인터넷, PC통신 등과 같은 전자적인 수단에 의한 상거래가 활성화되면서 효율적인 물류업계의 대응전략이 요구되고 있다. 전자상거래하에서는 상류부문 예를 들어 상품의 주문 및 결제가 전자적으로 이루어지기 때문에 고객들은 물류서비스에서도 신속한 배송을 원하게 되었다. 또한 물류활동은 상거래 관련 당사자간의 수많은 정보가 유통되게 되기 때문에 물류부문도 이러한 정보의 흐름에 신속한 접속이 요구된다. 본 연구는 전자상거래하에서 물류의 효율적 관리를 위하여 사이버 물류시스템의 구축을 모색하는 방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 사이버 물류시스템이 구축되면 물류관련 당사자간을 인터넷을 통한 연계성이 확보됨으로써 정보의 원활한 흐름이 가능해지며 이로 인해 전체 물류시스템의 효율화가 증진될 것이며, 이로 인해 국내외 전자상거래의 활성화에 크게 기여할 것으로 예상된다.

Global industries have established clusters to compete effectively with one another. The industries of port and energy logistics are no exception. The cluster tends to be established in order to take advantage of economic merits in the specific region. Korea has comparative advantage in an oil logistics hub against other countries in Northeast Asia in terms of geographical location, natural condition of port with deep waters, cluster of petrochemical industries near to the port. When considering such strong advantages of Korea for becoming an oil logistics hub in Northeast Asia, it is right time for Korea to take seriously consideration to pursue policies for oil logistics hub which has a significant effect on regional economy, port logistics, petrochemical industries ect. This paper attempts to review the possibilities to establish an oil logistics hub and port cluster while conducting SWOT analysis and suggest some strategies to undertake the project successfully. The advancement of information technology provides a wide range of options for the corporate to cope with new business environments. As with most other businesses, the utilization of the logistics information technology can be an instrument to enhance the competitiveness of the company. Therefore it is essential to analyze how companies utilize and verify the relationship between company business performance and the level of information technology utilization, which is the objective of this paper. The questionnaire was sent to 300 companies listed on the stock market at random. The author received 176 responses of which 142 were complete and valid. According to the analysis of questionnaires, the adoption level of information technologies was dependent on the perception of top managers on the importance of information technology in business competitiveness. Furthermore the level of relation between the information technology adoption and business performance was significant. Therefore businesses need to increase the utilization of information technologies, such as establishment of logistics information system, network with other business partners in order to business logistics performance.

Due to technological advances, the quantity of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) has increased dramatically during the last 20 years. Besides the large quantity, another issue of concern is that WEEE contains over 1000 different substances, many of which are toxic, such as lead, mercury and cadmium. Accordingly if disposed improperly, WEEE will result in serious environmental pollution. Additionally, WEEE has a high residual value. If recycled properly, some of the components can be used to replace raw materials and many valuable materials in WEEE, such as gold, platinum and cadmium have high economic value and could be recycled by proper environmentally sound technologies. In developed countries, people have paid much attention to recycling WEEE. Most countries have WEEE reverse logistics system, developed legislations and technologies to dispose of WEEE. In China, there is no systemized take-back or recycling network yet, and the illegal, poor quality WEEE disposal and recycling methods commonly practised have severly hazardous effects on both the environment and human health. In response to this, the Chinese government is continuously strengthening the legislative and institutional framework but the have not been effective. This paper makes a comparison of WEEE reverse logistics in developed countries and in China, and then finds out existing problems and challenges and gives solutions accordingly.
