        외상성(外傷性) 기관지(氣管支) 파열(破裂) - 1례(例) 보고(報告) -

        Rupture of a bronchus is an unusual result of nonpenetrating trauma to the chest. This case was a 19 year old male who was a worker in the mine. The patient had sustained a compression chest injury without external wound or rib fracture. At five days after trauma, he was suffered from dyspnea and the symptom was progressively increased. Two weeks after the chest trauma, a diagnosis of left main bronchial obstruction due to traumatic bronchial rupture was made by means of bronchoscopy and bronchography. He was operated upon. The left lung was completely atelectatic and the left main bronchus was found to be transected at the level of 3cm from carina. End-to-end anastomosis of the bronchus was performed and the left lung was aerated very well. postoperative course was uneventful.

        기관(氣管) 섬유종(纖維腫)의 1례(例)

        Primary tumors of trachea are rather uncommon, and few cases of direct surgical excision were reported in the literature. Recently we had the opportunity to see a patient with a benign obstructing tumor of the trachea which was confirmed as fibroma. The patient has complained of intermittent dyspnea, especially during inspiratory phase, dry cough and wheezing of a strident character for last 8 years. Bronchoscopy or bronchography were not attempted because of severe dyspnea. Trachea tomogram revealed oval mass at the terminal trachea. The right posterolateral thoracotomy was performed. Tumor, $2.5{\times}1.7cm$ in size, was located at terminal trachea and removed through right lateral tracheotomy without difficulty. Postoperatively all the symptoms and signs disappeared.

        흰쥐의 심장을 이용한 Modified Isolated Working Heart Perfusion Technique

        We have modified an isolated perfusion rat heart model of cardiopulmonary bypass, with which we are able to screen the effects of various cardioplegic solutions and hypothermia upon the ability of the heart to survivie during and recover from period of ischemic arrest. The modified experimental model was differed from the original as follow : a heat coil chamber of atrial and aortic reservoir provided temperature control, and the perfusate was gassed with each pure oxygen and pure carbon dioxide in 95:5 ratio. The Langendorff perfusion was initiated for a 10 minute period by introducing perfusate at $37^{\circ}C.$ into the aorta from the aortic reservoir located 100 cm above the heart. The isolated perfused working rat heart model was a left heart preparation in which oxygenated perfusion medium (at $37^{\circ}C.$) entered the cannulated left atrium at a pressure of 20 cm $H_{2}O$ and was passed to the ventricle, from which it was sponeously elected(no electrical pacing) via an aortic cannula, against a hydrostatic pressure of 100cm $H_{2}O$. during this working period various indices of cardiac functin were measured. The cardiac functions were stable for over 3 hour with perfusion of Krebs-Henseleit bicarbonate buffer solution containing only glucose (11.1 mM/L). The percentage of cardiac functins were maintained about 94% on heart rate, 80.6% on peak aortic pressure, 87.7% on coronary flow and 76.3% on aortic flow rate after 3 hour of working heart perfusion at a pressure of 20 cm $H_{2}O$. We believe this preparation to be a good biochemical model for the human heart which offers many advantages including economic, speed of preparation, reproducibility, and the ability to handle large numbers.

        出版學術交流의 發展的 指向을 위한 硏究-韓ㆍ中ㆍ日 세 나라의 出版學에 대한 理解와 出版學術交流를 중심으로

        We hope to conduce to the results by presenting six subjects as followings on the basis of the description above; It is to show a key matter for development according to the exchange of international publishing scientific researches. First, understanding on the publishing science is almost the same with aim of three countries. In the sense of conception of the domain, it is. however, differentiated from the technique. Second, the international scientific research by three countries (Korea, China, and Japan) should be expanded all over the world. Third, there is the necessity to enact 'a award of publishing study of IFPS(International Forum on Publishing Studies)' for a professional scholar contributing greatly to publishing studies and 'a award of editor of IFPS' made prominent publishing editor an object of that prize. Fourth, there is the necessity to be interested in the design for this, because the publishing science or publishing study as an object of the science of editorship is very important. Fifth. the constant activation of the education of the publishing science is requested. Study and education are a cooperative system with each other such as the palm and the back of the hand. Sixth. there is the necessity for taking notice to constantly bring up the matters for publishing studies. This is important as a meaning of the expansion. and is very significant as the process of the basis of recognition at a high level. At last. all of them are very significant as an alternative creation for the future as well as the process of the expansion for the international scholarly communities on the basis of the publishing science or studies of the science of editorship.

        한국의 교과서 출판에 대한 지향적 과제 - 교과서 이해의 현상적 양태로 본 지향 과제를 중심으로 : 한국의 교과서 출판에 대한 지향적 과제

        교과서는 교수ㆍ학습 활동의 주된 수단이다. 세계 어느 나라든지 당시대의 사람들은 그들의 미래 세력에 대한 기대를 교과서를 통해 전하려 애쓴다. 이 때문에 교과서를 말하여‘교수ㆍ학습 활동의 주된 수단’이라 일컫는데, 그러한 지목은 여전히 유효하다. 교과서는 이데올로기와 교육 과정, 그리고 교육 권력에 관한 상호 구조를 드러내는 증거인 동시에, 학습자에게 지적 능력을 배양하는 수단으로 존재한다. 기능적인 면에서 본다면, 그 나라의 문화 발전과 사회 ㆍ경제적 이익을 추구하는 데 필요로 하는 직접적인 도구가 또한 교과서이다. 교과서는 대체로 보편한 지식 대상과 인간 생활에서의 경험 내용이 제시된 교수ㆍ학습용 표준 매체로 인정된다. 그런 교과서로 말하면, 국가 사회의 이념을 전달하는 제도 매체로서 위력적인 영향을 발휘한다. 따라서, 교과서도 출판 행위에 의한 교수ㆍ학습 매체로 이룩된다는 기본 속성을 벗어나지 않는다. 이와 관련하여, 본 논문은 다음과 같은 네가지 연구 문제를 중심으로 논의했음을 밝힌다. 첫째는 교육 산업 생산물로서의 교과서 출판이 지닌 특질을 전제하고자 했다. 이는 오늘의 상황을 이해하기 위한 의미 있는 서술이라고 본다. 둘째는 교과서에 대한 인식 일반에 관한 것이다. 즉, 교과서관의 살핌을 말한다. 특별히 정부 주도형 교과서 정책을 이행하고 있는 나라가 한국이므로 그러한 특수적 배경 속에서의 교과서관을 알아보고자 한 것이다. 셋째는 오늘의 교과서 상황을 논의하되 전환적 방향에 초점을 두어 점검하고자 했다. 한국은 2006년 말 현재로 1억 5,649만 6천 부의 교과서를 출판, 공급했다. 이 규모는 한국에서 발행되는 모든 일반 도서를 상회하는 범위이다. 이를 기초로 한 교과서 출판정책, 과제 등에 대하여 살폈다. 넷째는 디지털 교과서의 실용화에 따른 전망을 논의하고자 했다. 이 문제는 교육의 미래와 더불어 매우 중요한 관건이라고 본다. 위의 네 가지 논의와 관련하여 향후에 지향해야 할 비전을 요약, 제시하는 것도 중요하다고 보았다. 특별히 교과서가 지닌 교육 수단으로서의 고유성과 현재와 장래에의 기여에 대한 견해를 말함이다. 이와 관련하여, 여러 출판 활동 중에서 교과서가 차지하는 중요성과, 그 실질적인 산실인 교과서 전문 출판 기업이 선택해야 할 미래 지향적인 방향도 조언했다. 교과서는 모든 지식 내용을 정리해 온 매체이며 정보의 기반으로서 중요한 출판물로 자리잡아왔다. 그러므로 교과서는 시대와 지역, 민족의 차원을 넘어 여전히 중요한 교육수단으로 존재하며, 앞으로도 그런 점에서는 마찬가지일 것이다. The textbook is a main means of activity of a teaching-learning. In any country of the world, the contemporary people try to transfer expectation on their future power through the textbook. Because of this, the textbook is given as ‘a main means of activity of a teaching-learning’. The textbook not only is an evidence revealing the reciprocal structure with relation to an ideology, a curriculum and a educational power but also exists as a means cultivating an intellectual ability for a leaner. In view of its function, it is also the textbook that is a direct tool being necessary for pursuing the cultural development and the social and economic benefit of a country. The textbook is also inevitable from a basic attribute which is achieved by the medium of a teaching-learning in virtue of the publishing activity. In relation to this, this paper discusses four study matters as followings; The first, it assumes the characteristic of the textbook publishing asproduction of an educational industry. This may be a meaningful description in order to understand the present situation. The second, it is an issue on the general of cognition on the textbook; That is, it means the examination of a view on the textbook. Because it is especially Korea that carries out Government-initiated textbook policy, it is to study a view on the textbook under that special background. The third, it discusses the present situation of the textbook, but focuses on its conversion direction. As of the end of 2006, Korea published and distributed the textbooks of 156,496,000. This size is a range over all of the general books; On the basis of this, it examined the policy of the textbook publishing, its subject, and so forth. The fourth, it discusses prospect according to putting to practical use of a digital textbook. It is a very important matter together the future of education. In relation to four issues above, it is also important what summarizes and presents vision oriented hereafter; It especially means a characteristic as a means of education implied by the textbook and an opinion on contribution of the present and the future. In connection with this, it gives advice of importance held by the textbook among the various publishing activities and the future-oriented direction chosen by a professional textbook publishing firm which substantially gives birth to it. The textbook is a medium that it arranges all of the knowledge contents, and has occupied a position of the important publication as a basis of information. Therefore, the textbook still exists as an important educational means beyond a dimension of an era, a region, and a people, and may be the same on that point in future.

        정부 수립 이후 교과서의 위상에 관한 이해 : 교과서에 대한 이해와 그 특징적 변천 과정을 중심으로

        이 연구는 대한민국 건국 후 60 년이 흐르면서 교과서에 대한 관심이 어떻게 나타났으며, 그 변천과정에 나타난 특징적인 모습이 무엇인지를 알아보기 위해 논의하고자 했다. 그럼에 있어, 세 가지 연구 문제를 설정했다. 첫째는 광복 이후에 있어 교과서의 위상이란 무엇인가에 관한 것이다. 여기에는 교과서를 어떻게 보아왔으며, 이것이 지닌 의의와 관련하여 어떤 지향성을 선택했는가 하는 현상적인 문제를 포함한다. 이 문제는 다소 추상적이긴 하나 우리에게 있어 ‘교과서란 어떤 모습으로 존재했는가’ 하는 새삼스러운 물음에 관한 대답의 일부로서 필요하다고 보았다. 둘째는 교과서 연구의 흐름과 관련하여 그에 따른 특징이 어떻게 나타났는지를 알아보고자 했다. 이에 관한 살핌은 대한민국 시대의 교과서 60 주년에 즈음하여 반성과 지향의 양대 측면에서 요긴한 논의라고 사료된다. 셋째는 교과용 도서 출판의 흐름을 짚어 보려 했다. 이를 위해 두 가지 문제로 제한했는데, 외적 체제와 내적 체제 요건들에 대한 개관이 그것이다. This study is to discuss how the concern on a textbook has been showed and what the characteristic appearance in its change process has been for 60 years since the establishment of the Republic of Korea. For these, this paper handles three subjects. The first one is to be what the phase of a textbook is after the restoration of independence. It includes the phenomenon matters on how a textbook has been considered, and which direction has been selected in relation to its meaning. These matters are considered to have need of as a part of answer about the abrupt question of ‘What appearance did a textbook exist as?’ for us while these are a little abstract. The second is to investigate how the characters according to the flow of study have showed. The investigation on that is considered as a critical discussion in both sides of reconsideration and aspiration at the time of the 60th anniversary of a textbook of an Republic of Korea age. The third is to investigate the flow of a book publishing for a course of study. For this, it is limited to two subjects; It is an outline on the factors of the internal and external structures.

        出版學과 編輯硏究의 相關性 -中國에서의 出版學과 編輯學硏究傾向을 중심으로-

        It is China that has kept the oldest book-culture in the world. What the book-culture is of long standing means that the publishing culture has also succeeded to its time-honored tradition. Ancient Chinese had called the compiling work of book 'editorship', which meant the conception containing publishing. Judging from this, we can find out that they took a serious view of an editor's job, attitude, function, etc. Thus the scholarly term of this field is commonly designated as 'the Science of Editorship'. In the case of publishing, it came to the fore as a very important cultural industry by repeating mass-communication phenomena of thought and emotion. Because of this, the necessity for making a scientific study of publishing came to largely putting a stress on. As a result of this, it is the Publishing Science that is established as a scholarly field. In China, both two fields were prescribed as 'a newly risen scholarship', and the necessity for these studies have ever been advocated by Government; This background arose from a state policy which clung to Socialism. Frankly speaking, the nature of study on two fields has many common features from the viewpoint of that both of them are the media of cultural communication, and are studied on all the phenomena due to that. In a strict sense, the Publishing Science is, however, composed of three structures of edit(planning), printing(manufacturing) and publication(distribution), and investigates 'a contradictory rule' on selection, arrangement, reproduction, and distribution of a writing. In contrast to this, editorship as a main subject of the Science of Editorship is a system of a kind(step of duties ; functions and works). Thus the Science of Editorship is a scholarly field that is understood as a complex structure of an application science in accordance with substantial control as well as abstract cultural theory; For example, the rules of edit-labor or the study of cultural and social scientific structures are in the part of theory, edit-works for various media are in that of application. China has developed independent research field as a the Science of Editorship which makes editorship and its various phenomena an object of scientific study. Aimed subject on both of two study fields for the future is to recognize each system of compatibility and unification by taking a serious view of accord and symmetry. For this, these fields are required to be organically connected with each other; It is caused by a standpoint that should not be isolated from each study field; For instance, the terms of 'an major study of the Editorship and Publishing Science' in a university or 'the Publishing and Editorship Science' from a series of writings introduced newly are to show those viewpoints.

        교과서 출판인 백당 현채의 출판 활동에 대한 연구

        교과서를 말하여 교수.학습 활동에 사용되는 주된 수단이라고 한다. 어느 나라나 어떤 민족을 막론하고 교과서처럼 큰 영향력을 행사하는 책도 없을 것이다. 교과서를 통하여 배우지 않은 사람이 없는 형편이고, 교과서 없이 교육받은 경우도 또한 찾아보기 어렵다. 교과서는 교육 수단으로서 주된 존재일 뿐만 아니라, 학습 세대의 필수품으로서도 가장 중요한 조건일 수밖에 없기 때문이다. 이와 같은 인식이 교과서를 생각하는 일반적인 관점이기도 하다. 따라서 어느 나라이 든 자국의 근대화 과정에서 보다 적극적인 개안을 촉진시킨 가장 중요한 교육 수단으로 역할한 것도 교과서였음을 유의하게 된다. 상대적인 면에서 피식민 경험이 있는 민족이나 국가의 경우, 그릇된 이데올로기의 함정 속으로 몰아넣은 매체 또한 교과서였다.우리의 역사 중 근대 시기에로의 구획은 보는 이의 관점에 따라 여러 견해가 있으나 보통 19세기 후반에서 20세기 초까지를 일컫는다. 이 시기를 좀 더 단축해 보면 19세기 말기에서 구한국 말(1880년대 초~1910)까지로 그어지며, 이 기간을 보통 ‘신문화 유입기’라 일컫기도 한다. 우리에게 있어, 이러한 시대적 조류는 외세에 의한 식민주의로 덧입혀진 암울한 전이 과정(轉移過程)을 경험케 했다. 그러한 특수 시대를 이해하려면, 당연히 교과서 편찬.발 행에 대한 문제를 말하게 된다. 이는 민족 교육을 지향하여 개명을 앞당기고자 한 매우 중차대한 관건이었기 때문이다. 이와 관련하여 당시 교과용 도서 출판 활동에 큰 족적을 남긴 백당(白堂) 현채(玄采,1856~1925)를 상기하게 된다. 그는 교과용 도서의 번역자이며 저술가인 동시에 이를 직접 제작.보급한 출판인이었기 때문이다. 백당 현채는 민족의식과 애국심 고취에 앞장선 민족주의 사학자, 대표적인 번역 사학자, 개화 사상가, 국권 회복을 주창한 애국 계몽 운동가 등으로 평가되고 있다. 그는 원래역관(譯官) 출신이지만, 단지 서로 다른 언어를 사용하는 둘 이상의 화자(話者) 사이에서 소통을 매개해 주는 ‘통변자’만으로 머무르려 하지 않았다. 그의 탁월한 외국어 능력은 신문물을 소개하는 여러 훌륭한 해외 저작물들을 번역, 출판하는 역량으로 뒷받침되었다. 그렇게 하여 이룩된 내용물들을 직접 편집.출판하고 보급하는 등 치열한 출판인으로 자신을 실현했던 것이다. 요컨대, 현채를 출판인으로 보고자 하는 뚜렷한 이유가 바로 그러 한 모습을 통해 재발견하게 된다는 점에서 특별한 유의미성이 있다. People say that textbook is a major means used for teaching and learning activity. Regardless of a country and a nation, there might be no a book exerting an important influence upon but a textbook. There is no one not educated through textbook, and it is also difficult to find someone educated without textbook;Because textbook is not only the major existence as an education means but the most important condition as requisites for the learning generation. This cognition of textbook is a general point of view. Thus it is the only textbook that plays a role in the most important education means enlightened more positively in the process of one's native modernization in any country. On the other hand, in case of nations or countries experienced in colonizing it is also textbook that is a medium driving into the pitfall of mistaken ideology. Modern ages in our history usually stands for the division with in the latter half of the 19th century to the early part of the 20th one, while it is disagreed according to the points of views;In condensing this period into more concretely, it ranges in the latter half of the 19th century to the end of the Greater Korean Empire(the early part of 1880~1990), and this age is usually called 'the period of new culture inflow'. In that current of the times, we experienced the gloomy transition period colonized by foreign powers. In order to understand that specific times, we justly bring in the problems on the compilation and publication of textbook. Because it is the key of great importance in advancing its civilization toward its national education. In relation to that, it reminds us of Baek Dang Hyeon Chae(1856~1925) who left his big footprints in the publishing activity for textbook;Because he was a translator and writer of textbook as well as a publisher producing and distributing it for himself. Baek Dang Hyeon Chae receives high praise as a historian of the principle of self-determination of peoples leading to inspire national consciousness and patriotism into the hearts of people, a representative translation historian, a civilized thinker, a patriotic leader for enlightenment advocating restoration of its sovereignty, and so forth. He was originally an officer affiliated with interpretation, but did not remain to act as only an interpretor mediating a mutual understanding between more than two speakers using the different languages. His excellent capacity of a foreign language was backed up the translations of some excellent foreign books introducing the new civilization, and the publishing ability. He has realized himself as a keen publisher editing and publishing, and distributing for himself the contents achieved through them. In short, it is taken in the specific significant meaning in view of that the clear reason why we regard Hyeon Chae as a publisher is rediscovered through those features.

        국어 교과서에서의 이념 지향과 출판 정책

        A Korean language textbook is one of the most important educational means with ethics, morality and Korean history according to the curriculums of an elementary school, a middle one, and a high one. This textbook has a great effect on the learning generation owing to the most market share as well as a compulsory subject. Because of that, the ideology which the authority of the times tries to pursue regardless of any form is great possible to be reflected in the textbook.<br/> This paper is constructed from the discussion correlated with two domains about the Korean language textbook―the function as a tool related to ideology and the characteristic as a publishing medium. It is summarized as the following;<br/> (1) Ideological problems in the Korean language textbook<br/> First, in the modernistic meaning, the Korean language textbook was established by advocating nationalism.<br/> Second, there were some cases brought to the confusion in the educational value belief because the works which had been produced in the colonial days for a long time were included in the textbook.<br/> Third, the problems on the education of the curriculum of Korean and its textbooks experienced in the 1980’s gave rise to the serious complications.<br/> Fourth, the textbooks of the curriculum of Korean was regarded as ‘a national spirit course’, and then were pointed out as an object of the many experiments.<br/> Fifth, it requires to watch that the correlation between Korean(and Korean language textbook) and ideology may be changed by the authority.<br/> (2) Problems of the publishing policy in the Korean language textbook<br/> First, it should be sublated that the Korean language textbook would become a selfish target around the right of publication.<br/> Second, in the studies on the publishing and supply of the textbook, an investigation of dispute on an institution is important, but a theoretical research should also be complemented.<br/> Third, nowadays in the Korean language textbooks, the dysfunction factors were occurred frequently from the pursuit of variety for the compilation system, and then it should be corrected immediately.<br/> Fourth, the Korean language textbook is a medium for a teaching and learning arranged in native letter. Thus it should contribute to increasing an understanding on the publishing medium as an important factor transmitting the activities of the culture in these days.<br/> Fifth, we should specially arouse our attention to the big proposition of that the Korean language textbook is an education medium of our national language in the unification-orientation days.

        이 논문은 한국의 초ㆍ중ㆍ고등 학교 교과용 도서 서체의 바람직한 적용 방안이 무엇이어야 하는가를 주된 연구 문제로 제기하여 논의한 내용으로 되어 있다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 아홉 가지로 요약되는 결론을 이끌어 냈다. 첫째, 교과용 도서에서의 서체 개선은 문화적인 관습의 차원에서 신중하게 적용되어야 한다. 둘째, 현행 명조체류 이외의 서체들은 본문을 보완하는 부속 콘텐츠들에 선별적으로 사용함으로써 편집상의 조화를 돕는 선에서 선택되어야 한다. 셋째, ‘초ㆍ중ㆍ고등 학교의 국어 교과서에는 어떤 서체가 적절한 것인가 ?’라는 물음을 전제하고, 서체 선정 과정을 공론에 회부하는 방안이 적극 실현되어야 한다. 넷째, 저널리즘 서체(신문 명조체)가 일부 교과서의 바탕체로 진입했는데, 이런 현상은 서체 선택에 새로운 문을 연 중요한 실현이라 하겠다. 이 서체의 활달한 자면은 해당교과의 교과서가 지닌 이미지와 걸맞은 효과를 보여 주는 등 긍정적으로 평가된다. 다섯째, 교과서 검정 요건으로 서체 및 판면 꾸밈에 대한 평가 비중을 높임으로써 수준 높은 매체 창출을 유도해야 한다. 이를 뒷받침하기 위해서는 복수로 구성된 서체 및 출판ㆍ편집 전문가도 심사위원으로 초빙하여 분야별 전문성을 심화, 제고해야 할 필요성이 있다. 여섯째, 서체의 가속적인 증가는 바람직한 현상이다. 그러나 새로운 패키지를 개발할 때마다 기존의 것으로부터 차별화하는 데 기능적인 목적 지향을 두는 사례가 다발되고 있는 등의 부정적인 요인을 개선해야 한다. 일곱째, 서체 연구는 일반적으로 외적 체제 요건으로만 종속시켜 논의하는 경향이 있는데, 이를 독립적인 주제로 다루는 등 국가적 프로젝트로 격상시켜야 마땅하다. 요컨대, 교과서가 출판물인 한에 있어서는(영상 미디어의 경우에서도 마찬가지이다.), 거의 모든 교수ㆍ학습 내용이 문자를 통해 전달된다는 새삼스러운 사실에 깊이 유의해야 한다는 취지인 것이다. 여덟째, 출판 매체와 영상 매체용 서체의 가독성이 동일한 수준이어야 한다. 즉, 인쇄 중심의 현행 서체는 디지털 화면 설계에 의해 얻어 내는 것이긴 하나, 이를 영상 수단으로 옮길 경우 자면의 선예성(鮮銳性)이나 줄기의 유연성면에서 문제가 있다는 점이 극복해야 할 과제이다. 아홉째, 서체 연구에 대한 적극적인 지원이 시급한 실정임을 짚고 넘어가야 한다. 따라서, 학교 교육 과정에서 서체 학습에 관한 최소한의 배려도 사실상 배제되어 있다는 사실을 지적하지 않을 수 없다. 차제에 이런 문제들에 대한 적극적인 관심이 제기되기를 바라마지않는다. This paper consisted of the contents debated on what a desired plan of the textbook typeface should be for an elementary school, a middle school and a high school of Korea, as a main study issue. The results are summarized in nine issues as followings; The first, the reformation of the typeface should be carefully applied in the textbook on the level of the cultural custom. The second, the typefaces except the current Ming-style print type should be chosen to the extent of the harmony in editing by using selectively the auxiliary contents which complement the main text. The third, on the assumption that ‘What kind of typeface is appropriate for Korean textbook of an elementary, a middle, and a high school?’, a plan which is come to public opinion on the process of the selection of typeface should be realized positively. The fourth, a journalism typeface(a newspaper Ming-style print type) is entered into a base Ming-style printing type of some textbooks; This phenomenon is regarded as an important realization opening a new door in selecting a typeface. The liberal font of this typeface is positively appraised such as showing the effect to correspond with the image of an appropriate textbook. The fifth, by increasing an appraisal weight on the decoration of a typeface or a format in the essential conditions of a textbook authorization, the creation of media on a high level should be led. In order to back it up, a large number of professionals in a typeface or a publishing edition should be called in as the judges, then there are the necessity for strengthening and increasing a specialization by each field. The sixth, the accelerative increase of a typeface is a desirable phenomenon. Whenever a new package, however, is developed, there have been a lot of cases for the functional purpose of the difference from a existing one; That negative factor should be improved. The seventh, the study of a typeface is generally apt to be debated only by subordinating to the factors of an external system; Like its dealing with an independent subject, it is suitable to be raise to higher status by a national project. In short, as far as a textbook is a publication(it is also the same in case of the image media), it should deeply pay attention to the abrupt fact that most of the teaching-learning contents are transmitted through a letter. The eighth, readability of a typeface for the publishing and the image media should be an equal level. That is, the current typeface centering around print is to be gotten by a digital screen design, but in case of transforming it into the image media, what has a problem in the sharpness of a letter or the softness of a stem is a subject to have to be overcome. The ninth, the positive support on a typeface study is a matter to have to be settled without a moment’s delay. Thus it is compelled to point out the fact that a minimum concern on the typeface learning is also excluded in a course of study. On this occasion, it is desired that the positive concern on these problems may be brought in.
