Dance in 21st century is development in various ways. Then the development of dance can be brought by the development of society, politics and religion. For example, we can find the root of Korean traditional dance from the ritual sources of Salpuli choom, Cheoyongmu, etc. And we can find some Buddist related influences in Korean traditional dance, such as Seungmu, Nabichoom, Barachoom. Usually the nature of religion should be permant, but the style of religious dance should be changed according to the development of the society. Thus 21st Buddist dance in postmodern society should find its new method to develop in modern society. The encounter between dance and religion is very important. The meeting of dance and Buddist can produce mutual benefits for both sides. So contemporary choreographers should concentrate on the development of Buddist dance. In all these context, the essay will find out the situation and methods of the development of contemporary Buddist dance. Thus, first, I`ll find what`s the relationship of dance and Buddist. And I will elucidate what kinds of Buddist dances we have now. Then, I will check the situation of Korean Buddist dance. And then finally. I will find some methods to develop the Korean Buddist dances.
실내조경식물소재 개발을 위한 연구 -자생 Ardisia속의 식물-
이애경(Ae-Kyung Lee),서정근(Jeung-Keun Suh) 한국실내조경협회 1999 室內造景 = Journal of the Korean institute of interior Vol.1 No.1
Three species of Ardisia grow in wet areas under ever green forest along the coastal and island regions. A. pusilla is distributed mostly in Islands of Chejudo. Sohuksando and Wando. A. crenata in Islands of Chejudo, Hongdo, Kumondo, and Huksando of the southern coastal region. A. japonica were surveyed in the Island of Ullnungdo, Kanghwado. The natural habitat for A. japonica was extended to a northern areas as compared to other two species. The most +significant environmental factor determining the distribution of genus Ardisia in Korea is a low temperature in January. A. japonica is usually found in the region where mean and low January temperature, respectively, is -1.9℃ and - 12.1℃, A. crenata in 0.4℃ and -4.7℃, and A. pusilla in 4.5℃ and -3.6℃. A. japonica shows a good growth under the light intensity of 2.2 - 62.0㎛ol . m-2. S-l, and A. crenata together with A. pusilla under 27.8 82.6 pmol' m-2. S'l, indicating that all three species of Ardisia required a low light intensity for optimum growth. Cuttings of both A. japonica and A. pusilla rooted well when propagated in rooting medium composed of vermiculite. while A. crenata did so with a medium composed of vermiculite plus peatmoss. The number of roots per cutting was significantly increased by 2,000 mg/L IBA with A. japonica and by with 200 mg/L NAA with A. pusilla, The number of leaves, flower buds. leaf area, and leaf size was increased when plants were grown under 35% shade. Chlorophyll content. number of leaves. leaf width, size and area of A. crenata were increased when grown under 55% shade. Thus the response to low light level suggested that genus Ardisia can be produced for indoor landscape plants.
