청소년의 사이버범죄 피해요인에 관한 연구

The purposes of the study are the following; to analyze the preceding studies on definition and types of cybercrime, chatting and victimization, and factors of victimization from cybercrime, to find any differences of victimization from cybercrime according to demographic variables, and to reveal factors of juvenile victimization from cybercrime through chatting. This study hypothesizes that juvenile's exposure of victimization opportunity such as internet addiction, juvenile's cybercrime, and juvenile's delinquents, low self-image and legal consciousness will affect the risk of victimization in cyberspace. The survey was executed to middle and high school students in Korea from June 23th to July 24th in 2008. The total sample size for final analysis is 2,308 cases. This study deals with victimizations from 20 types of cybercrimes as follows; less serious cybercrimes are insult, threat, slander, defamation, sexual curse, distribution of photographs and moving pictures, sexual harassment, interference and more serious cybercrimes are persuasion of suicide, exposure of sexual action, demand of sexual action, exposure of pornography, exposure of violence moving pictures, proposition of prostitution, stalking, illegal use of personal information, item fraud, off-line sexual violence through chatting, off-line prostitution through chatting, off-line stalking through chatting. The results of this study can be summarized into two parts. The first, this study finds that juvenile's cybercrime has the most strong impact on victimization. Also juvenile's internet addiction has another impact. Juvenile's delinquents, low self-image and legal consciousness have partial impact. The second, the results show that male juveniles and high school students are more likely to experience victimization through chatting. And juveniles in low level of home economy and having permissive parents are also victimized more.

성폭력범죄에 대한 국민참여재판의 문제점과 개선방안

There are several issues such as secondary victimization of sexual assault victims in a process of trial and an invasion of privacy in the process of juror selection in Korean jury trial. Thus, it is necessary an institutional strategy considering the particularities of sex offense. This study has sought improvement plans with this critical mind. The issues and the improvement plans as results of the study are the following. The First,「People's participation in criminal trial Act」has prescribed only the option of the accused. However, it has to exclude jury trial if a sexual assault victim does not want for secondary victimization because the accused's right and the victim's protection should be balanced. The second, the trial for sex offense can be a private hearing but it has increased possibility of secondary victimization because victims have to testify in front of juror in jury trial. Therefore, it has to prohibit that sexual history and character of sexual assault victims is used as evidence. Furthermore, it should be to appoint a public defender for child and juvenile victims of sexual assault. The third, it is possibility to verdict favorable or unfavorable if the jury candidates have experienced sex offense or sexual assault victimization. Thus, it is necessary to use a supplementary question form to inquire sexual experience and consciousness of the jury candidates. The fourth, it is occurred an invasion issue of the jury candidate's privacy in the process of juror selection because it should inquire to the jury candidates about experiences of sex offense or sexual assault victimization. Therefore, it has to stipulate a notification on a private sidebar question and a juror's information security.

Mourning Becomes Electra에 나타난 죄와 죽음의 의식 연구

The purpose in this paper is to study the aspects and the meaning in sinuated with the Mannons’ sin and death’s consciousness intentively dealt with in the tragedy, Mourning Becomes Electra by Eugene Glad stone O’Neill. According to him it may well be that a sin-haunted life alongwith death’s consciousness is human being’s universal inevitable truth. In chapter Ⅱ, I deal with what and how Ezra’s death consciousness reflects in his attitude of life. And his being is characteristic of the Greek-temple-like Mannon residence. The grand house of the Mannons is himself and his tomb as well as his family. Ezra, in his judge’s robe in his portrait seems to preside over the happenings of the family. But when he turns from the civil war to his family, his one desire is for expiation. In spite, as he said, “Life was a dying. Being born was starting to die. Death was being born,” he is the incarnation of death image appearing the personification of “death in life.” as well. In chapter Ⅲ, this study drives the logical line to analyze Lavinia’s Fate consciousness. Lavinia forswears the happiness her upcoming mar riage might have brought her, and locks herself inside the shuttered house to atone during the rest of her life for the series of sins of the Mannon family. Her puritan heritage keeping aloof Lavinia, in her living death, must pay the dear price for being the last of the cursed family and is working out the curse-redemption. In chapter Ⅳ, I attempt to analyze Orin’s sinnings and death con sciousness. He manages to escape from death in life, from the “tomb” which Abe Mannon built to death-birth-peace, to the womb. He longs to fall in such love with Lavinia. Of course, he is given a flat refusal by her only to drive him to death. In other words, Orin’s private Furies, com bined with the puritanical influence of the Mannon family, lead him to adopt the personality and even the office of his own father, while Lavin ia adopts that of her mother. Thus their relationship moves, on his part, closer to that incestuous consummation he was unble to achieve with his mother. Far from reaching peace through the intervention of those around him, he can find his release through suicide. Consequently, O’Neill shows that any human life in this world which is represented by the Mannons is deprived of order, form and meaning. Their sinning and consciousness can not help redeeming themselves from the sin, and accepting their death. As for the Mannons, their attempts to escape from their psychological sin-consciousness seem impossible for them to. As the play is coming to its end with a return to the house, it is noticed as a tomb in which all the Mannons have committed their secret crimes, drawn out their lives and then must endure their punishment. O’Neill is to be recognized as a successful writer to replace the Greek fate by the natural forces of sin-consciousness we all have.

장차의 전자공업 발전을 위한 제언

지난 10월 10일부터 17일 까지 경복궁 특별전시장에서 열렸던 「제4회 전자 전람회」는 내적 외적으로 커다란 결실을 거두었음이 틀림없다. 전시품목만 하더라도 230종에 5만여점이었으며 이기간 동안 근 10만명에 가까운 관람객이 모여들었다. 국내는 물론 국외 Buyer들의 눈길을 끈 각종 전자제품의 전시를 통해 관람객들은 한국 전자공업의 밝은 앞날을 내다볼 수 있었으며 다양화, 국제화 되어가는 전자공업의 투자영역을 실감할 수 있었다. 특히 이번 전자전에서는 600여명의 외국투자가와 Buyer들이 내한하여 현장에서만도 3천1백만 달러의 거래상담이 이루어져 우리나라 전자업계의 희망찬 내일을 기약케 했다. 100억불 수출을 목표로 하는 전자공업의 진흥발전을 위해 우리는 이 시점에서 무엇을 어떻게 다져나가야 할 것인가? 이번 전자전을 직접 주관했던 한국정밀기계센터 이사장 이춘화씨는 우리나라 전자공업계가 지향할 길을 다음과 같이 제시했다.

Strange Interlude에 나타난 Nina의 남성의 권위에 대한 저항 의식

The purpose of this paper is to study Nina’s resistance to the western society’s central thought, God the Father’s authority which is in contrast to God the Mother. In chapter Ⅱ, I deal with the antagonistic men’s society of Professor Leeds and Gordon Shaw. God the Father's authority is symbolized by Professor Leeds who has life-destroying power. But Gordon Shaw is the embodiment of the idealized being who exists nowhere. In chapter Ⅲ, this study covers the complementary men’s society of Sam Evans and Edmund Darrell. Evans represents the physical man who is the typical modem society’s member. On the other hand, Darrell is embodied in modern man’s brain which is neurotic. In chapter Ⅳ, I attempt to analyze Marsden who has neutralized philosophy. He is neither a man nor a woman. He is a sexless being whom in Nina finds a peace of mind and rest. He forgives her for what she has done and accepts what she is. Consequently, a result of rejecting God the Father’s authority has the same effect when Nina devours man instead of redeeming him. O’Neill shows that the world does not consist of antagonism which is Good and Evil, Man and Woman. In his world all values are relative and life is an unceasing stream of experience.

Language Learner’s Identity and Language Investment

이 연구는 미국에 거주하는 한국이민여성의 영어 학습 투자를 이해하기 위해 그들의 정체성과 언어사용실태를 고찰한다. 이 연구의 이론은 후기 구조주의에 기반 한 초국가주의(Transnationalism)와 Norton(1994)의 투자(investment)이다. 이 연구는 언어학습자들이 이민자로써 다양한 역동적 자아를 구축해 가는데 있어 어떻게 그들이 사회와 그들의 관계를 해석해나가는지를 그리고 그들이 다문화 사회에서 어떻게 그들의 자아를 투자하여 영어 혹은 한국어를 사용하는지를 보여 준다. 이 연구 결과는, 그들은 미국에서 영어에만 언어사용을 국한시키지 않고 필요에 따라 역동적 정체성과 모국어인 한국어와 영어를 전략적이고 효과적으로 사용하며 그들의 상상의 공동체(immagined community)에서 언어의 국경을 넘나들고 있음을 보여준다. This study examines first generation Korean immigrant women’s identity in the U.S. and their language practice in order to understand their investment in learning English. The theoretical idea of this study is post-structuralism, drawing on the conceptual basis of Transnationalism and Norton’s (1994) investment of language. This study shows how a language learner constructing multiple dynamic identities as an immigrant interprets his/her relationship to their social world, and how they invest their identities and use Korean or English in multi-cultural society. The result shows that their language use was not limited to the target language such as English in the U.S. They use both Korean and English strategically and effectively with their dynamic identities. They were crossing language borders in their imagined community.

사이버범죄로부터 청소년보호를 위한 법·제도 개선방안

In this study, the status of the method on regulating the cybercrime legally is examined; including education of morality in the cyber space, enactment and revision of law to protect juveniles from cybercrime, control of time in cyber space. The institutional and legal improvement methods to protect juveniles from the cybercrime are concluded as follows. The first, legal improvement methods should be newly established like these; penalty regulation on inducement of sexual crime so as to prevent juvenile prostitution on Internet, cut-off regulation on internet injurious advertisement in order to preclude illegal information exposure to juveniles. Meanwhile, the law should be enacted regarding protection on juvenile media utilization to cope rapidly with radical changes of media environment. The Second, shut-down institution should be built up as to control internet game play in night time. Meanwhile, fatigue measurement is supposed to be systemized to low insurance worth on long-period game play. These institutions will come into effect within juvenile and parents’ self-imposed control. Other than these systems, juvenile should be educated and informed cyber morality not as to cause harms of cybercrime in person or be a offender of crime. For cyber morality education, law education, sex education, communication skill should be contained.
