동작에 따른 피부변화 분석을 통한 동작센서 부착의 최적위치 탐색: 조정 동작을 중심으로

하이테크놀로지를 여러 가지 다른 영역과 융합하고자 하는 노력이 다양한 연구 분야에서 시도되고 있으며, 스포츠웨어를 개발함에 있어 운동선수의 운동능력을 향상시키기 위한 분야에 이러한 첨단 기술들이 도입되고 있다. 본 연구는 스포츠 훈련에 도움이 되는 동작 센싱 스마트 스포츠웨어를 개발하기 위한 기초 연구로서, 조정 동작 시 관절의 움직임을 측정할 수 있는 동작 센서를 부착하기 위한 인체상의 최적 위치를 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 일관된 동작을 반복적으로 수행할때 관절의 변화가 큰 조정을 대상 스포츠로 선정하였으며, 조정 선수의 대표 체급인 중량급과 경량급의 피험자를 선정하여 동작에 따른 피부의 변화율을 측정하여 체급별 차이를 분석하였다. 먼저, 3차원 모션캡처 시스템을 이용하여 조정 동작 시 등, 팔꿈치, 엉덩이, 무릎 부위의 피부 변화를 촬영하고, 각 마커 간 거리의 변화율을 분석함으로써 체급에 따른 차이를 보이지 않으면서 동작에 따라 피부의 변화가 큰 부분을 인체 상에 도시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 동작 센싱용 스마트 스포츠웨어를 위한 센서 부착의 가이드라인을 제시하였다. Lots of interdisciplinary studies for fusion of high technologes and the other areas of research had been tried in these days. In sports training area, high technologies like a vital sign sensor or an accelerometer were adopted as training tools to improve the performance of the sports players. The purpose of this study is finding the proper locations on the human body for attaching the motion sensors in order to develop a smart sportswear which could be helpful in training players. The rowing was selected as a subject sport as lots of movements of the joint on human body could be seen in rowing motions. The players of rowing could be devided into two weight divisions, the lightweight and the heavyweight. In this study, the change rates of distance between markers on human skin as the players moved were took on the back, the elbow, the hip and the knee area on human body by 3D motion capturing system. The distances between markers and the differences between the lightweight and heavyweight were analyzed. Finally, this study provided the guide lines for designing a motion sensing smart sportswear.
8주간의 체중을 이용한 저항운동 시 전신진동 유,무에 따른 노인 여성하지의 발바닥쪽굽힘근의 생체역학적 특성 변화

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of resistance training with and without whole-body vibration(WBV) on the biomechanical properties of the plantarflexor in the elderly women (>60 yrs., n=35). Thirty-five volunteers were randomly assigned to a resistance training with WBV group (RVT, n=14), a resistance training without WBV (RT, n=11), and a non-training control group (CON, n=10). The RVT and the RT groups participated in the training sessions three times a week for 8 weeks, followed by a 4-week detraining period. The CON group was instructed to refrain from any type of resistance training. To assess strength and activation of the plantarflexor muscles, maximum isometric ankle plantarflexion torque and muscle activation of the triceps surae muscles were measured using dynamometry, twitch interpolation technique and electromyography at four different ankle joint angles. Also, the lower extremity function was assessed by vertical jumping. The measurements were performed prior to, 2 and 8 weeks after the training and after a 4-week detraining period. Following the 8-week training sessions, an increase in the isometric plantarflexion strength was found to be greater for the RVT compared with the RT group (p<.05). Muscle inhibition was significantly decreased after training than before training only for the RVT (p<.05). Following the detraining period, a decrease in isometric plantarflexors strength and a increases in muscle inhibition were significantly less in the RVT compared with the RT group. In conclusion, the exercise with WBV is a feasible training modality for the elderly and seems to have a boosting effect when used with conventional resistance training.
듣기 전 활동이 예비 대학생들의 영어 듣기 이해와 정의적 요인에 미치는 영향

The study investigates the effects of different types of pre-listening activities on listening comprehension and the affective factors of pre-university students in Korea. A total of 120 pre-university students were divided into two experimental groups and a control group. The experimental groups worked on the pre-listening activities--the topic discussion activity as a complement to the top-down processing and the vocabulary instruction activity as a complement to the bottom-up processing. The control group did not do any pre-listening activities. The students were also divided into two different proficiency-level groups, i.e., a high-proficiency and a low-proficiency level, to examine the correlation between pre-listening activity types and listening proficiency. The results of the study proved that use of pre-listening activities had a significant positive effect on learners' listening comprehension. It suggests that activating learners' schema helps the learners to predict the content and supplement their lack of prior knowledge. In addition, learners showed positive responses to the listening classes using pre-listening activities, i.e., most of the learners participated in the pre-listening activities responded that the pre-listening activities boost their motivation and interests to listening comprehension.
이산화 티타늄 위에서의 원자층 증착법 백금의 성장 특성

Atomic layer deposition (ALD) is essential for the fabrication of nanoscale electronic devices because it has excellent conformality, atomic scale thickness control, and large area uniformity. Metal thin films are one of the important material components for electronic devices as a conductor. As the size of electronic devices shrinks, the thickness of metal thin films is decreased down to few nanometers, and the metal films become non-continuous due to inherent island growth of metal below a critical thickness. So, fabrication of continuous metal thin films by ALD is fundamentally and practically important. Since ALD films are grown through self-saturated reactions between precursors on surface, initial growth characteristics significantly depend on the surface properties and the selection of precursors. In this work, we investigated ALD Pt on TiO₂ substrate by using trimethyl-methyl-cyclopentadienyl-Platinum (MeCpPtMe₃) precursor and O₃ reactant. By using O₃ instead of O2, initial nucleation rate of ALD Pt was increased on TiO₂ surface, resulting in formation of continuous thin Pt films. Morphologies of ALD Pt on TiO2 were characterized by using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS). Crystallinity of ALD Pt on TiO₂ correlated with its growth characteristics was analyzed by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD).
보행과 한발,두발 수직점프 수행 시 내측비복근 근-건 복합체와 근섬유다발의 길이 변화 패턴의 차이

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate difference in fascicle behavior of the medial gastrocnemius during the locomotion with varying intensities, such as gait and one-legged and two-legged vertical jumping. Methods: Six subjects (3 males and 3 females; age: 27.2±1.6 yrs., body mass: 62.8±9.8 kg, height: 169.6±8.5 cm) performed normal gait (G) at preferred speed and maximum vertical jumping with one (OJ) and two (TJ) legs. While subjects were performing the given tasks, the hip, knee and ankle joint motion and ground reaction force was monitored using a 8-infrared camera motion analysis system with two forceplates. Simultaneously, electromyography of the triceps surae muscles, and the fascicle length of the medial gastrocnemius were recorded using a real-time ultrasound imaging machine. Results: Comparing to gait, the kinematic and kinetic parameters of TJ and OJ were found to be significantly different. Along with those parameters, change in the medial gastrocnemius (MG) muscle-tendon complex (MTC) length (50.57±6.20 mm for TJ and 44.14±5.39 mm for OJ) and changes in the fascicle length of the MG (18.97±3.58 mm for TJ and 20.31±4.59 mm for OJ) were observed. Although the total excursion of the MTC and the MG fascicle length during the two types of jump were not significantly different, however the pattern of length changes were found to be different. For TJ, the fascicle length maintained isometric longer during the propulsive phase than OJ. Conclusion: One-legged and two-legged vertical jumping use different muscle-tendon interaction strategies.

종합비타민 주사제에 의한 아나필락시스 반응 4예를 경험하였고, 피부반응 검사로 과민반응을 확인하였다. 또한 종합비타민제에 대한 유해반응이 드물지 않게 발생하므로 적절한 적응증 없이 불필요하게 비타민제재를 투여하는 것은 피하도록 하여야겠다. Parenteral vitamin supplements are frequently used in normal subjects and patients with vitamin deficiencies. The incidence rate of an allergic reaction to a multivitamin is less than 0.1%. We recently experienced four young patients who showed severe immediate allergic reactions after administration of an intravenous multivitamin. A 21-year-old male who was admitted for diarrhea suddenly felt chest tightness, shortness of breath, high fever, and generalized pruritus with facial flushing within a few minutes after beginning a dextrose fluid drip mixed with a multivitamin solution. The patient`s symptoms subsided in 20 minutes after fluid administration stopped. The patient showed positive response to intradermal tests using a multivitamin, vitamin B-complex, and thiamine solution. We also observed similar responses to a multivitamin in three other young patients, and all of them showed positive reactions on a skin test using a multivitamin solution. Including the above-described patients, we have experienced 17 cases of potential multivitamin-induced hypersensitivity reactions over the past year. Based on our experience, multivitamin-related allergic reactions are not rare. Therefore, more attention to vitamins as a cause of severe allergic adverse reaction is required. Chronic urticaria is a common disabling skin condition. Neoplasm has been case-reported as a comorbid disease with urticaria, although there is no reliable evidence suggesting a strong association between these two conditions. We recently experienced a case of chronic urticaria revealing double primary cancers. A 47-year-old woman was referred to our hospital for chronic generalized urticaria which had started 3 months earlier. She was treated with a combination of oral methylprednisolone, hydroxyzine, mequitazine, fexofenadine, ketotifen, ranitidine, and pranlukast. Nevertheless, her skin lesion did not completely subside. She had a family history of early-onset adenocarcinomas of the stomach and the colon. On gastroscopy and colonoscopy, she was diagnosed with signet ring cell type adenocarcinoma and moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma, respectively. Her urticaria disappeared immediately after radical resection of double primary malignancies, and she became free of urticaria without any medications. Considering the time sequence, malignancies were highly suspicious as a cause of her urticaria. (Korean J Asthma Allergy Clin Immunol 2009;29:208-211)
