복지를 증진할 수 있도록 생애주기별 맞춤형 복지 실천을 제안하였다. 둘째, 전문화 전략으로써 조합원과 생협조직을 연결할 수 있는 조합원 활동가를 양성할 것과, 생협의 전문적 활동을 보완해줄 수 있는 조합원 전문 가를 양성할 것을 제안하였다. 셋째, 보다 폭넓은 지역사회복지실현을 위해 지역사회 전반에 존재하는 다양한 자원을 동원하고 연대하는 전략을 제안하였다. This study discussed a possibility that social service could be provided by social enterprise, not nation nor market, and its effectiveness, with analyzing a specific case of consumer cooperative welfare practice. Consumer cooperative welfare means the practice of everyday social care which a welfare system in public realm and market realm fails to notice, by providing various living services on the basis of connection with various organizations and residents' active participation. This study analyzed the welfare activities of WoollimDure Consumer Cooperative in Mapo, Seoul, as a single case. The case most clearly showed the characteristics of regional consumer cooperative that grew with residents inside the region and carried out various care projects. According to the results of case analysis, there were 3 characteristics in the welfare activities of consumer cooperative. First, a possibility of welfare democracy increased owing to residents' participation and self-help activities. WoollimDure Consumer Cooperative regarded members' participation and democratic decision-making as the highest value, and had various institutional arrangements so as to realize that. Second, social care networks were being expanded through mutual aid and solidarity. This removed the blind spot of care, with which the problem was difficult to solve in public welfare and market welfare. Third, various regional welfare communities were formed. And owing to their activities, regional communities were changing. Through work community, a virtuous circle of regional production and consumption was formed. And through solidarity with business that local residents join, social economy was being realized. However, there are still many problems spreading and sustaining consumer cooperative welfare. This study presents 3 development strategies against those. First, the practice of customized welfare according to life cycle was suggested so that welfare could be promoted by reflecting members and residents' various characteristics, as individualization strategy. Second, we suggested training an active member who can connect member to consumer cooperative organization, and training a specialist member who can complement the specialized activities of consumer cooperative, as specialization strategy. Third, we suggested a strategy of solidarity and mobilization of various resources that exist in the community at large in order to realize wider range of community welfare.

        응집된 Y<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>:Eu Red 형광체의 나노분산 및 나노졸의 형광특성

        Nanosized and aggregated $Y_2O_3:Eu$ Red phosphors were prepared by template method from metal salt impregnated into crystalline cellulose. The particle size and photoluminescent property of $Y_2O_3:Eu$ red phosphors were controlled by variation of the calcination temperature and time. Dispersed nanosol was also obtained from the aggregated $Y_2O_3:Eu$ Red phosphor under bead mill wet process. The dispersion property of the $Y_2O_3:Eu$ nanosol was optimized by controlling the bead size, bead content ratio and milling time. The median particle size ($D_{50}$) of $Y_2O_3:Eu$ nanosol was found to be around 100 nm, and to be below 90 nm after centrifuging. In spite of the low photoluminescent properties of $Y_2O_3:Eu$ nanosol, it was observed that the photoluminescent property recovered after re-calcination. The dispersion and photoluminescent properties of $Y_2O_3:Eu$ nanosol were investigated using a particle size analyzer, FE-SEM, and a fluorescence spectrometer.

        군용차량 방탄재 최적화에 관한 연구

        During the land operations, the enemy's gunnery is the primary threat. For the military vehicle, the bulletproof effect is the one of the important issues regarding the safety of soldiers on duty. Recently, the advanced military vehicles have planned to install armor plates. However, due to the budget problem, it is difficult to equip the protection systems. Hence, the optimum approach to increase bulletproof capability is essential. In this paper, the optimum thickness and component of the armor of military vehicles were evaluated by using finite element analysis for bullet impact effects. To achieve this aim, 7.62mm NATO bullet, 1.6mm steel and Kevlar-29 composite have been modeled and the simulations were conducted with various thickness cases by using MSC Nastran sol 700. Consequently, it was revealed that Kevlar-29 45 Layer is appropriate thickness for 7.62 bulletproof. Furthermore, Kevlar-29 in front of steel was effective by comparison with the back of steel for bulletproof.
