        A study on usability of tour application interface design in smart phones using eye-tracking

        Tour application have a lot of information to offer. Because smart phones’ screen is small, it is necessary to efficiently organize user interface(UI). To have a quantity analysis on human's' attention affected by layout position in tour application UI design, an experiment was proposed and then the data analysis was done. Thirty subjects took part in our experiment and 20 tour application layout images divided into four area of interest (AOI) were taken as the stimulus randomly. Data was recorded by the Tobi Pro X2-30 eye tracker system. The heat maps and gaze plot results were analyzed. And then One-way ANOVA (analysis of variance) statistical method was applied to finding out the significant difference in factor levels. Results show that the active area and eye movements tracking roads within statistic meaning. Moreover, ANOVA (F = 24.28, p = 2.21267e−15 < 0.01) shows that the different positions have significance difference effect on subjects' attention and mean of AOI (4) is a significant difference from other three area. And then the influence degree of AOI (4) (F = 13.90, p = 0.098 > 0.05) is weaker than other regions through the simple test. In conclusion, the tour applications should be considered the layout position effects on improving the attraction for corresponding users.

        한국어 거절 전략별 거절의 강도에 대한 인식 및 거절-응답 인접쌍 연구 -한국어 모어 화자와 중국인 학습자를 대상으로-

        The purpose of this study is to examine how the intensity of refusal in Korean is recognized depending on the refusal strategy and to find out what types of response follow such refusal. For this purpose, the recognition of the intensity of refusal and the response from Koreans and Chinese advanced learners were compared focusing on the situations of request-refusal that occur in close personal relationships. According to the experiment, there were differences between Koreans and Chinese advanced learners in the recognition of the intensity of refusal in each strategy; however, both groups recognized the level of the intensity of refusal strategies in the order of ‘explanation> statement of alternative>future acceptance>denial of ability’. In recognizing the intensity of refusal, differences between groups were statistically significant in most strategies. On the other hand, the types of responses following the refusal strategy showed that the two groups had different rates of acceptance and re-required responses depending on the refusal strategy. Differences between the two groups such as the use of details and expressions, as well as unique responses that were given only by Koreans could be identified. This study gave meaningful insight into the recognition of the intensity of refusal depending on the refusal strategy and the consequent speech acts while examining the responses that were not covered much in the studies on adjacent pairs. Also, while existing studies were conducted mainly through drama analysis, it would be meaningful to subdivide the types of responses based on the collection of actual utterances from Koreans and compare them with the responses from Chinese learners of Korean to identify the difference.

        Analysis of Commercial Film Production in the Age of Artificial Intelligence -Focusing on Alibaba Wood case-

        Image is one of the most important advertising media. Thanks to the development of the Internet, technology has opened up a new medium for human life. In particular, the rapid development of online shopping market in China has built a broader trading platform for countless small and medium-sized enterprises. At the same time, in order to make the product information accepted by consumers more quickly and accurately, commercial film, as an important media for product and brand promotion, has been paid more attention by online shopping merchants. However, the traditional production procedure is complex and high-cost, which cannot meet the market demand. This paper summarizes the characteristics of commercial film and the elements of production. By analyzing the changes of media environment, the impact of such alterations on the dissemination of information is investigated. Combining with the case analysis of film production AI(Artificial Intelligence) — “Alibaba Wood”, we studied the influence of AI on traditional commercial film production and production characteristics, and then proposed a more efficient and cheaper production scheme. In the digital media environment of IoT and AI, the data-driven AI technology can make the production much easier. AI proposes a variety of solutions for different needs. In the era of artificial intelligence, the production of commercial film will be made with the help of designers, engineers and AI together. AI gives commercial film demanders greater power and more possibilities, which makes the creation popular.

        중국인 학습자의 한국어 개념 생략에 대한 인식 연구

        The purpose of this study is to examine the types of ellipses in Korean sentences that are difficult for Chinese Korean language learners to perceive from observing a Korean conversation. Furthermore, we investigate whether there is a difference in which the learner is able to recognize the ellipses based on two conditions: (1) the component of the sentence that is omitted (i.e. the subject, the object, the predicate) and (2) the learner’s proficiency level (i.e. intermediate versus advanced-level). The participants in this study include a group of fifteen Korean native speakers and a group of fifteen intermediate and advanced-level Chinese Korean language learners. In terms of data collection, edited video clips of a Korean language conversation were shown to the participants. Then, the participants were asked to check off the items in which they noticed an ellipse in the speech from the video. From the statistical results, it is evident that there is a significant difference in the ability of the Chinese Korean language learners to pick up on ellipses in speech compared to the responses provided by Korean native speakers. In addition, while the Chinese Korean language learners excelled in noticing ellipses of the object of the sentences, they lacked the ability to perceive ellipses of the subject and the predicates. Finally, there was also a telling difference between intermediate-level and advanced-level learners in their ability to recognize the ellipses. 본 연구는 한국어 모어화자와 중국인 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 한국어 생략 유형 중 중국인 학습자들이 익숙하지 않은 개념 생략에 대한 인식 양상을 알아보는 데에 목적을 두었다. 이와 더불어 생략 성분별, 학습자 숙달도별로 학습자들의 개념 생략에 대한 인식 차이도 함께 살펴보고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 한국어 모어화자와 중국인 한국어 중·고급 학습자 각 15명을 실험 대상으로 하였다. 실험은 사전 편집된 동영상 자료를 피험자들에게 보여주고 여러 상황에서 생략 현상에 대한 인식을 알아보기 위하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 한국어 모어화자와 중국인 학습자 간에 개념 생략 인식에 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 학습자의 성분별 생략 인식 차이를 알아본 결과 목적어 생략을 잘 인식한 반면 주어와 서술어 생략에 대한 인식이 부족하였다. 마지막으로 학습자 숙달도에 따른 개념 생략 인식을 알아본 결과 중급 학습자와 한국인 간의 유의미한 차이가 나타났으나 고급 학습자와 한국인 간에 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 이를 통해 중국인 학습자를 대상으로 한 생략 연구가 많이 진행되지 않았던 점을 다소 보완하고 이를 효율적으로 교육할 수 있는 기초 연구가 될 것이라고 본다.

        Siamese Based Network for Detecting Quora Questions Similarity

        Quora search engine redirects to different discussion pages based on the search terms searched by the user. So, when questions that are semantically similar are searched on Quora, it sometimes redirects a user to different discussion pages even if there exists a page to the dedicated search. In such a case, Semantic Similarity among the questions carries highest weightage. So, for text, using traditional methods for calculating similarity, usually the text is considered as sequence of words and they just count the number of words that occurred in a sentence, on which some distance measures are applied to find the similarity, while missing the semantic level knowledge of the text during calculation. Considering such traditional methods, it will also require a huge training set as well as time to produce an accurate model. But in this Research Paper, Siamese Based Network is used that can train itself on a single example of each text to provide an accurate similarity output.I have used different types of pre-trained word embedding models like word-2-vec and glove to understand the semantics of the question pairs present in Quora Question Pair dataset. This paper introduces a new approach to calculate sentence similarity and gives astronishing results outperforming the current state of art Siamese Based LSTM models. Along with this new approach of using Manhattan LSTM with attention mechanism for similarity calculation, a comparative analysis is performed on the embedded question pairs, among different Siamese based LSTM models like LSTM and Manhattan LSTM, to predict whether the questions are similar or not and get the best model combination for Quora Question Pair

        Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Creative Digital Content Production

        In the digital media era, with developed communication technologies, the changes of creative digital content production have become a focus of designers. At the same time, the development of artificial intelligence technology has had an impact on various industries in society. This paper aims to analyse the impact of artificial intelligence on the production of creative digital content represented by online poster design and video design. Starting from the concept and scope of creative digital content, this research examines the history of artificial intelligence and design development and teases out the development context of intellectualized design. This paper will explore the impact of artificial intelligence on design thinking, digital content creation and designers. Through the case analysis of artificial intellectualized tools such as Luban and Alibaba Wood, the principle and application of poster and video intellectualized design are studied. Artificial intelligence has changed the traditional digital content creation process. In the era of intellectualized design, designers need to reshape design thinking, change the traditional role positioning, and rationally apply intellectualized design tools for design and creation. The fuse of artificial intelligence and design will inject new vitality into the broader research field of design.
