Protein phosphatase-1 (PP1) nuclear targeting subunit (PNUTS), also called PP1R10, p99, or CAT 53 was originally isolated as a mammalian nuclear PP1-binding protein. In this study, we performed yeast two-hybrid screens to identify PNUTS-interacting proteins. Here, we report that LCP1 (epidermal Langerhans cell protein 1), a novel member of the HMG-box protein family, binds tightly to PNUTS. Co-immunoprecipitation of deletion constructs revealed that the C-terminus of LCP1 is sufficient for the interaction with an N-terminal region of PNUTS that is distinct from its PP1-binding domain. Furthermore, immunofluorescence studies showed that a subpopulation of LCP1 co-localizes with PNUTS in nuclear speckles. Importantly, we found that the N-terminus of LCP1 has a strong trans-activation activity in a GAL4-based heterologous transcription assay. The transcriptional activity of LCP1 is markedly suppressed by its interaction with PNUTS, in a PP1-independent manner. These findings suggest that the coordinated spatial and temporal regulation of LCP1 and PNUTS may be a novel mechanism to control the expression of genes that are critical for certain physiological and pathological processes. This article aims to develop the indicators of performance evaluation of the strengthening of the accountability of the center and upgrading the quality of serves, program effectiveness and efficiency of the community welfare center. And for this end, the study investigated a variety of previous studies and major international trends regarding performance evaluation. This paper utilised the expanded systematic analytical approach on institutional input, process, output, and outcome for the performance evaluation of the community welfare center, and developed the final performance indicators through advice from academic experts and focus group interviews with field experts. The performance evaluation indicator is composed of these contents: evaluation of the achievement monitoring system of the organizations and programs, and evaluation of the degree of achievement, focused on the performance goals of the community welfare center.

In the formative period of the Korea's modern drama as a literary genre, the effect of the Western theatre was enormous. Especially the tragic features of the Korea's modern plays had the significant relations to the Western tragic tradition as well as the reflection of the desperate reality of those days. This paper focused on how the comic and idealistic view of the world changed into the tragic through the analysis of the plays with the motive of Shim-Chung story. Chae, Man Sik's Shim, the blind man denied the non-realistic divinity, that is the return to the optimistic view of the world with supernatural compensation for the good-natured behaviors and the compromise with the world But also this play had the comic characters and the laugh of the dramatic game. Choi, In Hoon's Moon, Moon, the Bright Moon showed the tragic through the intimate relations to the contemporary reality, but it revealed the deviational and scornful laugh with getting out of the traditional imagery which was regarded as the great value as well. Oh, Tae Suk's Why did Shim-Chung throw herself into the Indang-su twice? showed the tragic view of the world through the repetition and enhancement of the tragic situation, but also it gave the readers the denial laugh at the traditional authorities.

The violence is closely interrelated with the desire. The violence or the dire to be violent is caused by the struggles for satisfaction of one's internal desire or unsatisfied desire. Using Jacques Lacan's theory, this paper has an aim to study the structure of the desire and the violence in Cho, Kwang Wha's 「Mamja-Chungdong」 Jang-jeong is the character that has the drive to be violent in the struggles with the Father and the brothers. At first, he has a mis-recognized self-image through the identification with 「Godfather」's ‘Michael Corleone'. 'Michael Corleone' or 'Al Pacino' is the reflection of the Lacan's mirror stage and a 'Imaginary' identification. later this image of 'Al Pacino' interferes in the Jang-jeong's self-recognition to enter the 'Symbolic' order. So his self-recognition is a mis-recognition and causes his splitting of self-image and external violence. Besides Jang-jeong has the drive to be relent caused by unsatisfied desire, He desires to get the power, the name of the father outwardly. But his desire aims fir Dal-lae, the 'Real' object inwardly. His desire for Dal-lae is replaced with the other demand such as the father's name in the family and causes the violent actions. This is the lack of satisfaction and the desire is replaced unceasingly. Furthermore the spaces of this drama such as the closet, the room and Dan-dan's cafe are the reflection of the self-recognition of Jang-jeong, and influence the actions of the characters.
