Kim Jong-un was appointed as vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of North Korea’s Workers’ Party in Sep. 2010, and assumed the leadership when Kim Jong-il died of sudden death in Dec. 2011. This article intends to forecast the Kim Jong-un regime in comparison to the historical experiences of Joseon Kingdom. There is a difference between Joseon Kingdom and modern society, but it is important to compare the two. These share not only regional and foreign relations characteristics of the Korean peninsula, but also ethnic, cultural, historical and ideological ones of Korean communities. Joseon Kingdom experienced historical lessons while changing 27 kings during more than 500 years, and which is the meaningful references in the succession of the successor issue of Kim Jong-un. Sovereign powers in the Joseon Kingdom history were lost in these cases : King did not have self-defense power, lost upper-class ruling power support because of the tyranny, was challenged by opposition forces due to policy conflicts, and when the strong outside national power attempted unification, the case happened. In current North Korean regime, the possibility is in the case of attempt of strong outside national power’s unification and opposition force growth due to policy conflicts. Judging by the historical experiences of succession to the throne of Joseon Kingdom, it is a formidable task that Kim Jong-un takes the throne and maintains it.

성층화된 유체 내에서 내부파와 표면파의 파형 변화 실험을 위한 수치적 연구

Internal waves occur at the interface between two layers caused by a seawater density difference. The internal waves generated by a body moving in a two-layer fluid are also related to the generation of surface waves because of their interaction. In these complex flow phenomena, the experimental measurements and experimental set-up for the wave patterns of the internal waves and surface waves are very difficult to perform in a laboratory. Therefore, studies have mainly been carried out using numerical analysis. However, model tests are needed to evaluate the accuracy of numerical models. In this study, the various experimental conditions were evaluated using CFD simulations before experiments to measure the wave patterns of the internal waves and surface waves in a stratified two-layer fluid. The numerical simulation conditions included variations in the densities of the fluids, depth of the two-layer fluid, and moving speed of the underwater body.

본 연구는 주로 북한의 국경지역에 거주했던 탈북자들의 증언을 바탕으로 1990년대 이후 북한사회의 변화와 이에 따른 북한주민의 의식과 대응을 분석하였다. 주로 탈북자의 증언이 이루어진 지역은 북한에서도 선진적으로 변화가 이루어진 국경지역이라는 점에서 북한 내륙지대와는 일정한 변화의 차이가 존재할 것이다 그러나 현재는 이미 북한 전역에 300여 개의 종합시장이 생길 만큼 변화가 이루어졌기 때문에 국경지역에서 진행되었던 변화가 북한전역에 확산되고 있다고 생각된다. 본고는 1990년대 이후 나타난 북한 경제위기의 실상과 변화를 정리하고, 이로 인해 나타난 북한주민의 의식변화와 대응을 설명하였다. 1990 년대에 생존권을 위협하는 경제위기를 겪으면서 북한인민들의 행동양식과 의식은 크게 변화하였다. 하지만 아직 북한체제에서는 근본적으로 돈이나 경제적 지위가 출신성분이나 정치적 배경을 뒤집지는 못하는 실정이다 그리고 북한인민들은 집단주의의 무력화에도 불구하고, 체제가 부과한 이데올로기적 판단을 공식적으로 거부하는 데까지 발전되고 있지는 않다. 그러나 이제 북한인민들은 기능적 복종양식을 거쳐, 가치합리적 복종양식으로 전화될 가능성의 출발점에 있다. 점차 북한인민들은 그들이 신봉하는 가치에만 복종하게 될 것이다. This research analyzed the change of North Korea society and the crisis confrontation and hereupon the consciousness change of North Korea people since 1990’ s. This research was mainly based on verbal evidence of North Korean refugees. The North Korean refugees lived mainly along the border where the change accomplished so quickly. There wiI1 be some differences between the border and central North Korea. But this change which currently is advanced from the border is diffused in North Korea entire area. The consciousness of the North Korea people changed a lot through the economic crisis which threatened the existence of NK people in 1990’ s. But still basically the actual condition is that the economic position does not turn over a political position in North Korea system. The North Korea people cannot refuse the ideology which the NK system imposed in spite of the weakening groupism. But now NK people are in the starting point of the change where the North Korea people obey only rational values. Gradually NK people will obey only in the values which they believe, and the change of North Korea system will be inevitable.

조선중앙TV는 북한을 대표하는 TV방송으로서 북한 국내와 국외에서 모두 수신이 가능하다. 조선중앙TV의 핵심적 기능은 체제선전이고, 그 중에서도 김정일에 대한 선전을 가장 중요한 기능으로 한다. 이처럼 조선중앙TV가 김정일을 위한 선전매체로 기능하는 것은 조선중앙TV가 김정일의 강력한 권력에 장악되어 있기 때문이다. 이러한 정치적 환경 속에서 조선중앙TV는 김정일을 위한 선전을 반복하였지만, 북한 경제의 어려움이 지속되고 외부 정보와 영상물 등이 유입되면서 주민들의 의식은 변화가 생기게 되었다. 조선중앙TV는 일방적 체제선전방송과 드라마의 재방송 등으로 인해 북한 주민들의 관심이 약해지는 것에 대한 대응을 모색하지 않을 수 없었다. 2004년에 조선중앙TV는 북한 주민들의 관심을 끌기 위해 중국 드라마를 5개월이나 방영한바 있었는데, 2010년에는 중국에서 크게 히트한 드라마를 방영하는 등의 변화를 나타내고 있다. 더불어 국제체육 소식을 편성하여 유럽의 프로축구와 같은 국제 스포츠 소식을 전달하기도 하고, 2010년 월드컵 경기를 예전보다 빠르게 중계하는 등 변화를 나타내기도 했다. 이러한 조선중앙TV의 변화는 체제선전을 위해 방송의 영향력을 유지하는 데 목적이 있는데, 앞으로도 조선중앙TV는 시청자의 관심을 끌어들일 수 있는 부분을 중심으로 기술적인 변화를 시도할 것으로 보인다. Chosun Central TV is North Korea`s leading TV broadcasting system. All reception is possible from North Korea domestically and overseas. The core function of Chosun Central TV is for propaganda and above all to promote Kim JongIl. In the year 2000, Chosun Central TV concentrated on the propaganda of Kim JongIl. The organization of Chosun Central TV has been under both supervision and instruction for a long time, and all of the organization and program production are strongly inspected. In these political circumstances, Chosun Central TV repeated the propaganda for Kim JongIl, but North Koreans had different thoughts while suffering from financial hardship. With North Koreans` weak trust for their government, the circulation of external information was magnified. Chosun Central TV had to come up with an effective counterplan in respect to the weak interest in their programs. It broadcasted Chinese drama for five months to have North Korea residents` interests in 2004, and it also broadcasted a popular drama called ``Jam-Bok`` (``潛伏``: ``hiding``) in 2010. In addition, it organized an international sports game news and delivered the professional football news of Europe. The 2010 World Cup was relayed to residents all over the North Korea faster than the past, which was a big change. The change of Chosun Central TV is for maintaining the influence of broadcasting for the propaganda and even these small changes are followed by the decisions of the North Korea regime. Even though the interest for Chosun Central TV is getting weaker, it is difficult to expect quick change of Chosun Central TV.
