Backbone NMR Assignments of an Uncharacterized Protein, SF1002 from Shigella flexneri 5a M90T

The causative agent of shigellosis, Shigella flexneri, is a Gram-negative anaerobic bacterial pathogen that causes one of the most infectious bacterial dysenteries in humans. It originates infection by invading cells of the colonic epithelium using a type III secretion system. Despite S. flexneri is closely linked with the human disease, structural study is very deficient. Here, we have initiated NMR study of SF1002 which is the uncharacterized protein from S. flexneri strain 5a M90T. Based on a series of triple resonance spectra, sequence-specific assignments of the backbone amide resonances of SF1002 could be completed. This NMR study would contribute to the structural genomics of S.flexneri.

정신분석적 가족치료 일고찰 : 보웬의 삼각관계와 라깡의 R도식을 중심으로

보웬은 어머니와 자녀들 간에 불안정한 애착관계가 형성되면 결국 분화가 이루어지지 않게 되고, 불안정한 애착관계를 형성한 사람은 자신을 유지하고 지탱하기 위하여 다른 사람과 관계를 맺으려고 하는데 이것을 삼각관계라 했다. 프로이드는 물질적 실재 외에 심적 실재가 존재하며 환자의 개인적 역사를 통한 주체의 심적 실재의 중요성을 강조했다. 이런 심적 실재의 중요성은 "가족소설", "가족신화"에서 잘 나타나 있다. 그래서 우리는 가족소설과 정신분석적 가족치료의 중심에 있는 오이디푸스 콤플렉스를 얘기하지 않을 수 없다. 오이디푸스는 인간과 인류의 기원 관계를 조명하고, 남녀의 차이, 거세 콤플렉스, 자손과 가계 관계를 조명하는 중요한 이론적 토대가 된다. 그것은 단순히 생애의 어느 한 시기에 국한된 경험만이 아니라, 우리가 살아가는 동안 끊임없이 되풀이 되고 재현되는 무의식 심리 경험을 의미한다. 라깡의 오이디푸스에서 R도식은 L도식으로부터 파생된 것으로 이른바 거울상계 이론과 아버지 은유의 개념들을 통합한다. R도식은 라깡이 앞서 수행했던 거울상계 L도식의 상상계와 상징계 사이에 놓인 주체의 현실(실재, 실재계)의 자리매김을 개념화하기 위한 총체적 시각적인 노력이다. 상상계와 상징계라는 이 두 영역의 내부에 주체의 실재를 자리매김하는 것이다. 주체의 실재(R)는 상상계(I)와 상징계(S)에 동시에 참여한다. R도식은 4각형으로 되어있는데, 2개의 오이디푸스 삼각형, 어머니-아이-팔뤼스(M-I-φ)라는 상상적 삼각형과 아버지-어머니-아이(P-M-I)라는 상징적 삼각형이 합쳐진 것이다. 그 안에 실재계 사각형(imMI)로 표현된 실재(R, 실재계)의 영역이 있다. 그 영역은 상상계(I)와 상징계(S)의 중간(경계)에 있으면서 그 두 영역을 접합, 연결시키고 있음을 알려주는 것으로 실재계 사각형의 네 꼭지점을 뫼비우스의 띠처럼 비틀어서 연결을 시킨 것과 같다. 현실의 지각(실재계)은 아버지 은유의 도입으로 정상화를 수용하는 것일 뿐만 아니라, 상징적 선들과 상상적 선들에 의한 경계의 영역이기도 하다. R도식은 주체의 현실(실재)에 이런 어쩔 수 없는 한계, 상징적 삼각형에 기반이 되는 자아이상-어머니(I-M) 이자관계의 한계를 수용하여 아버지 은유의 개념(상징계) 도입을 성공적으로 수행하고 있다.

This paper presents a lumped model to predict crosstalk characteristics of thermally driven inkjet print heads. Using the lumped R-C model, heating characteristics of the head are predicted to be in agreement with IR temperature measurements. The inter-channel crosstalk is simulated using the lumped R-L network. The values of viscous flow resistance, R and flow inertance, L of connecting channels are adjusted to accord with the 3-D numerical simulation results of three adjacent jets. The crosstalk behaviors of a back shooter head as well as a top shooter head have been investigated. Predictions of the proposed lumped model on the meniscus oscillations are consistent with numerical simulation results. Comparison of the lumped model with experimental results identifies that abnormal two-drop ejection phenomena are related to the increased meniscus oscillations because of the more severe crosstalk effects at higher printing speeds. The degree of crosstalk has been quantified using cross-correlations between neighboring channels and a critical channel dimension for acceptable crosstalk has been proposed and validated with the numerical simulations. Our model can be used as a design tool for a better design of thermal inkjet print heads to minimize crosstalk effects.

정신분석학의 자아 일고찰: 프로이트의 자아와 라깡의 자아를 중심으로

Le Moi est un produit, un résultat de la conjonction de deux éléments différents. Il se constitue par la conjonction de l’autoérotisme originel et d’une « action psychique nouvelle » qui, en même temps, constitue la condition de possibilité du narcissisme. Cette action nouvelle, qui s’ajoute à l’auto-érotisme, conduit à une unification des multiples pulsions. Le Moi est le résultat de cette activité d’unification. Freud conçoit le Moi comme une intégration de plus en plus englobante de la multiplicité des pulsions et des désirs psychiques dans l’unité de la personnalité. Lacan essaye demontrer que la projection de la surface corporelle constitue la forme première du Moi. Le Moi de Lacan sera tout d’abord une simple forme, une image vide, qui comme telle se prête à toutes les unifications, à toutes les synthèses ultérieures de la constitution du sujet. L’assomption de la forme imaginaire de l’autre est à l’origine du Moi. Le Moi est le lieu d’un autre dans le sujet; il n’est pas son centre, ouson noyau constituti. L’Autre, la structure triangulaire montre que tout en étant intersubjective, la dimension symbolique n’en semble pas moins « ex-sister » au-delà de l’individu, des individus et de leur champ de maîtrise. Si l’imaginaire ne s’installe que grâce à la médiation par l’autre, la médiation par l’Autre relève d’une structure symbolique qui ne concerne ni la présence physique, ni l’image d’un sujet. L’autre peut intervenir comme médiateur au niveau du stade du miroir parce que la dimension symbolique, par ce que l’Autre lui confère cette fonction dans la structure générale. Seule la théorie psychanalytique permet enfin de montrer la véritable détermination du sujet humain, en prenant en compte la dimension symbolique derrière la dimension imaginaire. 프로이트의 자아는 두 개의 서로 다른 요소들의 조합의 결과이다. 자아는 최초의 오토-에로티즘(l’auto-érotisme)과 새로운 정신심적 행위의 결합으로 구성된다. 오토-에로티즘에 첨부된 이런 행위는 수많은 충동들의 통일을 인도한다. 자아는 이런 통일 활동의 결과이다. 프로이트는, 자아를 인성의 단위에서 수많은 충동들과 정신심적 욕망들의 점진적인 통합으로 이해한다. 예비 단계에서의 오토-에로티즘은, 자아가 항상 무엇보다도 내체화된 자아에 머물도록 한다. 예비 단계를 넘어서, 자아는 계속적인 동일시의 결과이다. 자아는 닮음(모사) 또는 정체성을 인식하는 동일시 운동 내에거주한다. 라깡은 먼저 육체적 외관의 투사, 이미지의 투영이 자아의 최초 형태를 구성한다는 것을 증명해보이기를 노력한다. 그러므로 라깡의 자아는 우선 단순한 형태, 빈 상태, 결여 상태로 시작하고, 그것이 곧 주체 구성의 모든 통합과 통일을 준비하게 된다. 자아는 주체 안에서의 타자의 장소이다. 자아가 중심이 아니고 구성요소의 핵도 아니다. 주체는, 자아가 이미 항상 어떤 타자라는 범주에서의주체이다. 타자의 상상적 형상으로의 승천은 자아의 기원이다. 큰타자는 상호주체가 되도록 하면서 상징적 차원이 개인과 개인들 그리고 개인들의 지배의 영역을 넘어서 외-재(ex-sister)하게 한다. 큰타자(Autre)에 의한 중개는 물리적 현존에 관련된 것도 아니고 주체의 이미지에 관련된 것도 아닌 상징계적 구조에 속한 것이다. 상징계의 영역에 들어와야 비로소 실재계와 상상계가 합해져서 실상을 형성하는 것이다. 결국 정신분석 이론은 상상계를 넘어서 상징계를 창안하여 도입하면서 인간 주체의 진정한 정체성을 입증한다.

Oxidation-induced conformational change of Hsp33, monitored by NMR

Hsp33 is a prokaryotic molecular chaperon that exerts a holdase activity upon response to an oxidative stress at raised temperature. In particular, intramolecular disulfide bond formation between the four conserved cysteines that bind a zinc ion in reduced state is known to be critically associated with the redox sensing. Here we report the backbone NMR assignment results of the half-oxidized Hsp33, where only two of the four cysteines form an intramolecular disulfide bond. Almost all of the resolved peaks could be unambiguously assigned, although the total assignments extent reached just about 50%. Majority of the missing assignments could be attributed to a significant spectral collapse, largely due to the oxidation-induced unfolding of the C-terminal redox-switch domain. These results support two previous suggestions: conformational change in the first oxidation step is localized mainly in the C-terminal zinc-binding domain, and the half-oxidized form would be still inactive. However, some additional regions appeared to be potentially changed from the reduced state, which suggest that the half-oxidized conformation would be an intermediate state that is more labile to heat and/or further oxidation.

초음파 센서 기반의 위치 추정 기법을 이용한 모형차량의 경로추종 실험

무인차량의 주행에 요구되는 중요 기술은 정확하고 안정된 차량의 위치추정이다. 기존 방법 중 레이저나 스테레오 비전 시스템은 정확한 측정이 가능하지만 고사양의 시스템과 비용이 많이 든다. 반면 초음파 센서를 이용해 차량 위치 추정 알고리즘을 구성했을 경우 계산량이 간소하고 비용이 적게 들지만 오차에 의한 정밀도가 떨어지는 편이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 모형차량의 정밀한 위치인식을 위해 초음파 센서의 정보를 필터링 하여 정밀도를 높이는 방안을 제안하였다. 제안한 시스템은 모형차량을 사용하여 차량 위치인식, 경로추종 실험을 통해 입증하였다.
