        동의보감(東醫寶鑑) 중(中) 길경(桔梗)이 주약(主藥)으로 배오(配伍)된 방제(方劑)의 활용(活用)에 대한 고찰(考察)

        This report describes 90 prescriptions related to the use of Platycodi Radix main blended from Dongeuibogam. The following conclusions were reached through investigations on the prescriptions that use Platycodi Radix as a key component. Prescriptions that Platycodi Radix was taken as a monarch drug are utilized for 30 therapeutic purposes, for example, cough disease, throat disease, abscess and pus, and wind disease. In particular, 12.1% of prescriptions appear in the chapter of cough, and 9.9% of those appear in the chapter of throat, and each 8.8% of those appear in the chapter of abscess and of wind disease. Prescriptions that utilize Platycodi Radix as the main ingredient are used in the treatment of cough disease, throat disease and abscess, and they are also used for treating 74 different types of disease. The prescriptions are compounded with Platycodi Radix as a monarch drug are related to exogenous agents such as wind-cold pathogen, wind-heat pathogen, epidemic diseases, and endogenous agents such as seven emotions, and non-endo-exopathogenic factors like excessive labor, deficiency of Qi and blood, phlegm-mass, phlegm-fire, ect. The dosage of Platycodi Radix is 2pun(about 0.75g) to 1nyang(about 37.5g), however 1don (about 3.75g) has been taken the most for clinical application. We can find out that according to herbs or prescriptions blended with it self, Platycodi Radix makes a variety of functions to penetrate lung stagnancy and remove phlegm, relieve throat pain and get rid of pus, and regulate Qi flow. And Gamgiltang is the most useful base prescription which used the Platycodi Radix as the main component.

        A high-speed railway system represents a typical example of large-scale multi-disciplinary system, consisting of subsystems such as rolling-stock, electrical hardware, electronics, control, information, communication, civil technology etc. The system design and acquisition data of the large-scale system must be the subject under strict configuration control and management. Systems engineering technology development project for Korea next generation High-speed Electric Multiple Unit (HEMU) system in progress is a national large system development project that is not only a large-size and complex but also multi-disciplinary in nature. Therefore, all stakeholders must understand and share the functional and performance requirements of HEMU throughout its life-cycle phases. Also in the test and evaluation phase, all systems requirements must be verified. In 2011, the prototype train manufacturing will be completed. It will do test run on the commercial line and all systems requirements are verified until 2012. For the system verification, the test and evaluation process have to be established before the test trial run. Using a systems engineering tool, the system design database(SDD) with requirements traceability and development process management in the course of the development have to be established. This paper represents the test and evaluation process development based on the SEMP(Systems Engineering Management Plan) developed in the design stage. The test and evaluation process is refined and updated in comparison to the design stage one. The test and evaluation process consists of procedure, test and evaluation method and schedule. So through this process, it is defined that each systems requirements is verified on which test and about what time.

        마하젠더 간섭계로 구성된 실리카 평판 광 도파회로 트라이플렉서의 설계 및 분석

        실리카 평판 광집적회로 마하젠더 간섭 구조를 이용한 트라이플렉서를 제안하고, 시뮬레이션을 통해 그 특성을 분석하였다. 1310 nm 대역과 $1480{\sim}1560nm$ 대역을 분리하기 위하여 마하젠더 암의 길이 차는 1310 nm 파장의 정수배 더하기 반 파장으로 하고, 방향성 결합기의 균형도는 $1480{\sim}1560nm$ 대역에서 적정화하였다. 이와 같은 마하젠더 간섭 구조를 한 단 더 사용함으로써, 매우 우수한 채널 누화 특성을 얻을 수 있었다. 1490 nm 대역과 1550 nm 대역을 추가적으로 분리하기 위하여 마하젠더 간섭구조를 추가로 두 단 더 사용하였다. 삼차원 BPM과 전송행렬방법을 통하여 각 채널들 사이의 낮은 누화 특성을 확인하였고, 제작 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 공정오차에 둔감한 특성을 보임을 확인하였다. A triplexer based on a silica planar lightwave circuit Mach-Zehnder nterferometer(MZI) is proposed and its characteristics are analyzed through simulations. To separate 1310 nm band and $1480{\sim}1560nm$ band properly, the path length difference of an MZI is set to be the multiple and half of the wavelength 1310 nm and the balance of the directional coupler is optimized in the $1480{\sim}1560nm$ band. The same MZI is additionally cascaded to provide good crosstalk characteristics. The 1490 nm band and 1550 nm band are further separated using additional two stage MZI's. A three-dimensional BPM and transfer matrix method analysis predicts the low crosstalk characteristics and the fabrication-error-tolerance of the proposed triplexer.

        체내 통신을 이용한 신경 보철용 원격 통신 시스템

        Intra-body communication' is a wireless communication technology that uses a body as a transmission medium for electrical signals. Generally, an 'earth ground' is used to create an electric field for operating the system; however this operating method could not apply to telemetry for implanted neural prosthetic devices. So this paper suggests a newly designed intra-body communication for neural prosthetic devices. A floating system which has a couple of electrodes with body was studied to remove an influence of the 'earth ground'. We found that 10MHz is the most suitable carrier frequency in skin experiments and over 3MHz in subcutaneous experiments. The system has been applied to a current stimulator circuit for cochlear implant that uses pulse width modulation (PWM) method at 480kbps rate successfully. 체내 통신은 인체를 통신 매체로 하여 신호를 전송하는 무선 통신 방식이다. 체내 통신 방식은 체내와 송수신 시스템 그리고 외부 접지를 통한 하나의 전류 패스를 형성함으로써 이루어지는데, 인공 와우와 같은 신경 보철 장치의 경우 피하에 이식되어 있기 때문에 외부 접지를 사용하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 접지의 영향을 받지 않는 체내 통신을 제안하여 신경 보철 장치를 위한 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 이식된 보철 장치의 체내에 위치한 전극으로의 신호 전송이 가능하도록 설계되었다. 효과적인 통신을 위하여 실험동물의 피부 위 실험 및 피하 실험을 통해 신호 전송 특성을 조사하였으며, 피부 위 실험의 경우 약 10MHz, 피하 실험의 경우 약 3MHz 이상의 주파수 대역에서 최대 전송 이득을 가지는 것을 확인하였다. 본 시스템은 데이터 전송률 480kbps를 갖는 pulse width modulation (PWM) 방식을 사용한 인공 와우용 내부 전류 자극기에 적용하여 그 성능을 입증하였다.

        졸 겔 법을 이용한 Cao-SiO<sub>2</sub>계 겔의 합성 및 구조분석

        It has been proposed that the Cao-$SiO_2$ binary system can be good basic composition of bioactive glasses and glass-ceramics. In the present study, various kinds of Cao-$SiO_2$ gels were prepared by sol-gel method in order to control the microstructure which are related to their dissolution rate, induction period of apatite formation in body environment. Characterization of the gels were done by wet chemical analysis, SEM observation, FT-IR spectroscopy and XRD. The gelation time decreased with CaO content. However, the volume of all the dried gel decreased to 50% of the wet gels irrespective of increasement of CaO content. All the Cao-$SiO_2$ gels were amorphous and contained a large amount of silanol groups on their surfaces after heat treatment up to $800^{\circ}C$. The interconnected structure of the gel changed to agglomerated spherical powders when Ca content exceed to 20 mol%. Most of the Cao-$SiO_2$ gel showed amorphous when heat-treated up to $900^{\circ}C$. However, quartz and cristobalite was produced when heat-treated at $1000^{\circ}C$ and resultant microstructure of the gel contained microporous structure.

        Systems Engineering is the process that controls the technical system development effort with the goal of achieving an optimum balance of all system elements. FRACAS(Failure Reporting an d Corrective Action System) is one of RAMS(Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) tasks which is conducted from a manufacturing phase. FRACAS is to determine the basic cause of failure resulting from design or manufacture, and to provide a closed-loop method of implementing corrective action. This paper presents the FRACAS established for assessment of the reliability, the analysis and management of the failure data for Korean High Speed Train and application cases.

        The HEMU-400X(High-speed Electric Multiple Unit 400km/h eXperiment) project starts in 2007. It is required to control and balance the systems engineering activities throughout the project life cycle for a successful completion of the project. The Systems Engineering Management Plan(SEMP) is the primary, top level technical management document for the integration of all engineering activities within the context of, and as an expansion of, the project plan. A SEMP should be prepared for each project and regularly updated as development progresses. This paper proposes the systems engineering management plan for the HEMU-400X project.

        해방 이후 한의학의 현대화 논쟁 - 1950년대와 1990년대 이후의 논의를 바탕으로 -

        Objectives : The inclusion of Korean Medicine in the national health care system led to the need of a serious discussion on its modernization. This paper looked at how these discussions were progressed. Especially, a difference in the meaning of 'science' in the 1950s and the 1990s was observed. Methods : Articles related to the medical dispute between Korean and Western Medicine in "EE LIM", especially the ones from the 1950s, were selected, classified and analyzed. Research papers on Evidence-Based Medicine were also analyzed. Evidence-Based Medicine was a new medical research methodology in the 1990s. Articles on Evidence-Based Medicine were searched and selected from journal databases: DBpia, KISS, RISS, and OASIS. Results : The problem of establishment of modernity of Korean Medicine in the recent times was addressed in the context of scientification and systematization. Accordingly, the academic societies of Korean Medicine aimed for scientification. But efforts to secure the identity of Korean Medicine opposed to western science were also made. Meanwhile, Evidence-Based Medicine established in 1992 presented a different concept of science. This led to a new means of acknowledgement of Korean Medicine in the modern society. Conclusions : The modernization process of Korean Medicine up to now was a course of scientification. But as this process did not fully reflect its characteristics, the modernization of Korean Medicine still remains a pending question. A modern study methodology that fully reflects the identity of Korean Medicine needs to be established.

        LNG 저장탱크의 해석적 지진취약도함수 개발

        천연가스 생산기지, 특히 LNG 저장탱크는 지진에 의한 손상을 입을 경우 사회경제적 피해가 막대하기 때문에 탱크의 내진 성능을 사전에 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 내진설계가 철저하게 반영된 이유로 국내외를 통틀어 LNG 저장탱크가 지진피해를 입은 경우가 거의 없으나, 설계지진하중보다 큰 하중에 대한 탱크의 거동을 예측할 수 있는 기술은 여전히 필요하다. 지진취약도 함수는 구조물의 내진성능을 표현하는 가장 합리적이고 보편적인 방법 중의 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 국내에서 운영 중인 LNG 저장탱크에 대한 지진취약도함수를 개발하였다. 저장탱크의 구조해석에 가장 많이 사용되는 튜닝포크모델을 사용하고 50개의 실측지진파를 이용하여 시간이력해석을 수행하였다. 미국의 지진피해예측 프로그램인 HAZUS에서 정의한 가스저장탱크의 한계상태를 이용하여 구조해석에 의한 해석적 취약도함수를 개발하였다. 합리적인 취약도함수를 도출하기 위해 지진피해에 기반을 둔 기존의 저장탱크 취약도함수와 본 연구에서 도출한 해석적 취약도함수를 조합하여 국내 LNG 저장탱크의 지진취약도함수를 개발하였다. 최대지반가속도가 0.2 g인 지진이 발생하면 탱크 벽체에 경미한 균열이 발생할 확률이 1.0%로, 이보다 심각한 손상이 발생할 확률은 0.0% 나타났고, 설계지반가속도의 두 배 크기인 0.4 g의 지진이 발생하면 경미한 균열이 발생할 확률이 27.1%로, 다수의 균열이 발생할 확률이 10.0%로 나타나 탱크의 안전도가 상당히 높은 것으로 분석되었다. When a Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) receiving terminal is damaged by an earthquake, the socio-economic impact of it`s damage might be huge. Therefore, it is important to understand the seismic resistant capacity of such facilities, specially LNG storage tanks, in order for minimizing the earthquake hazard. Even though seismic design criteria are so strict that LNG storage tanks rarely suffer from earthquakes, we still need to know what to happen when a larger earthquake than a design earthquake occurs. A seismic fragility function is frequently used to express the seismic performance of structures. In this study, the seismic fragility functions of LNG storage tanks that are under operation in Korea are developed. A so-called `tuning-fork model` is used to evaluate the dynamic response of the LNG tank based on a series of time history analyses. The fragility functions are developed based on the performance limit states that are defined in HAZUS, a popular seismic performance evaluation program. Finally, the analytical fragility function is updated by combined by pre-defined empirical fragility functions. According to the fragility functions, the probabilities of having minor cracks and moderate cracks on the tank wall are 1.0% and 0.0%, respectively, for the design-level earthquake with the peak ground acceleration (PGA) 0.2 g. For PGA 0.4 g, the corresponding probabilities are 27.0% and 10.0%, respectively.

        ‘Seismic Assessment and Retrofitting Guidelines for the existing Structures(7 kinds - buildings, bridges, tunnels etc.)’ was published to ensure the seismic safety of existing structures by MLTM(Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs) and KISTEC(Korea Infrastructure Safety & Technology Corporation) in 2004. Since the guideline was published, the related criteria were established and revised. Also, the related researches and technology developments were performed actively. Because of the above reasons, the guideline are necessary to be complemented and revised. In this study, It will be briefly introduced about main revised contents of guidelines.
